The show Lucifer is more of a comedic type TV show and so I think it would Clash if you tried to mix Damien with Lucifer in the same show. But I like how you set up that scenario. Very funny

I REALLY thought this was going to be trash but it turned to be an EXCELLENT TV show, I was very hooked until the end of first season, it was a shame it was cancelled... It was creepy for a tv show, which typically aint creepy due to format

I would watch Bradley James in anything. He could sit for hours reading a book or doing his taxes and I'd watch it. So kudos on your casting, A&E. I'll be tuning in.
I can't see this continuing as a series. It's too dark. Then there is the lucifer series. Oh boy. If the characters have no qualities of good. People won't watch. I mean licifer is fighting crime. Too funny. Damien doesn't want to be bad. I'm glad they are taking this route.

Fantastic show.Can't believe I am saying this but I feel sympathetic for Damien when watching the show.He didn't choose this life.I sincerely hope Damien gets renewed for a second season.All the cast performances are terrific.Congrats and thanks to A&E for bringing such a good quality show to audiences.

I want it to continue! The season ended with a hint of romance between Damien and Simone, and I want to see it expanded.

The problem is that the viewing public is full of imbeciles that only respond to entertainment made to suit their simple minds. Damien was just too complex for the masses. *points to Duck Dynasty, 60 Days In, Married at First Sight, and the list of garbage entertainment goes on and on...*

If A&E had any sense, they would sell the series to another network. This was one of the best shows they've ever had. Of course this happens right when Damien decides to spread his wings and go to work. Knowing who really controls what we see on TV and read in the newspapers, I'm not so sure it was cancelled due to lack of viewer interest.

I'm not sure what you are referring to there but I do know the TV show Evil is just as close to storytelling as Damien is so why is Evil still on with season 3 airing right now?
For me? It would be the animal cruelty aspect of this show that might turn a lot of people off. I had to look away and in some instances try to fast forward through some of those scenes. For some reason the public can see human mutilation all over the place but when it comes to animals? That's a deal breaker. This is just my opinion.

I may actually watch this, the plot seems super interesting and the lady playing Bradley James mom is an actress I like. AND Bradley James playing the antichrist? Yeah, definitely watching at least the first episode

I'm guessing the flashback scenes from The Omen (1976) are supposed to have taken place in the mid 80's for this new series, since Bradley James (the adult Damien) is 32 years old, and Harvey Stephens (the original young Damien from the 1976 flashback scenes) is now a grey-haired 45 year old man.

I really love this show and I hope it doesn't get canceled. (Still upset about Hannibal) There are a lot of complaints about Damien not being evil enough and that he should remember being the anti-Christ. But I think he could be blocking memories and such. Also about him not being evil enough....I think Damien's real problem is that he feels ( and rightfully so) that people are using him and manipulating him. So he's fighting back against that. Once things get settled he'll probably fall into place a lot easier.

its actually interesting that damien lost his conciousness being the anti christ. Actually you need a protagonist in series, but this series is more about the antagonist

+Angel of Sarcasm Um.. it has nothing to do with what you're trying to imply.. Supernatural didn't introduce demons until later on in the beginning. Even so, it focused on monsters, and of course demons had to play a part in that. It made Supernatural more popular. Even moreso introducing the whole apocalypse, and a biblical apocalypse without Lucifer? Nah. Lucifer has been a comic book character since the 1980's. He's a DC comic character. He's been in X-Men, Superman, etc. This is more biblical than Satanic. And people like biblical. More specifically things involving Satan because he's basically the ultimate bad guy.

This series does not appear to have any connection to the 1976 movie. In the very last scene, during Robert's and Katherine's funeral, Damien is seen smiling meaning that he already embraced his evil nature. I mean which kid smiles at their parent's funeral, unless he's happy they are dead. Him being haunted by his past and struggling to deal with being the Anti Christ makes no sense.

I absolutely loved this tv series. I finished watching it last night. Very well done. I love the character of Ann Routledge. Loved all episodes (except for no.5, which was rather tedious). Wonderfully diabolical.

In the third part of the trilogy (That I rewatched yesterday, not knowing of the new series) they said that Damien Thorn was 34 in the 80's; and when they extrapolate the date of the second coming, they set the time of Damien Birth in 1953. So, or this is a modern retelling a la Bates Motel, or takes place after the remake (but they are using footage from the 1st movies)or it must be set in the 70's.
As they said in the first movie. All 7 daggers are needed to kill the Anti-Christ.
The first dagger kills only his body. It does not matter which one.
In the third film he was killed by only one dagger. So his body died and well, he could come back and be reincarnated.
I hope we will see more supernatural things like we saw in the second movie. In the third movie, we did not see a lot of supernatural even.
I am not sold on the visual or the casting for this movie except for the woman talking to Damien. She has beauty and creepyness all at once. That is one awesome acting.
He was reincarnated as his son, Alexander, in Omen IV.

It is freaking fantastic and you can actually learn a little bit from it and laugh a little bit and be shocked a lot. They are on their third season now and it's just fantastically written and fantastically acted

this is a good show just lack of good writing, if they change the tune a little bit and explain more about the events they skipped instead of show new issues, i think they r stalling becoz they couldnt write more interesting things. For me they have good start, just need a little change. Hope to see it going and im going to watch it if they renew season 2.
