デザイン好きとしてはたまらん〜 シンガポールは面白い建築物多いですよね。
それに自然がいっぱいあるから調和が美しい。
I thought it was a super good idea to link up with a property agent to give you a tour! Although I'm really surprised you didn't show us more of inside the units and let the property agents do a bit more presentation on the unit! We get a nice apartment tour, and they get to promote the unit for sale. It would have been a win-win. I really wanted to see how the units look like inside.

My friend lives here and I've been to her house so many times. I didn't even know it was such a unique place, I just saw the buildings and was like "oh you have a cool condo area" xD She has access to part of the roof and she holds parties there because the space is gigantic and open. And it seems private but you can sit on like the roof and look at every apartment and it's not so private cuz you can just look inside cuz they're so near 😂😂 The atmosphere is super nice though, Singapore our HDB and buildings are designed to let maximum airflow go through the layout. Same with the condo. It's very windy and atmospheric, and when you sit on the roof and you hear the water from the pool nearby and look at the sky and the apartments around you, it's a very modern but dreamy atmosphere. IDK how to explain it 😂 Anyway glad you're having fun exploring our tiny country! I'm looking forward to each one of your videos!

Its a long walk from the condo to the nearest hawker centre, mrt is even further. U need to take a bus/ the condo's shuttle bus.
Dude, there is a MUST-drink juice over at Alexander Food Village and that is the Avocado juice. It is life-changing, trust me.

Since you have intention to revisit the area for food blog, so I thought to recommend a few I feel which I think not bad.
"Poh Cheu", they are famous for this snack call "ang ku kueh" which means red tortoise cake. The skin is made with glutinous rice flour, dyed in red color. There are many choice of different fillings inside; the traditional ones are peanuts and mung bean. Note; the skin is sticky, so don't hold it with tissue paper, else you be eating the tissue paper.
Xiang Jiang Soy Chicken. Their soy sauce chicken noodles is good.
Tiong Bahru Lien Fa Shui Jing Pau. They sell kueh also, known as Shui Jing Pau which is translated as Crystal Dumplings. Why this? This is one of the last you can find in Singapore, it is a dying skill. The fillings are usually red bean, yam paste, or turnip. Many young Singaporeans may not seen them before. So I strongly recommend you to try this.
Mr Avocado. If you are an avocado shake fan. I know many avocado shakes say this is GOOD.
And if you have room for more food while in the area, you can go across the road to ABC Brickworks Market & Food Centre. Wow Wow West, Fatty Cheong Roast, Bao Zai, Tiong Bahru Yi Sheng Fried Hokkien Mee, Mohd Zaid etc etc.

The laksa was nice many years ago > 10yrs. Heard they sold or pass on the recipe but the new owners couldn’t replicate the taste.

Welcome to my neighborhood! The clay pot laksa used to be very good many years ago but the original owner had retired and it’s now managed by different hawker, so standard had dropped. Can try another stall’s Bakuteh near the avocado drink stall, & the satay.

Alexandra Food Villageの一押しはAJ Delightsというマフィン屋さんと、Poh Cheuというクエ屋さんです。どちらもシンガポールで一番の味じゃないかな？
あと、幹線道路を挟んだ向かい側にあるABC Brickworksというホーカーセンターも超どローカルで楽しいですよ。特筆すべき店がないのが難点ですが。。。1か月ほど近所に住んでいたので、AlexandraもABCも我が家の台所でした。

I am not an architect but from an engineering perspective I think Singapore should have more round building to improve air flow. I think this particularly useful for Singapore where UHI is a significant issue. From principle of physics, I know that when wind speed is reduced by building structures, the KE is converted into heat.
So I am wondering why there are so few round buildings in Singapore.

RonLarhz Agree... or pretend to be potential tenant looking to rent a unit there, instead of buyer. Lots of tenants there. There is also AirBnB listing for room (not whole unit) in that development.
@@jk35260 Round buildings are very space-inefficient, even with custom furniture. Cost per m² of luxury buildings is very high, so you'll end up paying top money for the unused space too.

In fact interlace land belongs to an Aging HUDC (higher class HDB). In 2007 developer took over under enbloc and TOP up the leased back to 99 years and built Interlace.
You are next to the Southern Ridges.....One of the biggest of park and natural reserves in Singapore. Do not miss Henderson Waves and Reflections (the other craziest condo).

私が日本で凄い異様なデザインのマンションだと思ったのは熱海のパサニアクラブマンションです。興味がある方はぐぐってみてください。
山の斜面に沿って建てられたので全室日当たり抜群のバルコニー付き、外観が城壁のようなリゾートマンションです。SGに負けてないです。
熱海駅前で海の眺望が抜群でプールも付いてます。築40年なので中古は1DKが500万円から3LDKで3千万円くらいとかなり安いです。
Hey Ghib Ojisan, if you're going back to take some footage of food for your travel channel, try the prawn noodles in the middle row The Old Stall Hokkien Street Famous Prawn Noodle. Another prawn noodle shop at the row nearest to the road is run by a young hawker, Ming's Prawn Noodle. Doesn't have the strongest or umami-packed broth but the prawns he uses are plump, fresh, and sweet. Avocado juice from Mr Avocado as some others have mentioned, only opens at noon. Peak times are during weekdays lunch hour. Crowd usually dies down at around 1.15-1.30pm or you can go early at around 11. Hokkien Street Prawn noodles usually sells out by 2pm. Another nearby place for great food is ABC Brickworks Food Center, its around a 10min and its across a street to Alexandra Food Village

If you are keen on trying out other claypot laksa. There's one at depot heights shopping center
Should have gone for the Queensway Shopping Centre Laksa or Taiwanese rice (2nd floor).
Next time, you can drop by ABC Brickworks (also hawker centre) which is less than 10 minutes walk from Alexandra Food Village (avocado juice is famous in Alexandra Food Village). After that, you can drop by IKEA Alexandra cafe for more food!
A pity!! Next time you should try out the hawker's chicken rice, claypot rice and the avocado drink. One of the many famous in the hawker. Behind IKEA, there's also ABC Brickworks, another famous hawker centre for hokkien mee, char siew rice (Fatty Cheong) .

You should check out our oldest condo in singapore - Pandan valley condo. It has the largest unit among all the condo too.
Oh my u walk quite far to the hawker enter from the condo
the soy sauce chicken rice you walked passed is very good. you can wait up to 45 mins. and better go earlier as it sell out by 1.20ish. avocado juice you don't necessary have to visit mr avocado (the queue is also very long), the juice stalls at Alexander all have some standard.
the ang gu kueh (Poh Cheu) that someone recommended is not in the hawker centre but a short walk away. it's good and recommend you to try. Try their soon kueh too! The queue is not for the fainthearted :) there's another stall in the same coffee shop with a long queue. It's a fish soup stall (with no name!), which I personally find to be alright only but many people love. the chilli there is fantastic though. Ask for fish slices with ee mian (up to you if you want milk) go very early if you want to eat the fish noodle. the queue is longer than the chicken rice.
This estate has quite a few hidden spots besides the hawker centre. I remember there is also a bakery selling very old school cakes. There is also Keng Eng Kee for zhi char
