CK, add the smaller doil fins on your motor and it will stop your proposing problem and help gas mileage. Will not slow your speed down.I installed one on my alumacraft 1756 and helped tremendously. Be sure and get the smaller set that is made for up to 75 hp I think.Yuo wont be sorry!Purchased mine at Academy outdoors!
Once it's starts bouncing you went to far trim it back down a touch where ever it smooths out is your sweet spot

I try to trim the porousing to make it a smoother ride.
That's pretty fast.
I ran a Merc 50 on a 16ft Lund Alaskan and could get about 32 mph top speed
Man that thing is quiet, when you first started it I thought it stalled.
Them 4 stroke mercy are real quite right.
judging by how much it porpoises, its not meant to go that fast..
Because it wasn't trimmed properly. It's not all the way down or porpoising. Find that sweet spot!
