The thing about dual brake levers, that I've learned from motorcycles, is you need to adjust each brake to only give you the maximum braking you want while the lever is fully engaged. Most of the braking happens in the front, you want the back brake to never lock up. So adjust it to slow the wheel down without locking it up
A cheap roll of 'Plumbers Tape'will allow you to cut your own straps, and solidify the exhaust pipe.Looks Great,BTW,and sound is good too.Not annoyingly loud.
A good silencer I use is the stock exhaust. Cut the manifold off, heat what’s left up til red and bend to how you want it. I use a rag joint bolt and nut to hold on to the exhaust
Hi been watching for a few weeks used all of your info thanks ..... I live in Ireland at sea leval just wanted to know what jet to use iv them coming in the post thanks con
Stock jet should work well at sea level. You may see more power by opening up the air box a bit, or adding a cone ari filter. For jetting you will first want to learn how to read your spark plug, and how to do a plug chop. This will help tell you if you need to go fatter, or thinner on the jet.

I ended up going with a dual brake lever on my second build, I adjusted the brake bias directly at the calipers. So with the same amount of pressure I'm getting more bite on the rear than the front, still not as good as 2 independent brakes, but it works...
Find a person who can weld a tab on the pipe to help support it. Should be one at your work! I agree those bars were the first part trashed, next the standard pedals.
i have the exact cranbrook, i put mountain bike/street hybrid tires on it and took the fenders off, i think if you're willing beat the frame so the front mount will fit its the best choice, its cheap, you don't feel bad beating it to make something fit, and you can tamper with it without too many issues. and instead of changing the handle bars i just tilted them backwards and it has an old cafe racer vibe now
I used to install fiberglass insulation. I recommend that you never do that indoors. That stuff gets everywhere and it's extremely difficult to get rid of. When I quit my job doing the insulation, fiberglass was in my car and in ALL of my clothes for at least 3 months. If you have sudden attacks of itchiness over the next 3 weeks, that's the fiberglass.
I have set up the rear brake to engage first with the dual brake lever. Over the years of over the bars experiences I had learned to apply the rear brake first and stronger.
I hate the beach cruiser handles bars too a free simple solution to that I took and cut about half way through on the front side of the bar bent it forward then welded back where I cut straightening them out a lot, of course only cheap if you already have a welder.
Spent 2020 lockdown watching all your videos, inspired me to do my first build on a Walmart op roller cruiser I've had in the garage for 5+ years, I chose the motoose one piece, mild porting, nz clone with a silencer, very happy for 60 days as a daily rider to work. I decided to re- ring it, mildly re-broke in and it really hooked up with the pipe, great low to mids but a week later it falls on it's face after 1/2-3/4 throttle. Still noodling this issue out, seems it wants a larger than stock jet as the needle in a richer position improves it slightly hmmm?
I have not tried it yet so I can't say sorry. On this bike I'm using a quill adapter (linked in the disco) that allows you to use more modern steams inside of the threaded head set.
Maybe it's both the velosity stack, the silencer, and the new style carb or maybe one or the other but that bike seems to run really well! Not all of the normal popping and such! At least on vidio it seems to be better! As towards supporting the pipe! Back by the rear brake I would use a bracket back there!

Not at this performance level. The pipe doesn't do much more than a stock pipe with cap removed. If it was an optimized set-up, you would feel a slight difference. You will only notice changes once the exhaust is close to optimal for the engine.

The new bars are WAY too low. They need several inches more rise to them, and some pullback, so you can sit upright on the seat, not all hunched over. You can likely find something that will fit the stock stem. Living in the AZ desert, I have absolutely no use for fenders. No rain here. Cutting a silencer in half makes no sense. Where I live, most motorized bike riders wind up getting into trouble because of how noisy their bikes are. Without the noise, they would have gone unnoticed. I noticed you have an engine mounted chain tensioner, which is an absolute necessity if you don't want your bike to kill you. A NON rag joint clamshell rear sprocket mount is also a necessity. Oh, and PA LEASE get rid of those reflectors in the wheels.

I love your vids but gas bike disc is only way to go if you ever tried to brake in the rain you understand with that said i know its about cheap build but if you go fast over 15 mph you must stop that fast
I also like 24 mm flat side its harder to tune being bigger but once you get it tuned its the way to go. I run a reed valve with small window and trench and boost port i hit 34mph with 44 spocket. Alot of hills where i live and im heavy set lol but 10000 rpm work for me yes no stock crank will live that way. My crank is 3 days in the making make jigs to true and bal. to 60% its fun to realy fun to make the tiny 2 strokes spin and still have low end porting you realy need a degree wheel other then that your just guessing if i was to guess my 2 stroke makes like 5 to 6 hp likely more. Have fun with your upgrades
Thanks for your feed back :)
Alright, let's see a 4stroke kit perform., tuning with exhaust, carbs, porting, compression increase & Singh Grooves or am I too hopeful for 1 video
Hello. I need help for find main jets on JRL 80 cc carb. Thank s
I dont know who would need to hear this but me lol. Steal bbs are NOT ball bearrings do not use them in a rim they fall apart in a mile hahahaha
lol. noted :P
Switch your front wheel and go to disc brakes your front fork would be a 32 mm lens on my hyper pick it up
That one fluds after a while be careful it also leaks on engine
Float bowl over flow is common. Even more common if you don't run a fuel filter.
Cleaning the inlet needle and bowl will usually do the trick.
What's her name?
Doesn't have one yet. Got any good ideas?
@@LAHover LOL😂
Hey bro I've watched ALL, your videos and built two bikes in the last six mo this or so, one for myself and one for my wife, I was pulling her all over town while she held my back pack strap at first lol, but now she's in the game, but anyway I'm working on a Electra cruiser that's taking some motor mounting special attn... But I want some tall handlebars on this one, have you ever built one with hangers??? Or have we seen all your builds???
I have never done hangers sorry. You may want to look into using a BMX stem/headset. I think they clamp onto hangers better than most.

You do you man...
your videos are very helpfull. im just waiting for my motor in the mail, i have the same color cranbrook.
4 stroke,, turbo it
At knew carb suck it won't let you full throttle up
Yo. SCP from the discord. I thought you weren't supposed to ride in the rain because you can break your cdi?
Hey SCP! I have a video you can use to shut down anyone who tries to feed you that BS about getting wet ;) ... enjoy ua-cam.com/video/IiQFdsDQk7s/v-deo.html
That mag and CDI still work btw, old video.
Yay 4 stroke

Pedaling sucks lol
That carb is junk, get a pz20, and my carb adapter. Then you’ll have some serious power and speed. But you’ll eat up sprockets and chains…lol
LESSS GO ONE OF THE FIRSTQQQ
Because pedaling sucks. lmfao
