What is success? (this)

I define success in two simple ways:
1.) Did I show up today(ish)?
2.) Am I stoked on what I've made and what I'm making?
That's it. Large macro moments of culturally-defined moments of success are usually based on numbers and metrics. These are external and not helpful. They are made up of micro and nano milestones. These small moments are where success lives. This are the day-to-day, unnoticed events.
When you feel successful for those, you're not relying on the big moments, which are nothing offer more than diminishing returns.
