EDIT: I forgot people on the internet need things spelled out to them sometimes, but me saying you don’t have to tell your parents isn’t me saying “hide it and never tell them”. It’s me saying don’t feel like you HAVE to cause it’s a hobby. That’s like feeling like you HAVE to tell your parents you love Fortnite or something. If you want to tell them feel free. I’ve just seen a lot of kids say “oh no how do I tell my parents” don’t if you don’t want to?
Using art you commissioned or art that was gifted to you is fine to use as a profile pic, that isn’t art theft. Tracing over a free to use base is also fine to post as long as you credit the maker of the base
There is some people in my school that say bad things about them. I think one of which is catching on. My teacher is also one as well. I don't know what the future brings.
To add to that, Picasso once said, and I quote "good artist borrow, great artist steal." There are also techniques people can use to protect their artwork as well. Watermarks and low resolution pictures unless you want to buy the high resolution version.

I’m so sending this to my furry bff. This’ll help her a lot. We’re both 11 and she just finished sowing (yes she has a sowing machine) her head paws and tail. Yes she made it all by herself and it’s actually amazing. It looks like a real fur suit u could buy. She’s really talented.

In Australia we get our license (or learners license at around 16) some at 17 but it depends on whether you want it or not

i dont consider my self a furry but like i love anthros and stuff and i love the furry fandom! and honestly people r taking jokes and using them too far just to be mean. The whole tik tok gamers vs furries thing was a joke that was fun to play along with. But when they say horrible things and actually mean it then, i get kinda pissed.
All of this is important information for younger furs! Especially the fursuit & art theft parts. It makes me sad when kids think they need a fursuit to be a furry when they don't.

This video is making me more confident to become a furry, one time in art class I asked to turn the human i was drawing (for a class project) into a furry, I was told no, but one of the girls started to say "Ew a furry", it made me fell bad inside. I still hide I'm a furry because my sisters and best friend (I've known this friend for years and were really close) don't really " like" furries. I'm still new to the furry community and would love to know some other furries! (I have not made a fursona yet, but I plan it to be a Button quail/Gambels quail hybrid)

I drew pictures of talking tom when I was little and tom and angela are anthros but that doesn't make me a furry. I couldn't have been a furry at age 5. You shoudl at least know what a furry is before hopping into the fandom I suppose

Besides why not draw one based on the originale. Since even the most basic persone can draw like that and quite often even better it should be more meaningfule to invest youre money in art school or supplies.

Not saying it's okay to steal and such, far from that, i just think that bases help those that aren't that good at drawing.
On a side note, bases aren't a very useful tool to get better at art, realism is always the best way to improve your skills.

I love this so much, you really get how I feel in this situation. I'm 14 and 3/4 basically 15, but even though I'm going through isolation and stuff rn, this video makes me feel like they're is a place where I can go and not be judged of what and who I like, and thx for the helpful comment about not needing to pay attention to those who hate, I'm a person pleaser and I'm trying to get over it, and this video really helped, so thx for this, and ill try to use it in my ever day life to make my day not so isolated and bad as it was a few minutes ago before I met you.

You're still very young, and you'll come to find that stuff like that is just stupid. People who threaten to not be friends with you or make fun of you for liking something aren't true friends, and you can definitely find better friends who will accept you for who you are.

Im actually a young furry im +14 and i designed a fursuit on a joint channel witch includes me and my friends, and this random adult man (who i reported) tried to steal the design when i specifically mentioned it was for my best friend (the channel is eclipsefursuits)
I'm a young fur and here's how it all went...My big bother found out and told
my mom but not my dad. I told my dad and I told him how fun it is to be a furry.
Somewhere around December I wanted to go to a con. I looked for convention tips,
and when I saw one of your videos I wanted to go to Motor City Fur Con. My dad asked
me how far it was and it was 35 hours away! (1 day and 11 hours away.) I was disappointed,
then he asked me where the nearest one was at. Further Confusion was the nearest convention
since I live in California. We register and the day arrives. I had so much fun over there and I made my
own suit. Thank God I didn't wear it for a quarter of the con. We saw the parade and the dances,
dealers den (how ever you spell it), and that's pretty much it. I'm 11 years old and my comments
never EVER get support hhhhh. Edit: my dad enjoyed the con as well heheh...
I'm planning to go to further Confusion next year! There isn't visible NSFW fur suits or art there. Right? Just wt to make sure

@@Ruby-tc4ej nope! demons aren't animals, they're made up and not based off of real creatures (like jackalopes) so they wouldn't qualify as a furry. unless, you know, the demon dresses up in fursuits or says that they themselves are a furry.
It’s kinda funny to me that internet haters will go to extremes and be so over dramatically rude, when if you think about it, they’re saying this to someone they don’t even know. They can’t actually insult you personally. Try to keep this in mind if people ever leave you hate on the internet.

I found my friends by taking the step and saying I have a fursona (a male deer named Orion). My parents were confused at first and arnt that accepting of it (they all laugh at me) but I just grin and just say “I’m my own person!”

Hi there! I'm 13 and have experienced some hate on my Instagram, I recently got some messages about how furries should die and go to hell and other stuff like that. And I saw some people I follow on there had been victims of art theft and were putting things out about it saying its not right and you should never do it (which is very true it's not only irritating for the original artist and their fans but also very disrespectful). My most recent post is about people saying mean and unnecessary things and how you shouldn't let it get you down and that if people don't like it they can just ignore it and not comment. People can have opinions and that we cant judge people on that and that most people do like the posts or work people put online and really its just the haters loss.
