Luke, I don't know how many hours that you spend just editing your adventures, but it is evident by your content, not including the many different camera positions that you set up to capture many angles, it's more than a few!

Never understand why the tarp and tent are so far apart?
I'm down with The Outdoor Gear Review as a new member, and these are like the icing on the cake for me.
I'm an R-BTK Amputee and I also died, was placed in a medical coma, had two more surgeries to remove almost 2/3 of my total intestines and was only given around 3-5 years to live. That was in 2015 I think.
That Propofenal that killed Michael Jackson is what was used on me and it screwed up my memory. Bad. But one thing I do frequently remember is to look up and say thanks for another chance to see the sun before being called to see The Son, and then I do whatever I need to do, to make it through another day here in Detroit Michigan, until I can get back south. Most likely s.w. Va. this time.

Luke, when you put up a tarp, how come you don't pitch your tent underneath the tarp?
For me, I pitch a tarp when I am expecting rain, and I don't have my tent under it either. I do this because I camp in bear country, and I don't want the food odors in my tent. That may be why Luke does does it as well.

Luke, I have noticed that you usually pitch your tarp first, then setup your tent about ten yards away. Other trekkers pitch their tent under or adjoining their tarps. Is this separation just personal preference, or is there some advantage I'm not aware of?

Blow up beds, gave up on them years ago. Stretcher is better. Your tents seem to be very thin. I'd rather go with my medium tent, even if I have carry the extra weight.
Spent three day in solid rain with that. No leaks and four of us slept warm and comfortable, on our stretchers, throwing our sleeping bags open, it was so warm. Temperature outside, probably 4 to 5 degrees C

Everything is a storm to him....
The only thing that is preventing me from subscribing & watching these videos is the fact that they have ASMR in the title. ASMR to me has peeping Tom vibes, like I’m watching someone I shouldn’t.
I prefer you converse & be present with the audience rather than pretending we’re not there.
