In the beggining of the show, Vicky was rude and bullied timmy, but she was always made sure he didnt get any physical harm bc she knew it could lead to her getting fired. After awhile the writers just gave up and made her a raging psychopath who just wants to injure little kids for the giggles. Its sad how far these characters fell

FOP and Spongebob are the examples of how Nick runs good series into the ground, the horse has long since decayed, now they kick the dirt where it once laid.
Im glad that CN with their bs ways of canceling good shows and keeping shows like TTG running let Gumball end instead of dragging that on. It's already wacky but endearing humor would've turned just wacky and annoying if they continued or if it was originally a Nick show.

I didn’t like how Foop was smart and could already talk and all that If an anti-fairy baby is just as powerful it should have been similar to the hubub around poof, and if every fairy has an anti-fairy Anti-Cosmo should have known the baby was on the way and their baby should have been born at the same time
I remember when cosmo and patrick being stupid was funny. I still crack up from the “don’t touch me I’m sterile”joke to this very day. Now we are at that time where cosmo and patrick are just infuriatingly stupid just to be stupid. It was funny because it wasn’t forced and I could tell the writers wasn’t trying with patrick and cosmo. It’s clearly forced now therefore it’s not funny.
I like how in the earlier seasons Vicky was just a normal mean teenage brat that was just mean to Timmy but then in later seasons she became a sociopath that likes to torture children
She also becomes what is basically a guest character in the final two seasons. It really makes you wonder why they didn't just remove her from the intro and replace her with Crocker or Foop by that point.
It’s annoying how Foop is the same size/biggger than their heads (same with foop sometimes) Also Foop is literally a baby so it makes me uncomfortable when they act like jerks to him before he’s had the chance to do anything
The fairy's not disguising themselves anymore is so weird. I know some people know he has fairies now but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be in disguise
I think people keep confusing black holes with Wormholes one turns you into cosmic spaghetti as it forces you into a single singularity and the other is a theredic rift in space time
I REALLY wish they would have delved into this concept more If this happened, then I haven’t seen it If this was before the bunsen crossover and evil children get anti-fairies that girl in bunsen should have teamed up with Foop and Crocker (since Foop and Crocker are friends now?) instead of relying on the same joke that fell flat in all 3 acts
There’s actually an episode in Season 9 where Poof starts speaking gibberish instead of ‘poof poof’ and by the end of it, he’s properly speaking. There’s an episode later on in that season featuring him and his talking, but it’s a different voice for some reason. Just providing some info.
Chole COULD have worked. It was so painfully obvious, Timmy's getting too old for his faries and now there's a new girl that needs them more, so he has to share his fairies with her until he feels like he's ready to let go, the series finale being Timmy saying goodbye to his fairies and letting Chloe have them in full, the show ending with a rewrite of the opening theme during the end credits. IT WAS SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS AND THEY DIDN'T DO IT!
The thing I hate the most is the deterioration of the relationships in the series, Timmy's parents and Cosmo and Wanda's relationships are not what they used to be, I always saw Cosmo and Wanda as how a couple is loving and still takes care of a child, but they just eventually devolve to fighting and insulting each other.
Hey, Foop saying that wasn’t hard law, Foop just thought Sammy couldn’t do that. Kind of like “You’ll never make a basket in basketball” and then the person makes the basket? Dumb thing to harp about
So, humans see fairies casually (even if the humans won't be suspicious, it ruins what establishes the show), characters just... mashing together in meetups, the sheer need to add contrivances and coincidences, and the lack of structure in favor of just random humor. I swear, at this point, a fan could write a much better story.
Chloe is not a bad character on her own. If she was a new girl that Timmy suddenly has a crush on and she learns about the Fairies hanging out with him it would be fine. Her actually sharing the Fairies and seeing her in every episode onward was a bad call.
We had tootie, Chester, so much characters where they are on the waitlist for a godparent but then they drop Cloe on us and gives her the least horrible childhood ever then go "yep she deserves fairies more than these abused kids" when the worst thing she had before fairies is being lonely from being too perfect
The reason I hate this episode so much is because this is Vicky's last episode. This is the main villain's final hurrah and her final scene is of her getting concussed by a fucking kangaroo.
That new animation looks trippy but I don’t mind it either lol, when you said Vicky has 2 friends and you just see Crocker and ex boyfriend 😂😂😭 fantastic video as usual so proud keep up the fantastic work 💚
I'm surprised that Vicky wouldn't find a way to blackmail people to being her friend online since that feels like that's something she'd have the ability to do.
Chloe seems to share a trend I notice with a lot of female characters (take note, I am a woman) and that there always seems to be this air of fear from the writers you can feel from them that they're utterly terrified of making female characters, for the lack of better terms, stupid. Okay, maybe not STUPID but in a way they seem scared to allow them to be just sort of likeable bratty yet the best female characters that I love EMBRACE that because they DO feel different and it's just a lot more fun to see characters that can take a few hits rather than the writer avoiding that to happen because they're scared they'll offend someone for allowing the comedy characters in the comedy shows to deal with comedic situations. It's why I like Vicky and Tootie over Chloe. Vicky is evil to a comedic degree that you laugh at how outlandish her plans and chores are, all because she seriously wants to make Timmy miserable for NO REASON. And there's Tootie who is hyperactive, nerdy and oblivious but at the same time adorable, sweet and you want the best for her because after Vicky is done with Timmy, she takes her cruelty out on her. It's why I can get on the bandwagon of people who think she should have gotten to share fairies because it would have created a better dynamic; Timmy is terrified of Tootie because of how clingy she is but him having to learn more about her via thee Fairy Share would have been a perfect way to end the show and would have come full circle in a wonderful way as the original OYC shorts began with Timmy having to work with Tootie to reset the birthday party chaos and it ending with Cosmo and Wanda actually helping them become good friends would have been the topper. Chloe....just doesn't cut it and it's because she's more or less an amalgamation of characters that are already there that serve their purpose. She's intelligent like AJ, has bad luck like Chester but also smiles through it like Tootie yet she really can't capture the charm of the three characters I mentioned on their own. It also doesn't help that Timmy comes off as so miserable and mean spirited by this point in the series. I can get people not liking Chloe but it's not a good thing when Timmy seems to hate her WORSE than the audience because it makes everyone come off as not even wanting to be around each other. tl;dr- wow, I forgot it got this bad. 🙂 Edit: I hate the way they designed Jigsaw Vicky. The point of the swirls was to be on the puppet's CHEEKS yet for some reason, they drew Vicky an extra set of cheeks that stick out of her face like warts, instead of drawing them on her ACTUAL CHEEKS. The joke still would have landed even if design perspective is flatter. They didn't have to draw her the way they did. =P
This. This is the epitome of everything wrong with FOP Season 10b. A double length slog that fills it with running gags, shoving in dad and Crocker, horrendous Flash animation, ignoring "Da Rules", and dated pop culture references. The fact that this is the final double length "episode" is just sad.
Nickelodeon is just like Mattel with how terrible they treat popular kids shows. Thomas was an example in that even though he the first 5 seasons were toward a younger age demographic, it wasn’t played down to kids and it was something kids and adults can enjoy. (Despite HiT Entertainment being the cause of decline in quality for Thomas, it was Mattel that were the final blows that killed Thomas.) Nickelodeon is basically the same with SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents. They let shows go on for too long, going against their creator’s words, and they make it specifically for babies, bland plots, character statuesque, and just everything looking so hideous with bright colors and excessive uses of animated expressions.
Certifiable Super Sitter was so atrocious that most people Vite it as the ABSOLUTE WORST episode of the entire show. Also Poof is my favorite character in this show lol.
thank you nickelodeon for literally never playing a single episode of the first 5 seasons of the fairly odd parents except for fairy idol (great episode btw) also a lot of bad things of this episode (The rules being basically nonexistent, a lot of characters being changed for the worse) is a running trend of season 10
as a flash animator, i actually sorta like flash animation, but i also like it when it has some frame by frame stuff in it occasionally along with the tweened animation
My problem with this show? The way it ended. The addition of a 10th season wasn't the problem, it was the fact that they just ended the show without a satisfying finale, seemingly out of nowhere. My thoughts on this episode? I enjoyed it. It was nice seeing Vicky make an appearance, though it seems like either Vicky's memory of Foop was erased or she simply forgot about him, but I still enjoyed watching this episode.
not every show needs a big finale, the episode that season 10 ended up (fancy shmancy) is a nice quaint little episode for the series to end on and glad to see that someone else enjoys this episode!

How even was there a fairy school? Poof was the first Fairy born in an actual decamillennium since Cosmo was the baby that caused the baby ban, and that was, as per his age, more than 10,000 years ago. Foop makes sense to exist, the whole "for every fairy there's an anti-fairy" but where tf did Sammy come from? Also, what's with all the "baby sniffing" in cartoons semi-lately? I had forgotten about it here, and found it weird how much they were doing it in Fionna and Cake, and I'm 99% sure there was some other show I saw that the characters sniffed babies.
I heard this season was animated in Flash, since I never saw it back then, I stopped alongside Sparky's inclusion And damn, it does look like it is flash
Animation major here! I could be wrong but looks like they switched to 2D rigged "puppet" animation where you basically tell the computer to move each body part rather than hand draw each frame. But the way they executed it is not great :( There's not a lot of movement and just a lot of squash and stretch to simulate more motion than there actually is. Basically they took the cheap and easy way out...
That’s sad to hear. Cutting costs is often necessary, especially in animation, but a lot of people outright hate this new style. I appreciate your insight!
Since I regrettably watched some of the later FOP episodes, I can kind of offer some information: Poof started talking prior to this, and he DID have a baby voice for a brief period of time before it just sort of became a raspier version of Timmy's voice. It was part of a special or something. Foop exists because of how Anti-Fairies work. He was born because all Fairies need an Anti-Fairy to keep balance. Foop is only there because Sammy is there, and apparently, they became friends after the special episode where Poof talked. Apparently, Sammy was a "bad boy", so Foop wanted to hang out with him. He and Poof are friends too, I think, so... Yeah. Sammy also isn't a fairy or something? That's all I know.

It's like Chloe was suppose to be the focus of a new Hartman show but they couldn't go past the "everyone loves her" schtick and shoehorned her into Fairly Oddparents.

I've always wondered if Chloe got fairy godparents because she's mentally ill and an overachiever and generally stressed and wants to please everyone. As a diagnosed person with OCD and anxiety, she reminds me a lot of myself when things start to go wrong in episodes and she just wants to fix everything. But at the same time...this was made by Butch Hartman, who isn't EXACTLY a mental health advocate, so it's probably a coincidence!
@@SupHapCak I remember when I used to watch his channel he heavily implied he had a huge hand in writing during the last season. Mainly because everyone quit except the main voice cast, like, 1 or 2 other writers, and a handful of artists. They were on their last legs.
Poof actually talked for the first time in season 9 and in that season he actually had a completely normal voice. I have no idea why they decided to give him the weird ass voice He has in season 10

Let’s be real. At this point, they stopped caring. Not just us in the audience, but even the writers no longer care considering that so many times now Cosmo and Wanda are just out in the open, interacting with other characters, and making zero effort to stay hidden.
4:43 Oh, no, they went to puppet animation. Puppet animation done well is a unique way to animate things that can't really be replicated outside the computer at high framerates without having to build your characters and avoid wrinkling them between frames. However, while it can be an expensive endeavor in the physical world- depending on the complexity of the character and how many unique poses you need- it is also EXTREMELY cheap to do on a computer, and if costs are cut enough, it can end up looking like...that. If the show had started out right around now with that artstyle and just started the series from square one like that, I don't think it would be bad, but to *change it out of nowhere...* dang, season 10 is NOT holding up.

Different kid, Different city, different characters, and different animation also the writing is so good I haven't watched Fairly OddParents in years and I haven't seen season 10 so I don't understand the criticism because I haven't seen that season but the writing is pretty good especially for the characters Cosmo is still really stupid but he's not annoying with it and Wanda isn't a nagging wife and she doesn't hate Cosmo she's almost as stupid as him and they are kind of romantic in the first episode it's so cute and the new kid Hazel is a good character.

The animation was great up to the first half of season 10, all done in traditional animation. For the last half of season 10, they animated it in flash...
I feel if the show was animated like this all along, it wouldn't be so bad. But because it wasn't, it's the equivalent subbing out the cheese and sauce of a pizza with cream and ketchup respectfulably
if I'm correct, 3 different people write an episode of FOP and then they try to mix all 3 scripts together. which is why there are so many inconsistencies

Poof and Foop were the only good additions to the show. After introducing Sparky it all went downhill with Chloe being the nail in the coffin.
I know some people don’t like Poof all that much. But Chloe definitely gets the most hate

99% sure Poof spoke for the first time way before this episode, I remember Poof having a voice similar to Timmy I think

So, humans see fairies casually (even if the humans won't be suspicious, it ruins what establishes the show), characters just... mashing together in meetups, the sheer need to add contrivances and coincidences, and the lack of structure in favor of just random humor.
I swear, at this point, a fan could write a much better story.
Chloe is not a bad character on her own. If she was a new girl that Timmy suddenly has a crush on and she learns about the Fairies hanging out with him it would be fine.
Her actually sharing the Fairies and seeing her in every episode onward was a bad call.
We had tootie, Chester, so much characters where they are on the waitlist for a godparent but then they drop Cloe on us and gives her the least horrible childhood ever then go "yep she deserves fairies more than these abused kids" when the worst thing she had before fairies is being lonely from being too perfect
The reason I hate this episode so much is because this is Vicky's last episode. This is the main villain's final hurrah and her final scene is of her getting concussed by a fucking kangaroo.
Her final scene is technically her getting blasted out of the house by Poof.
It’s also poof’s last episode, and his only purpose was to make random impressions of famous people.

Chloe seems to share a trend I notice with a lot of female characters (take note, I am a woman) and that there always seems to be this air of fear from the writers you can feel from them that they're utterly terrified of making female characters, for the lack of better terms, stupid. Okay, maybe not STUPID but in a way they seem scared to allow them to be just sort of likeable bratty yet the best female characters that I love EMBRACE that because they DO feel different and it's just a lot more fun to see characters that can take a few hits rather than the writer avoiding that to happen because they're scared they'll offend someone for allowing the comedy characters in the comedy shows to deal with comedic situations.
It's why I like Vicky and Tootie over Chloe. Vicky is evil to a comedic degree that you laugh at how outlandish her plans and chores are, all because she seriously wants to make Timmy miserable for NO REASON. And there's Tootie who is hyperactive, nerdy and oblivious but at the same time adorable, sweet and you want the best for her because after Vicky is done with Timmy, she takes her cruelty out on her. It's why I can get on the bandwagon of people who think she should have gotten to share fairies because it would have created a better dynamic; Timmy is terrified of Tootie because of how clingy she is but him having to learn more about her via thee Fairy Share would have been a perfect way to end the show and would have come full circle in a wonderful way as the original OYC shorts began with Timmy having to work with Tootie to reset the birthday party chaos and it ending with Cosmo and Wanda actually helping them become good friends would have been the topper.
Chloe....just doesn't cut it and it's because she's more or less an amalgamation of characters that are already there that serve their purpose. She's intelligent like AJ, has bad luck like Chester but also smiles through it like Tootie yet she really can't capture the charm of the three characters I mentioned on their own. It also doesn't help that Timmy comes off as so miserable and mean spirited by this point in the series. I can get people not liking Chloe but it's not a good thing when Timmy seems to hate her WORSE than the audience because it makes everyone come off as not even wanting to be around each other.
tl;dr- wow, I forgot it got this bad. 🙂
Edit: I hate the way they designed Jigsaw Vicky. The point of the swirls was to be on the puppet's CHEEKS yet for some reason, they drew Vicky an extra set of cheeks that stick out of her face like warts, instead of drawing them on her ACTUAL CHEEKS. The joke still would have landed even if design perspective is flatter. They didn't have to draw her the way they did. =P

A double length slog that fills it with running gags, shoving in dad and Crocker, horrendous Flash animation, ignoring "Da Rules", and dated pop culture references.
The fact that this is the final double length "episode" is just sad.

Nickelodeon is just like Mattel with how terrible they treat popular kids shows. Thomas was an example in that even though he the first 5 seasons were toward a younger age demographic, it wasn’t played down to kids and it was something kids and adults can enjoy. (Despite HiT Entertainment being the cause of decline in quality for Thomas, it was Mattel that were the final blows that killed Thomas.) Nickelodeon is basically the same with SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents. They let shows go on for too long, going against their creator’s words, and they make it specifically for babies, bland plots, character statuesque, and just everything looking so hideous with bright colors and excessive uses of animated expressions.

My problem with this show? The way it ended. The addition of a 10th season wasn't the problem, it was the fact that they just ended the show without a satisfying finale, seemingly out of nowhere.
My thoughts on this episode? I enjoyed it. It was nice seeing Vicky make an appearance, though it seems like either Vicky's memory of Foop was erased or she simply forgot about him, but I still enjoyed watching this episode.
not every show needs a big finale, the episode that season 10 ended up (fancy shmancy) is a nice quaint little episode for the series to end on

Foop makes sense to exist, the whole "for every fairy there's an anti-fairy" but where tf did Sammy come from?
Also, what's with all the "baby sniffing" in cartoons semi-lately? I had forgotten about it here, and found it weird how much they were doing it in Fionna and Cake, and I'm 99% sure there was some other show I saw that the characters sniffed babies.
I don't think there are other baby fairies in the school pretty sure the others are more like kids and not the same race as fairies

There was definitely no direction to this episode what so ever, it just feel like random stuff is happening all at once to fill in run time.

Animation major here! I could be wrong but looks like they switched to 2D rigged "puppet" animation where you basically tell the computer to move each body part rather than hand draw each frame. But the way they executed it is not great :(
There's not a lot of movement and just a lot of squash and stretch to simulate more motion than there actually is. Basically they took the cheap and easy way out...

Since I regrettably watched some of the later FOP episodes, I can kind of offer some information:
Poof started talking prior to this, and he DID have a baby voice for a brief period of time before it just sort of became a raspier version of Timmy's voice. It was part of a special or something.
Foop exists because of how Anti-Fairies work. He was born because all Fairies need an Anti-Fairy to keep balance.
Foop is only there because Sammy is there, and apparently, they became friends after the special episode where Poof talked. Apparently, Sammy was a "bad boy", so Foop wanted to hang out with him. He and Poof are friends too, I think, so... Yeah.
Sammy also isn't a fairy or something? That's all I know.
Just wondering, which episode is the episode where Poof learns to talk?

I've always wondered if Chloe got fairy godparents because she's mentally ill and an overachiever and generally stressed and wants to please everyone. As a diagnosed person with OCD and anxiety, she reminds me a lot of myself when things start to go wrong in episodes and she just wants to fix everything. But at the same time...this was made by Butch Hartman, who isn't EXACTLY a mental health advocate, so it's probably a coincidence!

4:43 Oh, no, they went to puppet animation. Puppet animation done well is a unique way to animate things that can't really be replicated outside the computer at high framerates without having to build your characters and avoid wrinkling them between frames. However, while it can be an expensive endeavor in the physical world- depending on the complexity of the character and how many unique poses you need- it is also EXTREMELY cheap to do on a computer, and if costs are cut enough, it can end up looking like...that. If the show had started out right around now with that artstyle and just started the series from square one like that, I don't think it would be bad, but to *change it out of nowhere...* dang, season 10 is NOT holding up.
This episode is what happens when the writers either stop caring or have no idea what they're doing.

Different kid, Different city, different characters, and different animation also the writing is so good I haven't watched Fairly OddParents in years and I haven't seen season 10 so I don't understand the criticism because I haven't seen that season but the writing is pretty good especially for the characters Cosmo is still really stupid but he's not annoying with it and Wanda isn't a nagging wife and she doesn't hate Cosmo she's almost as stupid as him and they are kind of romantic in the first episode it's so cute and the new kid Hazel is a good character.
And Cosmo also has smart moments in the new show
