Great! I needed to see the seat in place. Good video this helps me with my install. I don’t have the rails so I’m probably going to mount a little different but getting to see the seat in the back and working gives me the confidence to move forward on this project. Thank you.
I really like the 3rd row seat selection. How concerned are you with the trail rail system’s ability to secure the weight of the seats/people? How has it held up so far? I’d feel more confident in using this rail system if it was made of steel rather than aluminum and tied into the frame.
Really nice!!! You sir just got a new subscriber!! I’m looking to get my first jeep but with all my kids I’d need to add a third row. Very helpful thank you! Have you looked into getting the rollover bars to put on the back for added protection for the kids?
I was trying to figure out how you welded the hitches to the bar with the sit in it assuming both inches face each other; however, I am seeing both of your hitches point towards the same side. isn't that risky?.... the seat can break lose if the car flips I think ....
I like the idea it just makes me nervous like if someone was to hit the back of your car whoever is back there will be seriously hurt more than they probably would in the second row
Did the wrangler come with that interior color or aftermarket? Btw the 3rd is super. Just purchase a 2021 wrangler JL 4dr. Thinking of adding a 3rd for the summer with the top off.
Are you planning on building / adding some additional roll cage in the Jeep now? That roll bar that comes from the factory is obviously not going to protect anyone sitting behind the second row. I wonder who makes one that would actually hold up in a rollover.
No I won’t be adding any extra roll protection I’ve have 37 inch spare tire mounted on the back that will help. The existing roll bar will actually has enough protection. I also have no intent of rolling my Jeep.😉 Thanks for the comment.
Life on the Ranch To anyone reading this reply who is considering adding the third row, just be aware that he may only be driving on flat dirt paths at very low speeds with no oncoming traffic or intersections when using that third row. This is not the way most of us use Jeeps on a daily basis so take your particular use case into account when assessing the risk of what is always the most statistically fatal accident we can have in a Jeep. ua-cam.com/video/pSXGnDUss98/v-deo.html
EoWKen the third row seat is not being used while rock crawling. And the top is always on we have seat belts for security. I would not ever put anyone in it if I didn’t consider it safe. Also in regards to your comment most aftermarket stuff you put on any vehicle would be considered “not safe.” Again thanks for your interest, if I find something to to remedy your concerns I will let you know. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me and my family.
Life on the Ranch Oh no worries, I absolutely understood what you meant and I am glad we live in a free country where we can decide what is safe and isn’t safe based on how we use it. Not trying to virtue signal you doing anything that you shouldn’t. I was just concerned that people like those who drive on the highway and in regular traffic might read your comment and think that things like the spare tire helping in a rollover applies to high speed rollovers as well. And yes, you are absolutely correct that all those ‘sport bars’ are just for looks and really don’t protect anyone. Indeed nice looking family. Enjoy!
Depends on what you consider “legal.” My recollection anything after market is not tested on the vehicle therefore it could be considered untested with the vehicle, is it safe? …….
That kid is going places in life his dad raised him proper

I have not it’s never been a permanent fixture we take it in and out as needed. However it does look like it belongs
Very good job
Thank you we appreciate the comment.

What are the measurements for that seat
Where can I get the brackets that are factory?
What bolts did you use to put in the rail slots ? 3:10
Nice

Get a steel bumper
You can get steel bumper and you can also get a steel tire cargo rack
It's not like minivans offer much protection on third tow neither
Will it fit the new bronco?
Can you send measurements?
Dope 👍

Did the sear come with seat belts or did you have to order them separate? If so do you have a link for them?
No they did not come with seatbelts, I ordered them off Amazon I will see if I can find the link.
Thumbs up

Maintain low speeds with all of that weight in the rear. Have fun , And stay safe.

Depends on what you consider “legal.” My recollection anything after market is not tested on the vehicle therefore it could be considered untested with the vehicle, is it safe? …….
