I didn't hear about Damien but really enjoyed it when I stumbled upon it on hulu shame they cancelled it. I would have loved to watch the rest of the show play out. Was another show from A&E I stumbled upon late like Longmire when it showed up on on another service. Have seen 0 marketing towards either show even though I thoroughly enjoyed both.

Most of the clips we see online make the show look more like a conspiracy and a bit like those investigative cop show with a hint of creepiness. This bit with the flies was a nice touch. The acting is great. The plot I have no idea. I felt the first episode was rushed and lacked in character development. He came to the realisation to fast for my taste.

A&E, you should not only renew Damien for season 2 but also make the season a bit longer like 13 episodes instead of 10.
