Good man yourself, excellent storytelling this is! Thank you! I fell for the Sigma fm with 45 mm 2.8 DG DN Contemporary and I have ordered the brandnew 24 mm 3.5 DG DN Contemporary. This is all I need to be perfectly happy.
To date I'm still in love with my Lumix S1... the the 45mm Contemporary lens is so so so good, cant wait for the 24 and the 65mm, i think the 35 would bea bit redundant for me since i already have the 45mm.
hi , very nice review.. i am planning to buy this lens for panasonic S5... some few reviewers said that AF is inconsistent in L mount bodies..is that true ? mostly my purpose is for marriage or event photography only for people... and i will use single AF mode only... no continuous or eye focus or any tracking.. only single focus... is there any issues with single focusing accuracy ? pls help .. thanks.
Definitly considering these lenses! Perfect for videography! Also I think the snow overlay is in slow motion so it looks a bit jarring over your 24p footage!
wow. that clip looks beautiful, will definitely check out both 35 and 65. I just sold my Sigma 35mm 1.2 for sony, beautiful IQ but it was just too heavy and huge. Congrats on your new home, looks like paradise. Cheers!
love the 35 F2 - i had the sony 35 1.8 for short time - i was not happy with the build/feel quality. i am sure the sigma feels solid and great. "sadly" i have the Zeiss Batis 40 F2 and i will not change it because i love it.

What about the autofocus
wow, the footage is gorgeous! and the stills are very impressive too.
thanks for sharing!
Thank YOU!
Do you think that having those 2 optics 35 and 65 would be enough to cover most open and indoor environments?
hey steve!! wait... after all that time... you did it!!! its a 4k video !! :) :) yeaa!!!! thanks so much and keep on the good work. happy new year!
Am very curious how these render and autofocus compared with the upcoming Panasonic f1.8 primes. They sure look good on the S5.

Hi! What do u use to film this videos on UA-cam, is it like a 20mm?
Your Sigma fp is not here anymore? Those lenses would be nice on it.
How do they compare with the equivalent Leica lenses?
Definitly considering these lenses! Perfect for videography!
Also I think the snow overlay is in slow motion so it looks a bit jarring over your 24p footage!
I'll definitely get one for my Lumix S1, I need a weather sealed prime lens!
Thank you for the review!
Thank you for sharing, but I do not know how these lense work with Leica SL2-S.

How is the AF speed on this lenses with S5 ?
wow that lens is sharp. could u do a focus test of 35mm?
We love you too. Thanks for the presentation
Thanks for the review. Birds, I anticipated seeing birds in your videos, given your new property....keep the vids coming.
You think these lenses are good for narrative work vs art series?
Sure I do not see why not. Thank you.
I wish these had optical stabilization.. it would make cameras like the FX6 and FX9 so much friendlier to work with.
It would be genius if they included a small grab on the front of the cap so you can use it with a hood ;)
Caps are genius.
Compact: check.
Performance: check.
Value: check.
Design: check.
Made in Japan: check.
Checks all of the right boxes!
just buy thing lens today to go with my sony a7r4
These would look beautiful with the Leicas TL/CL
1 year and still no sign of the 50 f2 of this i serie....
So, how do the Sigma 65mm compare to Voigtländer 65mm 2.0 APO Lanthar for high resolution sensor cameras ?
Well, this has auto focus for starters. The Voigtlander 65 APO is nice but if I shot L mount, and had a choice I would take the Sigma.
I need Lumix s5 n sigma 35mm who is with me?
I have a S5 and am looking at getting the 35mm f/2.
that colour fringing
