How we Installed Temporary Propping to this 15C Listed Timber-framed Building

‎@UKRestorationServices Phil talks about how we installed temporary propping to this 15th Century listed timber frame building. The video starts on the ground floor, Phil explains how the across props were installed to support the timber frame. Subsidence on part of the building at the ground floor has cause issues with the buildings stability. Hugh soilder props were installed to the timber beams to support the weight of all 3 storeys.
We also installed 5 ton cargo straps wrapped around the beams to the external elevation. These straps supports and help the elevation with retaining the timberwork.
Props were fabricated, this can be seen in this UA-cam video • Welding & Fabricating ... . We installed these on the ground floor with I beams to support the post.
