SERIES SUMMARY
The Alpha Jay Show reviews animation episodes, animated TV movies, cartoons, and other things as a main series. I have reviewed many things from Fairly Oddparents to SpongeBob to Teen Titans Go to The Amazing World Of Gumball and many more. Expect a fair, open-minded and non-pandering review of whatever episode I use. Bear in mind while I do use copyrighted material, it is highly likely that my content falls under the legal defense of fair use.

SHOW SUMMARY
Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old boy, has had it with his babysitter! He summons his fairy godparents who have the power to grant him wishes. Some of the wishes are really helpful, others don't work out so well. Timmy's godparents Wanda and Cosmo have ideas of their own and always lead Timmy on interesting adventures.

It's a massive double standard that Chloe who gets fairies but Chester does not. Chloe's "misery" is entirely self-inflicted because of her own "perfection" meaning no one wants to be her friend, but Chester is poor and has to live with the constant shame of his dad being a social outcast to the point he has to wear a bag over his head. Or Tootie having to live with a horrible, abusive sister like Vicky. Unlike Chloe, the reasons for their misery is due to their home loves and are out of their control, Chloe on the other hand is the architect of her own "misery" and the episode builds her up as "perfect" and everyone loves her.
+Greatsaiyakirby I couldn't have said it better myself.
As for Chester, they most likely wanted another female character to be part of the main cast. Tootie wouldn't keep her mouth shut about having fairies as seen in her birthday episode.
Chester's life sucks, but he seems to be genuinely happy despite his lot in life. He loves his dad and isn't ashamed of him at all, has friends in Timmy and AJ so he isn't a social pariah, and is so used to having nothing that little things make him happy. That's the only explanation I could come up with for why he wouldn't get his own fairies.
But that would make for an interesting character arc for her where she has to learn to keep a secret.
How do you know that he doesn’t have a fairy?
How come Vicky's little sister doesn't get fairies?
+pytko3 They would rather bring in an annoying character
Alpha Jay Show This reminds me of Pinky and the Brain and Larry.
If I have to guess by the birthday episode when Timmy gave his fairies to her she'll probably just lose them anyway because she'd tell someone.
pytko3 how come Chester doesn't get fairies. that kid lives in a trailer park he only has one parent who wears a bag on his head and he deals with Vicky too. his dad gets his meals from the zoo. he's been wearing braces since the very beginning so that means he can't afford a good dentist also he's a good kid. when Norm the genie became a fairy and became a Fairy Godparent to Chester and then he saw Timmy upset he offered to give up his fairy to Timmy just because he was upset. I don't know what Jorgen's been smoking but need needs to wake up and not give fairies to selfish kids who always get into trouble.
Ametistazu
But Cosmo and Wanda never told her about the rules so it's possible she wouldn't slip up
It's so easy to fix Chloe, just introduce her parents as people who need everything to be "perfect" and have Chloe be constantly stressed out about some small mistake she makes because of how she was raised
Here’s the thing, Chloe doesn’t need to be “fixed” they just needed to expand her character more. A person who makes themselves miserable because they feel like they have to be perfect to be liked instead of being themselves is an interesting premise. However, the “I’m gonna do something good but it constantly backfired” and the look at how perfect I am attitude ruined it. There’s only a few moments in the show when she breaks down because she genuinely wanted things to be good but they weren’t that made her feel like a better character but it’s constantly overshadowed by her bad traits.
Alyssa May So like Pacifica
huh, I guess you can make perfection a character flaw.
Thomas Herbst You can make anything a character flaw, it just takes practice
@@alyssamay9237 I guess

You know, I vaguely remember there being a rule that only children with miserable lives get godparents. And from what I see, Chloe clearly does not lead a miserable life before getting assigned Cosmo and Wanda. 🤔
Unless you count moving away just to make a bunch of friends/followers/admirers and then getting magical fairies you don’t even need- oh wait, that’s a good thing. Your completely right. They weren't trying to poke fun at the phenomenon. They were using it to keep themselves modern.
Honestly, this episode looks like a cry for help. I think Chloe was shoehorned in by the network or something, so the writers are trying to make her the most repulsive thing ever.
+Kohdok Yeah but the network can cut the cord.
It's actually the exact opposite they want to make her perfect so they can make Timmy seem selfish and a horrible person...she doesn't have any flaws
Fun fact: Chloe was all Butch Hartman's idea. Yup, he created her and her overall personality and straight up told his writers to put her in. Butch even said on a panel that he loves adding new characters because he believes it adds a "fresh take" to the show after they've been running for a while
xcxsailormoonxcx yep that’s true, he has a UA-cam channel and made a video where he speaks about Chloe even more. I’m sure he regrets adding her to the show now lol

I thought the thing with "Imaginary Gary" was that Gary was technically part of Timmy, and thus, isn't another godkid, but the same godkid. Because he's a part of Timmy.

The only joke that made me laugh from this episode is when me Crocker sees Timmy jump out of the robot and screams " THEY'RE MULTIPLYING!". That had me in tears 😂
Crocker is the only person keeping this series alive. "In man's worst friend" I laughed so hard when he had a relationship with a cat named Girlfriend.
Lmao same dude! Crocker was just hilarious right there! XD I'm glad he hasn't vanished, same as for Vicky. ^^

Wait ..what not effected by Vicky..wow she really is a self insert fanfic character...
Odd fiction very odd ficiton.
I'm getting a feeling that Jorgan somehow made Chloe this way to fuck with Timmy's life. Hell I believe he also did that in it's a wishful life because a good portion of the reasoning for people being better off with out Timmy made no sense. Where was Sanjay in all of this? Tootie, Mark Chang, The Crimson Chin, and Catman huh?
Jim Slasher I believe that Jorgan haves still some unsolved issues with Timmy.
The addition of Poof was honestly kind of interesting when it first hit the scene because it introduced to us a fairy that was just as magically powerful as any other but without the ability to control said magic. That concept alone could bolster a lot of episodes. But why did we need another Cosmo and Anti cosmo?
That's exactly how I feel. Everyone says that Poof was a total mistake, but I think the addition of Poof was an alright thing. Most of the episodes including him weren't too bad and he helped to create a lot of new stories. However, Sparky just disappointed me and Chloe just got me fucking pissed off.
Foop had to exist though. Especially since he was poof's exact opposite so it makes sense that he'd be introduced because for every fairy, there is an anti fairy
I loved Poof and the addition of him made perfect sense for the show. Same went for Sparky, neither of these two characters had to have the premise of the show changed in order to include them. Chloe's inclusion makes zero sense when you give it any amount of thought and it's contrived as hell.
I agree that poof was a good addition to the cast. It showed how fairys were made. My only complaint was that they didn't give much development for poof. Also where the hell is he in this episode?

‘And then the exact opposite happens!’ Timmy Turner must be really tired of being wrong all the time! Then again there was a whole episode about that!
Okay we can all agree
Chester and Tootie deserves fairies WAY more than Chloe
Yes
Especially, Tootie
Excuse me but they gave Wanda and Cosmo phones?! What is the point of that. They can do actually anything with their wands. I feel old saying this but... they are using too much technology in the new episodes. I can't put my finger on WHY but, it just, upsets me. For some reason...
Its because they're trying to appeal to modern kids without garnering their actual interest but reminding them of popular and hip trends, as with what PPG2016 is badly doing.
Thanks for the response but it was more of a rhetorical question. lol
+Vampiremonkey426 Because they never used modern technology and trends from the start.
Dair2Knee didn’t they make a joke that pixies use phones instead of wands?
It probably upsets you because those two have used their wands as phones before (with face cams I think). Those wands can warp the very fabric of reality, so why would they need phones.
Could've have gave Chester some fairies he needs them...
Ohmygosh I remember boil boy!
BRO YOUR RIGHT!
Timmy should share C&W with Chester instead of Chloe.
Yes. Or Elmer or Sanjay. Elemer is constantly ostracized for his boil and low status and Sanjay has an overbearing, drill sergeant stepfather who doesn't really understand him (see that episode where Timmy wishes he had a different dad and gets bounced around from his friends' houses after he exoresses him dissatisfaction). I would LOVE to see more into their characters (as they only get that episode and the episode where the moms go to that ski resort for bonding time to show deeper into their characters) as we don't see either Elmer's parents or home life or Sanjay's mother or home life. These new episodes absolutely suck!

Gonna be honest, when you said "Chloe is [blank]," I initially just assumed *that* was the descriptor because she's just a blank character. (Which is a shame because I think her design is pretty cute. It's just that... that's the only likable thing about her.)
Why don't they bring back Norm the Genie instead of creating all these new characters? He was the best lol

Why can't they possibly counterbalance the Chloe Mary Sue problem by letting her have Poof and make Poof a fairy in training that bungles her wishes due to inexperience? Or even give her Sparky whose very nature is chaos?
Ha hahahahaha! I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I put in more effort than this season deserves.
+AnnoyingSquib The fact that this show is so easily fixable is frustrating.

Alpha Jay Show I think there was an episode where that was a thing except it was Crocker's Mom instead of Chloe
Its sad when people who aren't getting paid to write these episodes can come up with a better plot for this concept than the actual writers. Even ignoring just how really bad this whole thing is for the show. It fails on a basic storytelling structure as well.
RedfurredPikachu it shows just how much Nickelodeon cares about what kind of products they push out to their viewers
Having her take Poof, and seeing Poof learn from the mistakes but maybe misunderstanding words or take things too literally as kids can do would have been super neat

All interesting characters no matter who, how, or why you find them interesting have one thing in common. Just ask one simple question:
HOW DO THEY HANDLE CONFLICT?
Because all stories have conflict, whether it be to save the world or just deal with an annoying bully, or what ever. Does your character, get mad? fight? flee? fall apart? power through? Chloe isn't interesting because she is nearly unfazed by any conflict she comes across, what little there is. Heck if they made it a joke that she's just too oblivious to the world around her to acknowledge problems or she makes a choice to ignore it all together that could be funny, but for Chloe there's NOTHING interesting about how she faces any (If any) adversity.
👍Props to you.😉
MadameTamma Aye, you are correct. :D
Also she is the exact opposite of the type of person who'd get fairies. Who remembers when a child had to be absolutely miserable to get fairies.
I do. I knew as a child watching the show any kid with fairies had to meet a certain criteria. Remedy despite being rich and having a good life never had parents who paid attention to him.

Wouldve been funny if it was actual ducklips and Cosmo's being so cool its uncool. Lol
You know what...
What if Chloe was in fact lying about who she was and was just pretending to be perfect. What if her backstory her was like she was never noticed and felt alone and as proof they show old episodes and point out where she was reveling herself as a former background character. Desperate for attention like the child she is, she fabricated this persona to finally be notice and be popular and seen by others. She’s an attention seeker. Maybe after she gets fairies as a reward for being good and suddenly we’ll loved, she begs Timmy not to reveal her true intentions so she can keep getting loved. Since Timmy being neglected was a big cause of his misery, he caves on the condition he has to basically be his sidekick. And thous the new season starts with Timmy now having Chloe as an accomplice in his mischievous adventures.
Yeah it’s not that great, I’m not a professional writer, but wouldn’t that be something? :3
That's fantastic.
This is phenomenal. It adds genuine complexity and relatable inner struggles to Chloe's character, and even gives Timmy's more compassionate side a chance to shine (and of course his more self-serving side shows as well)
That background character idea is really good. Show scenes from some earlier episodes, and have the camera pan over to Chloe doing something that gets ruined, either by Timmy's antics, her parents, or something else.
Is it just me or do the VA's for the characters seem really tired? Like Cosmo doesn't sound like Cosmo anymore, same can be said for Timmy too. Like They're fatigued of the characters or something...I noticed this in SpongeBob too.
3 years ago dang. But here is an answer anyway: probably from not voicing the characters for such a long time
@@Thetrickyace lol forgot about this comment, but yeah. Putting aside that the VA's have physically aged, they probabbly felt stagnant from voicing the same characters for so long. :-/

Good lord, we need to make a delorean.
I prefer Sparky The Fairy Dog to be a supporting character rather than being a main character and Chloe Carmichael to be a recurring character rather than being a main character so that will happen in The Oh My Fairy GOddParents when the writers are now going to re-introduce Sparky The Fairy Dog and Chloe Carmichael as supporting and recurring characters rather than main characters so Sparky The Fairy Dog can live beside Cosmo and Wanda’s parents’ houses and Chloe Carmichael can live in Maine so she can go to Dimmsdale Elementary School and go to all places in Maine and Dimmsdale and hang out with Timmy Turner and likes him so much and be learned to make mistakes properly and correctly.
You know, Butch Hartman used to be one of my favorite cartoonists, but lately he's let me down, especially with what his first show has become. What I really hate about Chloe is that she is what is possibly the most blatant example of a textbook Mary Sue: perfect in every single way with no flaws whatsoever other than really minor and petty ones.
Yeah, I think this show needs to die and fast.
+Masterge77 Fortunately the show isn't living for too long.
I'm aware, they just recently switched to Flash animation, and it looks abysmal and extremely jarring, which is pretty much a sign that the show is on it's final legs. The show probably won't last past the end of this year, and I'd be surprised if it was even renewed for another season.
Watch his UA-cam channel. That way you can still enjoy his content. If you ask me the Network is to be blamed because they won't let their popular shows die because money. Reason why SpongeBob took over all their running time and made their good shows suffer. (Legend of Korra as an example)
It’s official. It did.
Please, we need to let SpongeBob bring back their good shows from being bad with their new names and be good again because of the rise of entertainment streaming services.

Poof wasn't needed, but Poof was an addition to the show that was easily excepted. The originality of poof was interesting, but that's why Chloe was so dislikes. Chloe had no originality, no personality, that's why she's so disliked.
Crocker made the show very relatable
I always thought it was bad since...he has TWO fairies.
Why not just like...have one stick around with Chloe half the time and the other with Timmy but they hang out together, swap, and they live in the fishbowl still when Chloe goes to bed.Or if Chloe doesnt need help, the other fairy goes and hangs out with Timmy. And vice versa.
OMG You just think-
I can't believe I'm going to come to this episode's defense, but you could make the argument that, since Gary is a figment of Timmy's imagination, he would technically be a part of him, and therefore count as Timmy, as far as Da Rules are concerned.
Didn’t Remy and Timmy have a wish off at one point?
Well, Wanda did use that very fact as the reason as to why Gary could unwish Timmy's wishes, so I'd say that that is a valid argument, although not exactly defending the episode.
although it is hard to say whether the producers in this episode did this because of that episode or that they just forgot and came up with it on their own.

You know, I just realized what the perfect Chloe episode would've been instead of this. Perfect Chloe openly despises her life despite how well off she is. Due to the fairy shortage, either Cosmo and Wanda have to split apart or Timmy has to share. Timmy chooses to share, gets increasingly frustrated over her clashing pessimism and perfection, and finally lectures her. She's initially offended but after thorough thinking (maybe a chat with the god parents) she realizes that her life isn't as horrible as she once thought. She gives back Cosmo and Wanda and promises to try and keep her chin up for now on.
Possible plot hole: She knows about magic even though she no longer has god parents. Solution: Chloe and Timmy act like they're sharing in front of Jorgan so then he doesn't wipe her memory. Suddenly, not being caught is a plot worth a few episodes in the season.
+natkatmac They could have given her Poof or Sparky.
That'd help a series long plot, but I doubt a baby or dog would count enough as a god parent. Maybe combined. Honestly I forgot about them.

technically you should be able to unwish others wishes

in the episode with mr turners trophy he went more or less to the same time (year) so he was able to go back , not just exactly to the event with crocker
Anyone remember when Timmy wished Vicky about 1000000 miles away and Vicky was sent to... Marks planet (Not even gonna try to spell it) But when Timmy wished to be farthest away from Chloe, he went to the center of the earth...

Thank you for commenting.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Cosmo and Wanda's wands fell into the center of the Earth once those creatures burst out, but then in the next scene, Cosmo uses his wand to show how Chloe's decisions are bad
I just call her Chloe Sue, feels more honest to me...
Exactly
Chole sue: the daughter of mary sue lol
Did anyone else notice after there wands fall into a fissure and Chloe and Wanda explain her "problem" Cosmo pulls out a wand to poof in a screen and projector.....
Wow. They really were not trying at all.
Also Timmy is bathing with his clothes on.
This comment should have more upvotes, that is such a good point.
modern Fairly odd parents has a lot of bad episodes, but no episode is worst than the episode It's a wishful life.
I can make the argument that at least the show bounced back and continued making good episodes afterwards.
what I meant was no new episode can be worse than it's a wishful life.
Casual CraftMan
I hope no new episode is that bad.
same here
Eh, I liked it, mostly because I like dark, yet reasonable plots.
The fact that Timmy I'd obviously not the best guy, and has plenty of flaws, causing enjoyable comeuppances makes an episode about him realizing that his actions negatively impacted others works for me...

"How will they turn sharing everything into something horrible?"
Communism in a nutshell.
Timmy: I wish there was no such thing as Friday’s! Me: Noooooooooo! I was born on a Friday!
Mr stark I don’t feel so good
last time I checked the hole point of having fairy god parents was to make the child happy implying that said child I s miserable, so why make Timmy share his with a perfect little blonde haired blue eyed piece of sunshine, who is clearly eternally happy without god parents, did butch forget his own rule?
No, she's "miserable" because she's so perfect (I don't get it but I remember hearing it somewhere)
Well the writers forget that once a child loses their godparents, their memory is supposed to be wiped of them as well as all evidence. Yet, Crocker remembers having Sparky, has video footage of him, and has seen/ interacted with Cosmo and Wanda and knew their old names from when they were his fairies.
lilsingingsensation They explained in an old episode how Crocker remembers Cosmo and Wanda, but I haven’t bothered to watch any of the newer episodes ever since Foop was introduced so I can’t argue with anything else you said.
Butch wants the series to die. He's making it shitty on purpose. He wants to get the show cancelled so he can stop doing it already. He's under contract and HAS to do the show but he's tired of it.
What does hair and eye color have to with this....yes I'm blonde haired blue eyed, the only one in my family who is. I hate the old stereotype that we're stupid, if that's what you're implying.
The show ended at s8 episode Meet the oddparents. Season 9 is season 1 of the spinoff while season 10 is season 2 of the spinoff
+Red Menace That's a pretty good theory.
I just realized that when Cosmo and Wanda were explaining to Timmy why Chloe wasn't perfect, Cosmo used his wand to poof a projector even though he and Wanda hadn't gotten their wands back...
Who would win?
A good Butch Hartman Show that has good animation
One Mary Sue Gurl
I miss Tuff Puppy
Solgaleo
@donna button Good Butch Hartman Animation.
"never satisfied five" was the best joke out of the whole episode
+inuyashasmells I can respect that.
Should have been the "Never Satis-5".
Everything past when sparky enters the show is pretty much awful...
+Tarponpet Secord I completely agree.
I just say it who was responsible for this. DINKELBERG!
17:52 wow I never noticed that he purposely DOGED THE QUESTION and NO ONE acknowledged it🤦🏾♂️

good reason

If they want to take a selfie, fine, but it's more or so when it's overused in media.
It's the new 90s...
Pokemario Fan It's the damn jews
I am reminded of a quote from Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park. It was something to the effect of "the art of storytelling is very cause-and-effect. When you need to plot out the story beats you should always find 'therefore' or 'but' in between for a good story to make sense, one event directly causing another. You should NEVER have 'and then' between your story beats, if you do you've screwed up the story. It's no longer a logical progression of events but rather just a bunch of disconnected stuff happening." That's why they hate Family Guy despite the similarly vulgar/adult sense of humor, because Family Guy has too many nonsensical cutaway gags that have nothing to do with the plot.
The thing that I don’t get is that didn’t he get his fairy’s taken away once for having a good life so if cloe (don’t know how to spell) is having a good life why does she need fairy’s
I think that Friday wish Timmy made would slowly destroy the anti fairies instead. Since they are the most powerful on FRIDAY the 13, if Fridays are taken out of the week, then it would be kind if cool to see Timmy having to save the race before they all lose all of their magic, and die.
But it's just my idea.
+F. A. That's a great idea! Now I really want to see that.
honestly , i like anti cosmo , i dont mind anti fairies
14:09 I showed my dad. His reaction - What the hell is that?
+XScreamX Wow really? Lol

I would like to know too
Eh-- Aurora Borealis?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the website, localized entirely within your channel?

Episode rewrite:
What if Chole is this new anxious girl that no one takes interest in, no one. And when she comes into school she aces everything but is treated as if its not important, like she has the best technology and clothes and even the best grades but everyone ignores her, and she is friendless, then Timmy being pressured by casmo and wanda to talk to her become friends for their love of action cartoons and comics.
But she always refuses for Timmy to go to her expensive mansion later Timmy goes inside by force and sees hoe terrible her home life is, maybe her parents are abusive? Maybe the put so much pressure on her? Maybe both her parents are sick and she has to take care of them
Honestly maybe they could have used the other character that has a miserable life. Maybe the little sister of the essence of evil, cries all the time idk another kid with T.
if someone claimed that they're miserable because he/she makes a bunch of and don't have friends, I would have slapped their face because they already have friends and then called them out on their BS
The sad thing is that they could've had a decent twist in that a lot of the stuff happening around Chloe could've been literally stuff she wished for the previous night or so.
They really should’ve expanded on her need to be perfect and how it stresses her out and breaks her down.
Why did she get the fairies when she is the opposite of miserable! That was a huge plot hole, so I agree with you.
FOP feels like Nickelodeon, it's going down hill.
+Keven Zephir I completely agree with you.
yep
+The Internet Explorer true
TG for Harvey Beaks & the Loud House. And the Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie which is actually getting made now!
P0CK3TB00K
It's keeping what's left of Nick's integrity alive
Also, by the way "Female is great in every way except she's clumsy" is the laziest fucking trope on the planet. It's a trope that goes back to fucking Scooby Doo. The original. That how old this shit is.
+thatrealycoolguy I really dislike it as well.
Clumsiness as a female character flaw is so contrived; it's just something that's slapped on a character who's not developed enough to have any real flaws.
I'm not at all clumsy but if you give Abra-Catastrophe a chance then that will explain perfectly about what kind of flaw can be given to someone like me
The moment when Chloe almost fell into the crack I yelled "YES!! YESSSS!!" but then.. ugh.. Timmy SADLY saved her..
although I stopped watching the show for almost 9 years now and everything I hear about it just makes me so fricking MAD and for some time, before I knew what I know today I thought of giving the new episodes a try maybe they aren't so bad BUT NOW
just No.
I always thought like there’s a fairy shortage but Timmy has 4 fairy’s 2-4x more than normal kids
I can tell that the writers are idiot, because ... VICKY THE MAIN VILLAIN IS NO LONGER IN ANY PLOT OR EPISODE! SO WHY DOES HAVE FAIRIES STILL?!?!
+rkclg rkclg That is a very good point.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE AGREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is Francis still in the newer episodes?
Arnold Shortman Nope
I actually miss Vicki XD
Alpha Jay Show isn't having exotic animals as pets illegal so shouldn't Chloe be arrested.
Depends on what state you live in.
Why did Chloe even get fairies? She is happy and successful, didn’t the show state you have to be miserable and alone to get them in season 1? Or have they even forgotten that at this point
You know what the saddest part about Chloe is? She could’ve actually worked if a little more thought was put into her creation. Just hear me out:
What if, instead of the fairy shortage (which let’s be honest, is complete crap of an excuse), Cosmo and Wanda were put to work as mentors for new fairies, assigned to teach a new fairy named… I don’t know, Spanky Sparkleton or something, who just so happens to be assigned to Chloe (thus justifying Timmy and Chloe constantly being around each other). And while Chloe is still “perfect”, she’s only perfect compared to the rest of the town, with her family being like god tier levels of perfect that no normal human could ever achieve. This could lead to her having self confidence issues because she’s constantly comparing herself to her family, thus justifying her having fairies to begin with. However, Spanky is an absolute klutz and can barely make a proper wish, which also explains why all the wishes immediately go wrong. Not only that, it sets up a pretty good dynamic between Chloe and Spanky, the two bettering each other in the process.
Here’s the real kicker though. Do you want to know how long it took me to come up with that rewrite? 10 minutes. 10 freaking minutes! It took me 10 minutes to come up with something better than what the writers came up with in like, what, a year.
I know how much some people may like me but the real me is much worse than you imagine. So hear me out when I say that I never want the real Chloe to exist it's fine if you don't hate Crocker but
I have my reason for why his legacy should never live on. So ask me does Mr. Crocker deserve to have a niece that exists for him or should her life end in a way that you can't possibly imagine?
Or have her be miserable *because* she's too nice. There's absolutely some truth that being too nice makes you unable to do much, and be preyed on. It's not like that's a situation that's uncommon
I stopped watching it. I think the new seasons are just horrible. But I still wish the whole show was on Netflix or on hulu. That show was my childhood.
+asp 2010 I love the older seasons.
Thank you for commenting.
Everyone cares if Timmy gets fairy god parents. But no one cares if Jorgan wanted to become his new god child.
Your wishes came true (but it kinda depends on your country.) However, unfortunately, it's only the first 3 seasons (at least for now). Idk about Hulu tho
@@Idkanymore9029 wow I forgot I made that comment lol. I noticed they put it on Netflix that's pretty great.

This "show" Is the bane of my existence.... Not because I hate the show, No fairy odd parents is my childhood, I loved this show, I seen every episode (even the bad ones), I even still have a doll of Timmy I got on eBay when I was 8, But these episodes man, it's fucking torture man. I tried to watch the new episodes, I tried to like them, but I just can't.... They make no sense, It's pandering to a demographic I'm not even in.... It's trying to be cool but it's just annoying. Look I'm 15 now I've been watching fairy odd parents for 7/15 years and I still think this is bad. That's why I moved into different things..... And that's what all the old fans have to do.... The writers and nick as a whole isn't gonna change anytime soon. They are just gonna keep pumping out trash like this till the series is milked whole which then they will just cancel this show immediately. I suggest trying to try another show maybe go back and watch some older shows that you may have not liked as a kid
Nah, this show is going to keep going until the end of the time. Okay, exaggerating but seriously, unless something drastic happens, I feel this show is going to keep going and going and going. Same with Spongebob. See, at least Cartoon Network knows when it's time to pull the plug but I think that's because Cartoon Network is in a better state.
Nick feels they have to rely on constant spams of SB and FOP because they don't have any other cartoons that are popular.
Decadent Gamer Good news! The cancellation of Fairly Odd Parents has been announced! Rot in hell Chloe! Rot in hell!

I just feel the show had a good run for awhile but all good things must come to end. For some shows, that end came a long time ago lol

"I wish that everyone would share EVERYTHING!" Soviet Nation Anthem plays, and she is edited to look like Karl Marx
If I had the chance to rewrite Chloe to make her character type fit the show, the first thing is she wouldn't be another "miserable" child, but more of a mentor for Timmy. The fact that she's nearly perfect and compassionate of others, the anti-thesis of Timmy, would instead make her a sort of mentor for Timmy, hired (as in simply asked) by Jorgen to help Timmy work himself out to avoid future calamities and quickly overcome the misery in his life (in response to how old this show is, which would wrap FOP nicely in its last season). Now I'm not too good with jokes myself, or watched any recent FOP episodes to know the style of comedy used, but off the top of my head, the reason Chloe would be willing to help Jorgen help Timmy is so she can get her final badge in Girl scouts (help a miserable average kid merit badge). Since she's also a mentor for Timmy, and not assigned Fairy God Parents personally, she can't make wishes, but can try to persuade Timmy to change or rethink his wish before Wanda/Cosmo grant it, instead of them just going for it. There would also be times where her advice wasn't spot-on or she let something slip pass her and things get messed up, forcing the cast to fix it before things spiral out of control, the usual plot for the series, and the lesson with that would be even the most perfect people can mess up sometimes, to humanize Chloe. I know the show did that already but it seemed weak to me.
That's just something to make her existence more reasonable, as opposed to being perfect but making slightly careless mistakes and believing you're miserable as a result. It still breaks a few rules the earlier seasons had made, but to justify a new human main character's existence, I think it's not as confusing and breaks a few less rules than before. Would also be a nice conclusion and could easily grant the show a finale episode, where Timmy puts all the lessons he learned into play, along with a few new ones to show his signs of maturing. Some slips, but he's human, and Chloe's role would be support rather than forcing a shared spotlight.
I actually liked the "MY fairies. GET YOUR OWN!!!1!1!1!" part

poof was actually a character I really enjoyed.... foop i had no opinion on, i didn't have an opinion on sparky cause I was younger. But chloe....................... please just stop......

The way Timmy does that out of context twitching when he says the word "sharing", it makes it look like he's gonna have a stroke.

Can I have 500$ worth of gift cards for each game I own that has in app purchases?
Chloe: lol sure
Me: **in my head* *‘you fool’
The only thing I can think of for the contradiction against Imaginary Gary is because Gary is Timmy, meaning any wish Gary makes is equivalent to wishes from Timmy. I understand it's a weak explanation and it does not excuse how contrived the rule still is, or at the very least, it's only one of many problems that still have some explaining to do.
Whenever I hear Chloe speak, I just close my eyes and try to imagine Kagami from Lucky Star speaking instead to alleviate some of the pain tbh.
They could've easily salvaged this by having Chloe be super stressed with overachieving. Having so much pressure put on her by her parents, and then by other people when they see what she's capable of, that the fairy board or whoever decides who gets fairies, gives her a set to help her relax and enjoy life a little. Pairing Timmy and Chloe together like this could give them opportunities to learn from each other. Chloe learns how to unwind from Timmy. Timmy learns how to apply himself a little better from Chloe. This dynamic could've worked with a couple minor tweaks
