I've been there. No molasses. Only fresh cane juice and boiled into thickness. When tempature cool down, it's all done. Another flavor is ginger flavor, which is commonly used in Taiwan cosine, giving a warmth in mouth and heart in winter time. All is nature and pure, I gurante. Buying for years.
It kind of looks like mexican brown sugar,it comes in a cone shape very very hard. Same color as this one i am definitely going to try it. Darker sugars have way more flavor carmel,vanilla-ish a much deeper flavor. I love luv it in my oatmeal and i use less sugar when i use the Mexicano one. I. Can't wait to try this one!!

Caramel? Only if your add milk inside . Actually this is due to a impurities called molasses give it brown color look . Why it is important not to remove the impurities ? Because it gives unique flavor and aroma to the baking times and also improve the texture.

In Kenya, we used to strip the outer hard parts of the cane, spit it out (all very normal to do back in the day 😅) and get to the sweeter inside fibre. Either chew on that or suck on it as one would a popsicle, and again spit out the fibres... I loved the taste so much.... first thing I went for when going to the market & gnaw away at my cane while I shopped.

Here in Brazil we use a lot of this sugar. I like to use it on my coffee, instead of the traditional refined white sugar. Makes the flavor better, IMHO.

It was done in aluminium containers and when that is heated a lot of aluminium residue is left in the sugar

Here in Brazil we use a lot of this sugar. I like to use it on my coffee, instead of the traditional refined white sugar. Makes the flavor better, IMHO.
