- A tour of the Sweetest Place on Earth. I did catch a mistake: the Storm Runner coaster is launched hydraulically, not magnetically.
If you'd like to read more about the park, a full trip report can be found here: www.karenandjay.com/trips/trip...
Visited Hersheypark a month ago. It's an awesome place and it's now one of my favorite parks. : )
Ctha Man is it good park to take a 7 year old and a 1.5 year old?
Coffee Chai And Makeup Yep
Ctha Man i
I grew up in Maryland but most of my dad's side of the family was in the St. Clair, Allentown area. Growing up I pretty much went to Hershey Park every year on the way to Nana's house. Now she's gone, my dad is gone, I left the country in 2003 for a homestay program not considering that I might not come back. I really enjoyed seeing the video of Hershey Park, I've ridden The Comet more times than I can count, but it makes me sad to think I may never get the chance to go there again.
you made me night with this video, my grandparents and I use to visit Hershey every summer and I haven't seen it since my grandpa died. thank you! (:
Angel Sera not to be rude but it would be "my grandparents and I used to "
Angel Sera it would also be "my night"
Paul Hogan no I don't think I am last time I checked I was a mother fuckin person
Rude much
You are a fucking loser. no one likes your stupid comments and no one likes you. gargle turds fuck face.
I'm going to Hersheypark that's why I'm watching this video

Zoie Rackley you went right as corona hit! So lucky
Man, the old Hershey with the old entrance😊
Haven't been to the park in years and years--so good to see how it has changed. Beautiful, vivid colors. Well done. Thanks for making this.
Wow, that place is huge. Much larger than Kennywood Park.
Do you live in Pittsburgh too?
GUS ! I live on the other side of Pennsylvania
Wish Kennywood was much bigger
one of my favorite park layouts, so much to do! creating your own chocolate bar is one of them 🍫 😊
Skyrush is amazing and being on the edge seat makes it even better.
Nice video. Thanks for uploading. Really brought back some fond memories of working there as a teenager. It's changed quite a bit in the last 25 years.
I don't know if anyone cares, but the carousel at 3:33 is playing "over there" a song dating back to the first world war!
Sir Catball IV 1/2 beautiful Thanks.
Sir Catball IV 1/2 that's cool
Sir Catball IV 1/2 i
Sir Catball IV 1/2 how old r u
I remember that song being sung in an episode of "The Golden Girls". Lol!
Planning a summer trip almost bought tickets for dorneypark but too many bad reviews this video definitely changed my mind. I rather drive a bit longer and go to Herseypark. Didn't realize how beautiful it is & it looks exactly like what I had in mind for fun & relaxation!. We hope to have a great time . Thank U for your post:)
This is what makes amusements so great and fun to enjoy, the exercise of walking, eating, drinking, riding, while sightseeing a part being in the park, whenever or wherever you go to amusements that joy of being there, the excitement of enjoying it all.
I really enjoy your walkthroughs to these amusement parks, Jay. They are a lot of fun to watch. Very helpful information as well.
I was literally there today but I love seeing the old entrance and how it’s changed!
I miss that old entrance so much. Felt less barren and hot.
I went here in 2019! And it was a blast!!😁❤️🎢
Hershey Park ALWAYS have been one of my favorite amusement parks!😊❤️
FIRST TIME Riding:
•Great Bear
• SideWinder
•Lightning Racer
And I also rode Hershey Park tallest
drop tower ride called...
“Hershey’s Tower”
(Hershey’s Triple Tower)
I LOVED them all!!😊❤️
I love this Place ❤
Hershey Park, such a wonderful amusement park. If you live close by I really recommend getting a season pass it provides free parking, 24/7 discounts on food and a happy, little zoo to settle in.
I want to go back to this park. I was here with family in '85. Would love to see the park now.
It's not the museum. It's Hershey's Chocolate World.
This gives me many many memories from the last time I went to Hershey Park. Going this Sunday, thank you! ❤
Love your walkthroughs! I'm so glad it's summer so we get more of these videos. I went to Hershey last summer and it was quite fun. Thank you and keep it up!
Thanks, Matt! There are a few more on the way.
I'm going next week for a family vacation, can't wait!! :)
Thanks for the video! I was curious about going here! I will definitely add it to my list!
I love how at 15:30 - 15:32 That there are teenagers beating each other with a stuffed frog
My last time at Hershey Park was on Sunday April 29th, 2001 for Shiply Play Day. I was however at Zoo America in the early 2010's as a chaperone on my youngest son's field trip. So I did get to look over and see the Falcon ride from across the street. Now I heard the Falcon is gone and replaced with three new rides.
I haven't been here since I was 8 years old and 4 feet tall. Nice to see how it both has and has not changed. Going again for the first time in 9 years next month and I am really excited to ride all of the coasters I could not last time.
Parents use to bring my brother & I lots of times to Hershey.. Favorite rides were the comet & The Tobaggan.. The tobaggan most prolly don't even remember, been a long time.. Funniest part was everything time we went we always got rained on.. They'd close the park, we do lunch & change clothes.. Soon as they opened back up, we were back at it.. Such Great Memories will never be forgotten!!!
this is my home park and we always go every week. The season pass is worth it. There is great food and rides.
Thank you for a virtual tour of Hersheypark. This is my home park, as has a great collection of rides. My top 3 is Skyrush, Great Bear and Storm Runner. After you passed Lightning Racer, the water structure was actually East Coast Wateworks. Shoreline Sprayground is further back in the Boardwalk.
This gave me nostalgia.
This made me happy because i am going to the park for my feild trip!
Great video. Awfully large park. I live by Pittsburgh & I'll be 55 next month & one day me, wife 2 girls want to go to Hershey pa. This is a guide for us. Thank you very much
Melvin
Bro I grew up coming to Hershey as a kid, it was the closest park to us here in Baltimore, but I haven’t been back in maybe atleast 10 years and this video just gave me lotta memories! Great vid!!
I remember coming here last summer. It was really fun and nice. I wanna go again.
Got a Hershey's comercial before this lol
Sammi I JUST WENT TODAY 😃
"Look a chocolate house!"
"Look a chocolate doorknob!"
*Points at black man*
"Look a chocolate man!
Like if you know where that's from
I don't
I’m going here with my middle school for Music in the Park and this was a great guide
I realllly enjoy your walk through videos! Very informative and I must admit very helpful! Went to Waldameer for the first time last week and I watched your video for research, super helpful!
Thanks!
i’m watching so many of these to get myself excited for a field trip which is in 3 months :,)
I visited the park yesterday and I love it
My home park (I live closer to Dutch Wonderland, but since it's more of a children's park, I consider Hershey my home.)
HCPentz who cares
coolgamer17 Somebody obviously did since his comment has 5 likes.
As of 2020, many of the Tudor style buildings in the front were torn down and replaced with a bigger, newer front gate, and a new turned area called Chocolate Town.
Yeah, I noticed that. That's why I came back to this video to specifically remind myself of the old layout for nostalgia purposes. The Carousel isn't even in the same location anymore.
I’m going here for my first time next weekend! I’m going to see Why Don’t We in concert! I’m sooo excited!
Im going this saturday. Cant wait. Well friday with the preview plan and staying at hershey lodge.
Nice tour.
Great video, of a great park!
Second video I watched of yours. You show more of shops to visit and landscapes than rides in operation.
Hoping to visit Philly this December! Hoping to go to Hershey!
Thank you,you have shown me more about hershey park thank amyone has ever taken the time to show thank you very much, hope to one of these years get to visit hershey penn.,maybe who knows.🤔😃
Great video! But you'll still want to visit in person. Thanks for sharing!
Last time I was there was in 2017. I really want to go back
Me too!
Just a heads up that it looks almost nothing like this now. They had a total redesign in 2020.
This video was very helpful because I am going to Hershey park sometime in July 2018
Cant wait to go on may 12th
I miss the old entrance. They completely re-did the entrance
Haven't been there in several years, fun park!
we go here evrey year!
Love love love that you talk about the vegetarian options! Thanks for this video! I am Hershey Park Happy!
You're welcome! I'm glad that so many parks now are offering alternatives to standard park food.
I have passes and I'm really close so I always love to come here.
Hi Jay thanks for the cool walk in the park. Visiting here in October, how is the weather and the crowds at that time?
This is great! It is funny to see how many people are looking at you when you are walking by them probably thinking what is this guy doing? Did you actually say anything while you were shooting or did you do voice over?
Thanks, This'll help a Lot. I'm going on a field trip the Hershey Park on the 29th. We've been to the Chocolate factory and zoo in like, 4th or 5th Grade, but never went to the Park itself.
Great park…always nice be clean
Sidewinder was the first big coaster I could ride. I’d love to go back to Hershey Park, but my home park now is Kings Dominion.
That’s not a bad park to call home.
great guide since i'm am going there on a school trip
Haxaw how much was the ticket
Haxaw lucky
I'm going there next month
I've just discovered your walk-through videos and am really enjoying them. One note on your statement about PA once having had the most amusement parks of any state. While it may not have as many as it once did, it does have the highest concentration of Golden Age parks that are still operating with nine parks that opened in the 1920's or earlier, six of which opened before 1900. It's sort of a Mecca for lovers of classic traditional amusement parks.
... Including one park I definitely plan to visit again: Lakemont, with the amazing Leap the Dips!
I’ll be going here next month for 4 days can’t wait lol
Hersheypark is definitely worth the trip from whatever part of the world your at trust me, even tho it’s in the middle of no where literally the middle of nowhere
It looks very clean
Ascension 2000 It is.
Thank you soo much !

I go to hershey on thursday i am so excited
It sucks they removed the Roller Soaker ride. I really wanted to ride it in June (when I'll be going). Totally bummed right now. :(
cje24576 You're not missing anything. I waited for an hour to get on, and it wasn't even worth that. It was one of the most boring rides I've ever been on. Completely forgettable.
Saaaaame
Its crazy how so much has changed
I hope to get back there next year. It looks very different, even from a few years ago.
@@jayducharme Yeah I am going tomorrow so I watched it so I could see what it looked like then
@@jayducharmeHave you gone back yet?
@@Maw0 Yes. I posted the new walk-thru a few days ago.
@@jayducharme That's insane actually haha. I went back in April, and I just came back from Dollywood this week.
I have. A season pass and I love it bc I met a celebrity there and it was amazing I met him at bblz
Going hopefully in a few weeks #blessup
can't wait i leave in 13 day for a week stay
its my first time can't wait to go
There is so many amusement parks I've always wanted to go to but I can't because I live in Colorado which the only park we have is Elitch Gardens which is quite small according to most amusement parks. All the coasters are copies of other rides (boomerang, Vekoma slc, etc) There is only one coaster in Elitch Gardens that is sort of iconic which is Mr. Twister, but that was moved to knoebels and renamed twister, and they made twister II at elitches. So I would love to go to other amusement parks that are more famous
You have Lakeside, which is one of my all-time favorite amusement parks! The Cyclone there is a great ride.
Jay Ducharme Oh yeah that's right! I went to Lakeside once or twice but I was young so I don't remember it, I never went on Cyclone, maybe I should head back soon and try it out.
Definitely. There are lots of amazing old rides there, and the park looks incredible at night. I have videos of the art deco train and the Cyclone:
ua-cam.com/video/sbSCcWdgq4M/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/ZIjF3lFweDo/v-deo.html
I'm dying to go there .
Nice video.
I might be going here next Sunday!!!☺😃😃😮
Omg im coming Saturday any more advice
July 8 can't come soon enough.....it's been 7 years since I was last here.
Now I’m going to hersheypark again tomorrow
In 11 days I'm gonna be there for my first time. Thats why I'm watching this video lol. Couldn't resist
I love going there I’m really lucky I live only an hour away from it.
Hey Jay I have a few questions. First, I know you record your videos with the IPhone SE, but how do you actually edit the videos? Also could you do one of these for Dorney Park, or some other six flags/cedar fair parks? Thank you!
The videos are edited in Final Cut Pro X. Dorney is on my list, along with many other parks.
ok thanks! what do you like better storm runner or Fahrenheit, I can't make up my mind!
Storm Runner nearly gave me a concussion, and I haven't ridden Fahrenheit. So currently, neither. I think my favorite ride in the park is Lightning Racer, followed by the Comet.
wait how did storm runner almost give you a concussion?
When I rode it, the ride shook violently in several of the element and my head was getting whacked against the headrest.
As of summer 2020 the park entrance (00:10-02:42) is completely different. I miss this old entrance. It had more charm. I do like the new Candymonium coaster though.
*I fuckin hated the school, but i miss the park and going through the town on day\weekend vists*
i'm going to hershey park too
I love hershey Park it very fun
I've Never Been There Before!
Hersheypark is my home park and can you do a walk thru at Hersheypark in 2020
I would love to, whenever this pandemic lifts. Candymonium looks fantastic!
I’m going there on a band trip and I forget what it was like
