    Well this was enlightening! From the outcries of Some People, you'd think that making sugar involves some seriously harmful chemicals, or at least uranium and cocaine, but no, it's basically just concentrated juice :)

    Our ancestors were awesome. They figured all this out and then reproduced it on a massive scale. So massive that a bag of sugar is ridiculously cheap. Amazing.

    This has cemented in my mind the idea that refined sugar is a drug!

    • @praks07
      @praks07 5 років тому +1

      Sugar is a natural product and does not have any chemical reaction with any of the processes. The end product is just isolated from the juice. the sugar crystal formation is just sucrose and is 99 % + pure sucrose. I don't understand how this can be a drug. Most drugs are formed from chemical reactions with other products.

    What about cleaning the dark matter out of your fingernails beforehand. You say "Just white sugar" - all I see is the dirt you show with it. Small things make the difference, you should pay more attention to it. Not trying to be an a** , I just want you to be at best level. Anyone agrees? Like?

      His finger nails are not really dirty, it is oxidized crude sugar beet juices and compounds deposited on finger nails while slicing the beet tuber. Its difficult to wash out.
