Hi Guys, I thought id put one of my most memorable trips together as a 'movie'. Ive gained a lot of subscribers since last year and i thought a few of you may enjoy this in these hard times. Enjoy and stay safe!
I miss traveling to Norway so much while watching this :( you should make more camping videos in the Nordics when the lockdown is over, Sweden is awesome, but Norway has some beautiful spots as well! :)
Are you have account ig?
Yes, same name :)
I would love to :)
Andy. Is this just the 3 part series strung together, or have you sliped extra/new content in it? Ben.
This kind of video replieves my stress when i'm locked down in my house.......
In Sweden you do have to watch out for moose, or a bear interested in your food, even a wolverine. In your countryside you encounter a badger, fox or maybe a marauding squirrel. But what gets you is an amoeba (or virus). Can never tell. Just glad you recovered and made your way home. 😊
H he
THESE VIDEOS HELP ME CHILL. I HAVE HIGH ANXIETY. THANK YOU
Same here. When I’m struggling to sleep, these videos make being awake bearable.
Best wishes.
Wow! Thank you so much for filming this amazing trip! I have to say, Andy, Simon kind of stole the show at the end by walking in frame behind you with the super long tree 🤣. You two are the perfect mix for this. Love your vids Andy, and really like seeing you with Simon. Sweden. Wow.
Andy and Simon are a power duo, you guys rock!!! I watch all your videos and you are quite an inspiration to a dad raising his kids, thanks guys!!!
I hadn't put 2 and 2 together..... I've been a longtime sub of Simon.... this video just popped up as a suggestion today.... as I was watching this I was thinking "have I watched this at some point?". I thought I was having deja vu! Then Simon popped in the picture and it hit me.... that's why this looks familiar!!! Was cool to see both sides of story shared from the same trip!!! I am now subbed to you too!
2 great channels and good guys.
Man it must totally suck to get sick out there in the wild. Good that you weren't alone and could recover quickly. Looks like you guys still had a lot of fun.
Had forgotten the sound of the noisy aluminum canoe! Real treat seeing a paddle from a place will never see! Thanks...
Amazing being able to share our hobby with good mates. Just makes us wanna do that more often!
Roll on good times !
This is a lovely thing to watch when suffering with flu. Thanks for the company
That’s the afternoon sorted. Cheers
Couldn't agree more.
These men are living and we are surviving!
I could only imagine a "Land Down Under" special!
Bloody great videos mate, big fan here from the land of Oz!
His videos are always so calm but they’re still so interesting. I can’t wait to see new ones but I still love watching the old stuff. Stay safe and healthy everyone 👍
You’ve clearly survived the Tinned Burger 🍔 👍👍 looking forward to this long vid 👌
That was a good video couldn't stop laughing
It's Great Andy & Simon are out and about again. I'm sure we'll all enjoy the trip as well. TAKE CARE..
Andy I'd be more than happy to watch "remastered" versions of some of your adventures. Thanks mate I really enjoyed watching this trip first time around.
I camped all over the U.S. and in Canada. At some of the cabins we stayed in had firewood already to go. We replaced it when we left. Some had a stove and ready to match light. We left it the same way for the next visitors. Some of the cabins are a safe haven from the cold. You would want to be chopping wood when you're freezing to death.
Food poisoning is horrifying🤢... Glad you pulled through!🙂 Thanks as always for sharing your adventures.😊🌲🚣♂️⛺🔥
Great stuff! It's very cool how different your perspectives are when filming the same location. Greatly enjoyed both.
Sorry u was poorly glad you had Simon with you.Stay Safe❤
So glad the trip didn't get scrubbed because of illness. Good thing Simon was there. Hats off to the bloke. That scenery was beautiful and peaceful.
Such a great camping adventure mates! A little bit of "everything"?! Boating around that big lake + island hopping with campfire cooking..... exercising & a bit of mild food illness too. Loved the 4× speed of last camp breakdown Lol
Now That's a Nice Spot ! Bring a Lighter. 😜🥴😁✌️
Hi. Andy and Simon.
sorry im catching up with your channel.
i hope you had a Great time on this epic trip, albeit being a bit ill.
Awesome videos.
both of you..
keep up the great work.
Andy, great vid and trip as always!! If you want the ultimate canoe tripping experience, that can be as tame as you like or could go on for months..... save your cash and come to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in an area of Northern Minnesota, US, and bordering Canada. Over 1 Million Acres of lakes connected by portage trails. I have been there 5 times, and it never ceases to amaze me. The terrain is almost identical to what you were in on this trip. Moose, eagle, otters, loons everywhere, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, lots of bugs!... easy portages, killer portages, easy loops, insane loops, huge lakes, islands, rivers, waterfalls, native american pictographs, pain, and bliss all in one. ENDLESS OPTIONS, my friend!! I took my 2 daughters (8, 10) on their first canoe tripping adventure this past summer to a spot called the Sylvania Wilderness in Western Upper Michigan..... its like a very-mini BWCAW and they were all about it! I can't wait for a few more years to bring them to the HolyGrail of canoe tripping!! Cheers, mate!
Thanks so much for this!! I hope everyone is staying well!!
Saw both yours and Simon’s series of videos and enjoyed so much! But seeing it all at once is awesome!! Hope you two get to go on another adventure together this year. 🙏🛶🏕
What is Simon's Channel?
@@garethfergusson9538
You’ll have found it by now, I’m sure, but just in case, it’s called ‘Simon: A Bloke in the Woods’.
Best wishes

Awesome videos bud, Love the variety of cooking and the presentation of the cooking areas. Makes me hungry every time i watch. I've learned to watch your videos while I'm on lunch at work.
There's some really nicely framed shots in this vid. It's clear a lot of work went into this. Really a joy to watch. Thanks for the content.
Hey Andi, thanks for sharing the full tour! I have already watched it on Simon's channel. Great to see it again from your perspective. Gosh I love Sweden! Hope to be able to travel there again, soon. Cheers buddy and stay healthy! Martin 🤜🏼🤛🏼🤠

Wonderful video‼️Love it when you and Simon are trekking together. ❤from🇨🇦😊
So beautifull. Water always has this "Magic"
Thank You for the awesome video! I am from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia Canada. We are on a complete lockdown and beaches, forests and fishing are completely closed with fines. I am enjoying your adventures and cant wait to get back to my canoe, trout brook and catch and cooking in the great outdoors. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for this, Andy. I'd previously watched the 'episodes' when you made this trip, but you've done a great job of re-editing them as a 'a movie'. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Looks like great fun! Thanks for bringing us along!
Great video Andy. It’s nice that you two could finally get out for that grand adventure. We don’t say much, but my wife and I really enjoy your channel as well as Simons. A couple of good folks. 🤘
Yes, this is what it need during a lockdown.
Excellent! Thank you so much for taking us along with you. Best to you and yours.

You wouldn’t be drinking that lake water if you’re in America… Sweden…. What a lovely place… I believe I want to visit there…beautiful scenery guys! And you guys are eating before 10:30 at night, bonus!
Bonjour ! J'aime beaucoup vos vidéos. Elles sont un grand bol d'air, surtout en période de confinement, ces vidéos sont instructives, et vous êtes souriant et semblait sympathique. Merci pour tous ces partages de moment dans la nature 😉
Your joyful outlook makes our hearts full.
Great video, thanks for taking us with you !
That was really good and I enjoyed it. Virtual camping through you. Made me think of the time I went camping and rented aluminium canoes. Good times. Take care ❤️ 🇨🇦
Reminds me of where I live in Canada...Canada has 2,000,000 lakes and thousands of rivers. One of my favorite things is to be out on one in my kayak or toodling around in my vintage cedar strip boat.
Yes Andy! I was thinking to re-watch these vids only a few days ago so this is perfect timing. Shall enjoy this greatly :)
Thank you :D

The B-roll in this video is GORGEOUS. Really nice.
You guys are such an awesome duo!!
Great camp I enjoyed this and I enjoy both of your channels. Safe travels
Absolutely beautiful love the video great waterfall
Really enjoyed watching this video, great place…
Years ago my husband and worked for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company and we purchased our desiccants to put in the tablet /capsule bottles to keep the medication dry from a company in China and the desiccants came in barrels like that that the tops screwed on and we would tie them to the canoes and they keep the food cold and dry. When the dessicant order came in to the warehouse those barrels were immediately marked with someone’s name on them. We lived in Vancouver British Columbia and everyone we worked with canoed and camped. They were easy to hoist up a tree as well.
Absolutely amazing escapism to watch! So inspiring big love and gratitude for your videos.
Really enjoy seeing you two guys doing that trek. Awesomeness. 👍🏻🍺👌🏻
Wow I would not have thought that this part of Sweden would look so much like many places in New Brunswick, Canada(my home). Great content as always Andy! Atb
Two of the Greats on UA-cam would love to Hang out with these guys and do a trip with them Thanks Andy Earl 🛶🇺🇲 Glad to see no Cheeseburger in a Can LOL 👍👍👍
You set of from where I lived the first 11 years of my life and where my mother lived until she passed away in 2020... its one of my favourite places on earth...
My two favourite bush blokes, I’d seen simons POV of the trip, and now I’ve seen yours Andy, fantastic to watch, and what a place, wow, loved it.
Oh wow! This is in Glaskogen! I’ve been there last Summer! Great nature and wild life! :-D
Watched it full. Loved when you did the bit by the lake I guess on day 2, when there’s was absolutely no sound. So peaceful. I ended up on your channel last year while searching for English breakfast videos which is hard to find in New York and hooked on English breakfast while I lived in the UK.
Than you :) it was a great trip.. I hope to return one day. cant beat an English breakfast ;) I do like pancakes though haha
Camping with a good friend is always fun. A simple meal is what I call simple hobo tacos.
2 cans of chili.
Some soft tortillas.
Shredded cheddar cheese.
Sour cream and any veggies of your liking.
Heat it up and roll it up and chow down.
And Jiffy Popcorn in the old school aluminum handle pan pops up easily over a campfire and makes a good treat.
Really enjoyed watching this I hope you guys do some more it is very entertaining and you make a good team clearly
This looks amazing mate love your videos

Thanks Monica, this was my trip from last year, I thought id put it together as a single video :)
Thank you Andy for sharing your Adventures with Simon in Sweden. When this lockdown is over and we can get on with our lives. 👍
Great Video Guys👍i like youre Song „Filming Me , Filming You aha.....“ 😂👍Amazing!!!
This was wonderful gentlemen.
Ughhhh, I hate aluminium canoes. They're so darn loud, and they almost always leak because there is too much pressure on the seams.
In those canoes you guys look like a couple Canadians from the 80's! 😃
I do enjoy both your and Simons videos, so this is a treat in these times to see you guys together. Great content 😉
Last year we travel on the other side of this area (lake "Lelang"). So much fun and adventures in this fantastic nature. We planed for june this year again.....very close timeframe with this C-virus thing. But we hope the best.
Thank for sharing your adventure, make things easier in this times!
Greetings from Austria!
Stunning scenery Andy! Sorry you were ill. You looked white as a sheet. Loved the video, brilliant thanks 👍
You really put your body through it 😮 stay fit and well my friend😊
Last summer a friend and I made a round trip from ed up stora lee and over to the foxen and back in a 10 day trip. Its fun to see places we've been to as well.
Hi Guys, we have been on lock down for so long, that even a trip in the wilderness with crappie weather was welcomed, enjoyed the adventure with you and Simon, and I enjoyed each meal prepared, I'm New to your channel, and I have become addicted, loving it 😉
Ray Mears has influenced a generation
Brilliant public service. Thank you.
A great epic adventure sir. I really enjoyed watching this. Getting sick on a camping is the worse. Much respect for the way you carried on.
Im from sweden! i love this!
I was excited to enjoy this, thank you. My son and I love to watch your videos.
thanks again Andy be safe and take care keep them coming
Hi guys! I love your videos and it was really nice to see you do some wildlife camping in sweden. However I have to adress that it is (even though we very clean water in sweden) not advisable to drink totally unfiltered water from our lakes. This is because of the animal life living close to the waters, such as birds, beavers and other animals doing their toilet in the water. It can be the reason for your upset tummy. With that said … thanks again for an amazing video!
Thanks for watching, there certainly seems to be 2 schools of thought of the water drinking over there :)
What an amazing trip, thanks for sharing
These kids at heart are having so much fun lol
