My family took me to Hershey park since the late 70s. I love to see the changes, in the hershey tour. It changes every few years. The worse was the ROBOT years... anyway now I take my family every year. I highly recommend the winter to go! The lights and the sights is UNREAL!
In the early 1970's I worked for the Elizabethtown Chronicle. I was on the last public tour of the real plant and the first tour of the Chocolate World exhibit. Nice to relieve the experience.
lol me and my friends went on that ride twice to dry off. We were just in hershey and it was pouring rain and it was freezing and cold and fun! we rode rides while it was raining then we got all wet. it was FUN!
Heehee - my mom and i get on at least 3 times. The first time, when they take you pix at the end, we smile. Second time, we pretend to be asleep, and third time, we raise our arms and pretend to scream like its a roller coaster. It's SO much fun! :~)
I remember riding it when it was this way. I've been on it, since then, in 2019 and 2020, and that's how I know that it has changed, in quite a few ways, since this video was recorded. You obviously downloaded the video the day after you recorded it.
omg i cant wait tell tommorw i am 5th grade and in our school its a tredetion to do this every year like a reward for going to 6th aka middle shcool and its tommorw and we ride there on a charter bus cant wait !!!!!
4:53 It smells sooooooo good in there. I would like it better if the cows didn't sing Hershey's milk chocolate over and over on that ride 'cause after a while it gets stuck in your head. All and all the tour is awesome! Especially at the end when you see all of Hershey's products makes me hungry...lol.
@Rollercoaster22 I know it feels sooo good after being outside in the cold, if you put your hand out of the car right by the vent it feels soooo good in there! I went at Christmas time and it was well worth the visit.
I dont know why but when I was little, I was always afraid of the singing cows, because I thought they where real, or something like that (btw I was 6 years old when I was afraid of them)
You know that some of you said that it wouldn't be complete without having a chocolate bar...well I've got an idea if you have any Hershey's chocolate bars in your house for eat some when the video is done! Like right now I'm going to go eat a milk chocolate bar and a Kit Kat Bar! :P
I last visited Hershey Park in 2001 and I don't remember these cows. When were they added? They kinda ruin it. At least they have authentic Central PA accents, though.
This ride stinks since they added the cows...each time they've re-done/upgraded this ride were failures...they never should've changed so radically from the original ride...adding robots the first time and singing cows this time were bad ideas...
Thanks so much for posting the entire ride. I rode this back in 1975, ....and it has been remodeled quite a bit since then.
been on it over 20 times. It never gets old!
i love this ride its probably my favorite thing about hershey

The only place where you can smell the chocolate is here in the factory in my opinion.
