    This is my dog, Tripper's first camping trip since his elbow surgeries.
    Its winter time now at the fort in the woods and I wanted to see if we could stay dry and warm overnight while camping through a blizzard at the fort in the woods.
    We cook up good food, collect a ton of firewood and ride out the blizzard while winter camping.

    joe, i can feel your pain. my grandson has fought cystic fibrosis all his life of 15 years. it was 13 years of failed procedures at every turn. hopeful treatments all failed. i was helpless, i could not change the outcome. i was watching him die. all i could do was place him in god's hands. 2 years ago, as he was fading away he received a double lung transplant that has turned our lives around. suddenly he was transformed into a happy healthy kid. never quit trying and never lose faith. good luck nd may god be with you.

    • @MaximusMerideus
      @MaximusMerideus 3 роки тому

      I'm so happy for your grandson. This might be a dumb question and I mean no offense but with the double lung transplant, did that cure his C.F.? Is he 100% healthy and God willing not ever have to worry about C.F.? I hope that is the case. I'm so sorry your family and went through that pain for 15years. If I had one wish it would be to live in a world where children never got sick. Give the sickness and diseases to us adults to handle and leave the children alone. Kids should never have to deal with pain and disease and surgeries. I pray for all children across this world and would give my life to save any 1 of them. Life is all about the kids and an adult job is to care for the young and old.

    I’m so sorry about your little girl joe. My parents tried my whole life up until now to fix my foot that has to many veins in it. It’s very rare and very hard to cure. Whatever you put your girl through just know it’s the right choice if they tell you it’s gonna help and if it doesn’t help it’s not your fault and your girl will get that one day. 💜

    I love the Dog, my man. He looks like he is well taken care of and he also has those first glimmers of, ( in my opinion), a primal intelligence that serves him well.
    Dogs are like people, some of them are sweet, some rude, some happy, sad, crazy and some of them can be taken out of their comfort zones and subjected to new things and the wild. A loyal dog is better than most 5 random guys.

    I haven’t watched a good joe episode since you lost scout. I also lost my dog around the same time and we would watch you together. Some of the best times I had with that dog were watching you and scout farting around in the forest. I recently got another puppy and this was the first episode that I’ve been able to get through, and it’s because he was busy watching the screen for Tripper. Just like my old dog did for Scout. Here’s to the future and lots more great memories! Thanks man

This was my life in Northern Wisconsin/Upper Michigan and Colorado for 68 years. Your good times in the woods brings back my memories of having playtime in the wilds. Good memories of blizzards, -50°F, 7 foot snowdrifts. Oh boy!!!! Thank you Joe and Tripper for my "Ridealongs".
