A tour of this Saco, Maine, amusement park If you'd like to read more about the park, a full trip report can be found here: www.karenandjay.com/trips/trip...
What a beautiful, nice, family-friendly park. Very underrated. It seems like it is always the small, family owned parks that always have the best landscaping.
Very informative video for those that haven't been to the park before. The Haunted Mansion was actually used for practice by the Saco Fire Department, and burned down in 1996. That building with the stone front used to be an arcade and sold the tickets to the Haunted Mansion. The entrance gate was nearby and was followed by a long narrow pathway to a cemetery and the house next to it. I remember seeing children and grown women coming out crying. There is a website, www.thehauntedmansion.org which is dedicated to the former attraction.
I went there last summer. Favorite rides: Teacups, Tilt-A-Whirl, Astrophere, Carousels and Go-Karts. It was 90 degrees the day we went so spent a lot of time in the pool as well!
I go here every year with my cousins and it's so much fun. The park seems small but if it's a hot day then a few hours in the waterpark is always fun!!
Oh! I am sorry I am just now seeing this. The answer to that(to the best of my ability) is depending on what your taste is like. The park, as the suggested name of it, is just about all water rides/attractions. Along with that, though, has minigolf and Go Carts, which makes the park defintely better. It is also a pretty small park, maybe a little smaller than Water Country(idk if you have ever been, just the best comparrasin that I have) If you want a little more info, here is a link to the website www.aquabogganwaterpark.com/
I grew up in Orlando, FL but every summer my wonderful grandparents (My Deadbeat Fathers Parents. He took off on my Mother and I when I was 5 months old.) Yet Mimi and Pepe Gagne (Dad's Parents) "Lucien & Marie Gagne of Westbrook" made sure I knew where my Mainer blood came from. Fuck you Massholes!! Mainers are wicked AWesome. Any ways the highlights of each trip included Bar Harbor (pronounced "bah-ha-bar" in MainEnglish), The Clam Bake, digging for steamers "Steamazzzh in MainEnglish", getting cheap "Lobstahhh" at the Dock, Swimming, Boating, Camping, getting wicked fucked up & trying to score with a local chick at Lake Sebago, getting in a Bar "Bahhh" fight in South Portland, trying to find Stephen King, and of course FunTown. I miss you Mainers

Yes, great landscaping. But it needs a power ride, to be highly rated for adults.
not underrated, its just less crowded on this video because its not sunny out
