Keeping a dream journal was torture for me. Immediately when I started one, I couldn't go to sleep at all and it took me hours to actually sleep. After 2 nights of not being able to go to sleep normally, I ripped out the page in which I started my dream journal, put the notebook away and I could finally sleep at peace. I think my dreams aren't meant to be written down

I lucid dream more than regular dreaming....wtf I though it was common.
I never had lucid dreams because I don't know how and it seems hard for me and I don't dream unless I think about something before I sleep (My dream has nothing to do with what I last thought of, its just something random.)
If you wake up in the middle of a nice dream who else try to go back to sleep just to see the continuation of that dream? Just me?

Totally normal. The subconscious is reliant on the experiences you create due to “random” firing of neurons during sleep. It would be more concerning if your dreams *weren’t* weird.

Dreams! My favorite topic. My experiences with my dreams:
1. There were times when my dreams felt so real that sometimes (the next day) i couldn't differentiate if those are real life experience or just a scene from my dreams
2. Once i dreamed i was falling from a cliff but i was so shocked that it woke me up and just realized that i fell from my bed
3. There were few times that i couldn't remember what i was dreaming about but i woke up with my pillow wet as i was crying in my sleep and i felt so sad but i don't know why
Qin Z. the last one:(
I’ve cried in my sleep too multiple times from either pain or I yelled at someone I was arguing with (I don’t like fighting) but I can also smell, feel the touch, and even the warmth from any person who is in my dream as well as feel mild or excruciating pain whenever I get injured🤷🏻♀️ my dreams have been like this ever since I was really little😅
Oh yes I've experienced number 3 aswell.
OMG THE SECOND ONEE, the thing that when you're falling in ur dream you actually feel like you're falling :0
First, I’ve experienced it a lot... the second, I sleep on a bunk bed but sometimes I feel like I’m falling then when I wake up my bed is shaking and there is a pain on my back. But I have never fell from my bed. And third, never happened to me. Are you guys ok? You need to talk someone? I’m here if you feel comfortable I can listen you and try to help you.
When you have a dream, wake up and think it’s already late bc the dream seemed so long, then you look at the clock and it’s so early
Funnier when you wake up, feel like you are to late for school/work, get yourself ready for it and before you leave you realise, that you don't have to go there, because it is the weekend/holidays etc
american teehee I was panicking this morning because I thought I had a test (we have tests every day now, a week long) but it was Sunday
Me sleeping at 3:25 only to wake up at 3:27 lol
0:42 whenever i have a nightmare I immediately say “this isn’t even realistic this is a dream” like that one time i dreamt about granny (the horror game) my whole family was there (I have really weird dreams) when granny arrived every one ran away I looked at granny for a few seconds and just turned my head and continued walking knowing it’s a dream and that happens in every nightmare or unrealistic dream
That's so cool I wish I could do that
Granny:-"Am I a JoKe To YoU?!!!!" 😂😂..Anyways I would like to have that skill too!
When I lucid dream I know I’m sleeping but I can’t control them.
That's not lucid dreaming! Lucid dreaming is when you have full control over your dream
Basically if you can’t control your dreams it’s not lucid dreaming
I hate dreaming about being in school and then have to wake up to actually go to school
For some reason, I dream a lot about vacations during the school year and a lot of school dreams during vacation
LOL most of my school-related dreams involve some sort of swimming park
I am college student and still dreamed of my elementary school lol
&’ then we see the people that were in the dream at school
While homeschooling, I'd dream about being in public school and not being able to catch up.

Usually when i wake up and don't remember my dream i don't get up until i remember it i start by recalling what happened first, and it's now a habit that i love so much and rarely give up on, it feels like i solved a mystery cuz i know that if i brushed it off i wouldn't remembet it again since I'll forget everything after i get up, i sometimes remember them fully (and wish i never did) or remember the most impacting momments in my dream like the bear on top of my house or when the house got sucked to a giant tornado while im still inside.
Dreaming has always been an interesting topic to me! I was a little girl when I first knew I could control what happens in my dreams. It turns out that only 20% of the population could do that. It's like visiting another world.

It's amazing how dreams can make you feel emotions. Bit of a small backstory, but i haven't been clinically diagnosed but I should get diagnosed, I got depression about 2 years ago.
Mid 2018- to today.
I can say I have battled my depression and now have very mild depression.
I'm not gonna lie I haven't feel joy in quite some time, and that all changed the other night.
I have always associated carnivals with a good time, and this particular dream I will never forget.
I had a dream I was with my family, and I didn't even see their faces I just knew they were there. And I just remember feeling pure joy. Joy I haven't felt like that in a long long time, and i woke up and I never forgot about that feeling.
My point is dreams can be amazing especially when you're sad for a divorce, a death, circumstances etc.

Didn’t expect people who have lucid dreams are the minority? Almost everyone I discussed with said they had lucid dreams occasionally
Most of them lie because lucid dreaming is cool. Trust me, when you ask them about how they know it's a lucid dream, they get confused.
yeah a lot of people think they’re lucid dreaming but they’re really not
I had a lot of them when I was younger up until I was like 16 I think, after that they just kind of faded. I can still make myself wake up when I realize I’m just having a bad dream but maybe that’s normal ?
@@aishwaryasrivastava5751 very true. I had a lot of bad dreams as a child so I practiced understanding that I was awake and trying to control myself while dreaming. Even now that I'm an adult it's still difficult the deeper into the dream, but when discussing it others are like "yeah I know when I'm dreaming and I can fly around and stuff" and I'm like, I've been practicing most of my life and I can barely walk in a straight line. The only tangible thing I can do is calm down and abort a bad dream to wake myself up, I'm calling extreme BS that other people are just having whole trips to neverland.
For me at least, lucid dreaming is about calming down enough from a heightened dream state enough to understand that I am dreaming and that while I am not in real danger I am in immediate danger. This usually allows me to either nopenout of there in extreme cases, because I have noticed that exiting dreams early increases the chance of sleep paralysis, and the second option. The second option is to calm down and hopefully change the mood of a dream or make a logical decision that will remove the immediate threat. Like if I dream of a stranger in my house, I can logically conclude that leading them through my grandmother's bathroom which has two doors and locking the door behind me will give me enough time to reach the back door. Getting outside is the goal and if I reach it I will feel safer and the dream will calm down. Unless it's nighttime in which case I will feel worse and that's when the exit dream now button becomes much more appealing. And if I do wake up paralysed, at least I know why and am thus less scared then the times when I randomly wake up paralysed which is nerve wracking to say the least.
I have also interacted with my paralysis demon on multiple dream attempts, he's nice, if a bit of a total fing d!ck who wants to screw with my mind.
See, I've ALWAYS been aware of when I'm dreaming, and I never knew up until a few years ago that it wasn't normal...

I’ve been lucid dreaming since I was 4, since I had a nightmare and told my parents and my mom explained it’s your dream you control what happens. Since then, when dreams get uncomfortable I’m able to look for identifiers to indicate it’s a dream and modify it to be happy
I’ve heard look at the sky. If it looks like a painting. Or, what you would see through a screen fabric window. There you will know you are dreaming.
This Weeb_! I find there’s inconsistency in the details , like someone’s hair colour, or the arrangement of the furniture or what’s surrounding the location. The details are only in the immediate and even though they’re not all correct, the further out from the focus of the dream you look the more obvious that it’s a dream so what you say makes sense. There’s something off with the surroundings or bigger picture in a dream so looking at the sky or something is a good tip
Annette Nash I'm glad that you can tell these details and your are aware! Because lucid dreaming can be terrifying when you don't know how to understand or handle it well! I bet you might know how that feels. I'm pretty sure I've lucid dreamed once? I knew I was sleeping but I was almost going through a story, but therefore I couldn't fully control anything. Practice makes perfect!

I used to have these dreams where something bad was about to happen, everytime, it was up to me to either stop it, or make sure it didn't reach its worse possible outcome. I dreamt that i was in a mall with my dad drinking cultured milk. Then godzilla tore the whole mall down.
*Yeah...*
He probably came for the sale.
I tend to remember 1-2 of my dreams in complex detail for up to 2 hours after I wake up even though I don't have a dream journal, though I do tend to tell my Mom my crazy dreams when I wake up. All of my dreams are very complex and are rich in detail, and sometimes I revisit dreams but they aren't reoccurring dreams. I have the occasional elusive dream normally when I am about to wake up. I start to control my dreams and shape them the way that I want. I have extremely weird dreams, to the extent that if a normal person were to have one of my dreams they would probably think that something is wrong. But they are completely normal to me. Can you make a video explaining more on wacked out dreams so that I can better understand? I really appreciate your videos, they are helping me to understand others and myself in a far better way than before. Thank you and keep up the good work😊👍
The last dream I remember was HUGE boulders falling from the sky, me running faster than I could ever think of, and having a brother I've never had in my life....

For example, one night i dreamed about peting a dog in my house, in that time we dont have a dog in my house but like 4 or 5 months later my dad bring a puppy to the house and then i remembered that dream. The became real about 2 months later
The same thing happens to me. Around 6 or so years ago I had a dream I was chased by a Yorkie across various places. I had the same dream two years later. Then 1 year after that I had the same dream, but instead of being vicious, the dog loved me. Around 5 months after that final dream, I got a Shorkie who would playfully chase me around
I have the same thing!
When i was 5 or 6 i had a dream about being in preschool and that i hit my hand. The next day i tried to not hit my hands and i did... in the same place. Everything was the same i saw in that dream!
Yeah, this happens to me too, but not with all dreams, but I've researched how to interpret it (not that great at it) but what I've read it's fascinating to know it was this Islamic book, if I find it I can give it here in the comments if you'd like

Sameee!
hard work at school
"wait, wha--"
I've had quite a few dreams where I'm getting ready to go somewhere....when I look at myself in a mirror in the dream, my face is always way outta focus or really distorted, I wonder why. Great vid :)
your voice is so calming :)
“Dream journals help you remember dreams”
I have a journal but i never dream so it’s just there with that one entry 3 years ago.
Everyone dreams you just can't remember them.
@@jadas8686 No, I can remember my dreams very well. But I dream very rarely.
@@thasleeena9978 ahh
tonight I had a dream in comic style, that was weird but also interesting
What is it?
I think I started controlling dreams at 10 not fully. But now I can. This is super cool
I love the narrator's voice, it sounds so calming
Whenever something bad happens in my dreams, I somehow know that it is a dream and force myself to open my eyes, before it gets worse in the dream.
2. Lack of sleep due to waking up after dreaming of something upsetting
I have a “dream journal” but it’s on my notes app.
As of now I have jotted down 33 dreams on it, some dreams which I don’t particularly like I choose not to write it down, i think it really does help you remember more.
Wow
I should consider doing a Dream Journal as well!
For all my Dreams even though there is a Dream thah just keeps going since the beggining of the year sooo idk!
Also i do Remember my Dreams every time but i think it wouldn't be bad to write them down!
Your voice makes me feel calm
Hi, I want you to write down your Insecurities on a paper, then tear it apart and throw it away! How do you feel now❤️ I Hope that you feel better!
Thx I will do that
I actually wrote my crush's name on a paper and threw it out the window cause I knew I had to stop crushing on him... I don't know how a piece of paper can change what you think but my crush ended...
(I don't know what the person who had a paper with a boy's name fall on their head thought XD)
@Monica Ilieva
You culd just use a tiny bit of paper❤️
@Monica Ilieva
Same❤️ #StaySafe
I've had 3 dreams that have come true, please explain? They were big life events that I didn't understand as a child dreaming them
Maybe you have some psychic abilities about predicting the future?

"For in dreams, we enter a world that is entirely our own"
I had a weird dream when I was a small child. Not only me, but my Mom had a weird dream too. We sorta like had the same dream, same time? We shared Dreams? I am not sure if that is possible but when we woke up, we talked about it and figured we saw eachother in the same dream. Crazy, right?
That’s crazy but scary to
I usually remember some of my dreams, and I swear that some of them happened in reality exactly like they happened in the dream one day or some days after. Today, I put a piano asmr and i wanted to imagine myself in a different place, I ended up living in that dream and even controlling it, for the first time in my life. I woke up and i'm trying to search about it.
You have such a soothing voice
