Why do I enjoy the channel? Firstly, ever since I saw "The Knowledge" movie by Thames TV in the 70s I've had a huge respect for the London cab trade. Secondly you're an excellent presenter. Both boxes ticked. Great channel.
Your other Taxi Driver friend Tom with his UA-cam channel Tom the Taxi driver has slowed down on the number of shift uploads he has been doing recently i would love to see you do more of these day in the life shift videos as 2024 goes by if you can fit them in please?
i would love to see you drive from your home in West London at the start of the day towards Heathrow Airport, unless you get a job from any of the hotels in Central London going to Heathrow regardless of which Terminal? @@Marktaxi
I love watching these videos. I used to work in London near Gloucester road but now based in Edinburgh, so it's nice watching you drive around familiar places reminds me of home
Great video as always Mark, I like your videos about little known areas and stories of London, and the videos about being a taxi driver. I liked the video about the taxi factory too. Your videos are like little documentaries and you tell everything with a pleasant style. I watch you from Italy. For a moment in my life as teen I wanted to be a taxi driver, but as adult I chosed journalism. Keep up your good work and I wish you more and more success. :)

Great channel mark i really enjoy watching it, i was going to do the knowledge back in 2007 then the credit crunch hit in 2008 which stopped me in my tracks I'm 61 and a hgv driver so i will carry this on until retirement good luck.
Enjoy your channel in general. But if you want suggestions... historical, and unique sites that are generally overlooked by the average tourists. Cheers

Would love to have been a LT bus driver and recently got the license but live to far away from London. Keep up the good work and love how you reel off start and stop routes in London.

hi mark januarys a long mouth out there .. kipper season but i was watching this last night at around 630 and guess what you gave me karma my 1st job was a delivery / lots of big parcels so that went a tenner extra £32 job plus it was a bit of a workout loading and unloading the cases got me out my chair lol .. i find if your positive as you are you will more often than not hit your target instead of the rest of them sitting around on the ranks … cheers nickynoo

I also like the videos you make about colourful London characters - the glitzy, glam bicycle man, the Hammersmith bridge hero, the Rorke's Drift taxi driver. Do people still tip?
I think whatever content you decide on it will be awesome. Your presentation skills are top level. I did have a question though. I noticed when you left home you said the word “apartment” rather than “ my flat”. Is there a difference between the two terms or are they interchangeable? Americans don’t use the term “flat” for a residence and I have to admit I’ve never heard a person in the UK use the word apartment. The difference between American and British versions of English is interesting. Just curious.
It’s very strange isn’t it I think it’s just because most people in this building refer to them as apartments and it’s prompted me too, at least for now. I’ll be mixing up my content this year it won’t all be taxi orientated. Have a good one about London phone boxes coming up. Hope you’re well love the natural history vid!
Lets see some videos of none paying customers or runners. Maybe get a bodycam set up to share the experience you chasing the scrubbers through the streets of Soho.
