No need to be nervous, just good to see you back in the woods smiling, I love the community that bushcraft and camping have, and thought it so nice to see so many people just please you are OK and to see you back on our screens. No judgement just happy to be watching your uploads again, great to have you back.
I am glad you had a bit of a rest from UA-cam andy as you desvered it and as you know Devon and Cornwall are beautiful places to visit and stay so hope you enjoyed your stay in the to county's
I moved from Bournemouth to Scotland 13 years ago, summer so much easier and winter just more layers. The time and thought you put into these videos is appreciated. I found you through nominations for a challenge that you'd listed Swamp Valley and he mentioned you. So I have plenty of your previous posts to enjoy as I'm kicking around the house on furlough. Learning from you and these lift my spirits and give me ideas to look forward to when I'm back out and about. Thanks and stay well, safe and happy
Your videos make me so happy. 😁When I can’t get out into the woods I put them on and I’m almost there with you. Really love your cooking and quiet way about teaching us stuff. 👌
Andy so happy you are back and I am enjoying another wonderful camp video. Those log carriers are handy I made one out of heavy upholstery cloth and put big wooden dowels in the ends for grip handles. That is a interesting lantern hook. I haven't had lamb for quite some time I think a lamb stew is in order for a camp cook. Thank you so much for sharing your time to entertain us.
Hey Clara.. im so glad I bought it, very handy! the lantern hook was just my squirrel cooker, thought it might be handy as I was driving right up to camp but its a bit low really haha
be yourself not what others expect or want you to be we all need time out for our own reasons from time to time glad your back out where you feel happy to be enjoy it buddy
Lol I remembered to make me something to eat while I watch your cooking segments you always make me hungry Andy ! Oh and by the way Brother I'm glad you're Okay !!!
That leather wood carrier is a valuable piece of kit: comfortably carries more wood without frustrating drops AND makes a fine kneeler by the fire or in front of the shelter. I like to use pure beeswax to season cast iron and blue steel pans. The tree in the golden sunset is FINE FOTOGRAFY! When I got to the scene with the fire, the horn mug and the lantern light, I hit SAVE. Best of Kent Survival Returns!
Thanks James.. I think that wax combines bees wax and high temp oils.. the cast iron cleaned up pretty well so it seems good stuff. Loving being back out again :)
I use one of those at home for carrying wood into the house for the wood stove. Min'es not wood (nylon) but it does the same job. Definitely a useful item!!!
Camp Fire cooking at it's best!! Campfires always deserve the best cuts of meat and tastes that much better in the fresh, crisp air!! Send me some of that lamb!!
Hey, Andrew. Good to have you back, mate. Hope life is well now, stress, drama and all has vanished and you can focus on the future. Great vid, really good to see you in the enviroment you do love. I´m sure you´d savoured the well deserved and much needed quality time in the woodland. And also enjoy wonderful Cornwall... with its breathtaking landscapes, beaches and cliffs. Cheers from Germany.
Glad your doing well! Happy that you’re back... I love your videos! Can’t wait to go camping 🏕 again. Food always tastes better cooked on a camp fire. 😁
hello and welcome back i have made you my official teacher and i have been going out and doing this and am getting fairly good at it i have my shelter built and i am confident now to try a winter camp out over nighter, i have learned and applied your lessons and now am going to go alone for the first time till now i had someone with me glad to see you back, and greetings from Pittsburgh, PA, USA
Hi Andy, good to see you, now I know cooler weather is on it's way! That bacon...yummy, now I'm hungry. Thanks for the video, take care! Susan, from Tennessee, U.S.
I have a collapsible camping sink which serves the same purpose as your dog bowl, as well as a perfect way to soak tired feet after a long hike. That lamb looked marvellous! I love a cheeky over-nighter!
You're back!!! Yay!!!!! Good too see you again, and hope you are really doing well. Enjoy watching your quiet and peaceful videos. Just the right amount of talking and no talking. Keep up the great work Andy!
That's living at its best...real food while out. That American breakfast looked lovely. Forgotten what it tastes like...will have to treat myself again soon I think...pancake looked lush
Good to see you back, Andy. The lamb looked good, I think I would have seared it first and then add braising liquid. The maillard reaction is our friend.
Watching from America here. Great videos. Having grown up in the southeastern US, I have done a lot of camping in the woods. And your camping style is similar to what we do here. You're doing a great job. Keep being yourself on your videos.
Great to see you back mate and another great video. I do bacon, cheese and tomato pancakes quite regularly at home and they are very popular with the family. Next time I will try them while camping. Thanks for your efforts with these videos, it is appreciated. Cheers from Australia

Glad to see you back and making videos again Andy! You single handedly inspired me to take up wildcamping myself. Now me and my scout leader friend make 2 or 3 good weekend wild camps a year. Definately been looking forward to the autumn also. Somehow makes it that little bit more satisfying waking up after its been freezing all night and you managed to stay cosy. Best of luck for the future vids. Hope the job calms down a bit, I know how it can be.
It’s great to see you out again. No apologies necessary. Anytime you need to take is fine with me. As long as your happy doing videos well keep watching. I don’t blame you about the heat. It’s not any fun. ATB.
