With the mild elements, the track running through the loop, and the tunnel this looks like a perfect first loop to take on for a future enthusiast.
Was my first coaster!
when i was in line for this, there was this kid who was freaking out and terrified out of his mind sitting in the back row with his mom. it got so bad that one of the employees asked if he wanted to get off but his mom said it was okay lol
i didn't get a chance to see what ended up happening since i was on the train after them, but I hope he got over his fears and had a great time!
This was the coaster I took on to get my friend over their fear of going upside down on coasters. The fact there is just a single one makes it an easier pill to swallow. They love roller coasters now.
Was also my first I’m new this year I’m trying great bear
That flyby with Great Bear was cool lol
The timing 🙌
Best parts of the video
I like the one at 0:50-0:51
you'd think that with a name like "sooperdooperlooper" there'd be more than one loop
That’s what I was thinking
Lmaooo
It’s because this was the first looping coaster on the east coast. Not many people had perfected them yet
@@lukepasley2650 ohhh ok. thanks for explaining it makes more sense now, though my point still stands
@@lukepasley2650the second in the world, to expand on this.
It’s cool how this roller coaster often uses the terrain
This was my very first roller coaster ever as a kid. Memories
To everyone complaining about the name and how it only has one loop: The Sooperdooperlooper was the first of it's kind, a looping coaster, on the entire East Coast of the US, when it was introduced in 1977. That was a huge deal back then, hence the name. A Schwarzkopf classic and a Hersheypark staple.❤
I had no idea they repainted the Loop White, but I think it's pretty cool that they did
Frrr that’s insane
That was awesome the flyby of Great Bear!!! Both Looper and Great Bear are my favorites with the addition to Candymonium! Candy and Looper have the best night rides.
You gotta love how intense Schwarzkopf loops are. Yeah there’s only one of them, but you only need one to get a taste of some high Gs and that signature Schwarzkopf style. Good stuff
I've always loved this one. Simple, not too crazy, but it's smooth, has nice speed and is great fun. People hate on it sometimes because it's not that wild, but it's a classic IMO.
Love this ride
I remember going on this as a little kid and it was my first roller-coaster ride.
Cool ride!
I just went on this a few days ago. I have no regrets
Must be a kid friendly or family coaster. Ok, nice.
I enjoyed the flyby
You gotta love how goofy that name sounds.
I was so scared when I got on it I couldn’t scream 💀
bro i visiited pa and rode this, ITS ONLY A LAP BAR
I bean on it 2 years ago
I feel like the aspect ratio is stretched out
This is a good coaster but how on Earth did this roller coaster get the name "Sooperdooperlooper"? I have seen P.O.V.s of roller coasters that either have more intense loops or have more than one loop.
It was the first looping coaster on the East Coast, a huge ordeal in 1977.
What would the best loop coaster for a beginner?
Anything like this
The Smiler lol
this one is perfect because it’s just one loop and the rest of the ride is very tame
@@katmcvey7927 alright, thanks!
my first loop was great bear
The ride doesn’t look to exciting. Is it a kind of family coaster with a loop?
It's a classic ride from 1977, the oldest looping coaster on the East Coast actually. Huge ordeal when it opened.

I was so disappointed when I got off this today, I was expecting more that just one loop
Just one loop hmmm…
1st
This is to scary for me, something more like the smiler is more my stule
This is a joke right?

It only had 1 loop that is so boring. Also anybody would’ve been able to build that in 1 minute. It didn’t even do nothing most of the time when I go to Hershey Park I’m not going on that thing. Even a 5 year old would handle that.
It’s a family thrill coaster? Also it was the first looping coaster on the east coast. It wasn’t designed to be “rip your face off intense”. It’s not boring, just not a high thrill coaster..
