I put hte mufflers on and they wouldnt go back far enough to be mounted up. I measured what was needed to cut and cut the xpipe and then slid the muffler on to allow it to line up and bolt it to car.
@@worthygarage Did you have to cut both xpipe outlets or just one side? Looks like I have the same issue mounting the same mufflers on the same car though I've only tried mounting the passenger side muffler so far.
@@orangeskky yes, i had to cut both sides. Cut at different depths too! Cant remember what side i cut more, but they were not even. keep in mind I was in a perfectionist mindset and was all about cutting as least as possible off of the xpipe. I also cut at least twice, and used grinder to make sure it was just right.

The red hangers are the old version, all M5 s left the factory with the red ones, the black are the updated ones
