This was the best and simplest explanation of what to do with the mountain of corn that I just got from a local farm. I have little room in my small freezer, so I'll put each in a vacuum bag so I can squeeze each one in space that basically doesn't exist. Thank you for this video! Now.. off to shuck soooo much corn.

I am glad it helped you Lynne!
@@LearnHow2 I did it! Half my freezer is full of vacuum packed corn. We'll be eating summer in the fall (and maybe the winter) now!
Hi nice but can airtight plastic work instead of foil?
hi Mervin. Yes you can but I think the foil holds the moisture and flavor better over long storage times (helps prevent freezer burn). Keep safe.
Very helpful. Thank you
Thanks for your appreciation.
Thank you.
Nice method
Hi Swaad. Thanks for your appreciation.
So is it not an option to just throw it in the freezer after pealing the leaf?
You can put it directly in the freezer but I would not recommend it.
Thank you !
Hi Lalitha. You are so welcome!
Oh man ..foils are much more expensive than a corn cob and add to that the process....fresh corn cobs are available round the year...
Not everywhere
Good kline
Thanks love your videos
1st step - pick the corn...DUH !!!! So we came here to learn you have to pick it before you freeze it...OMFG !
Hi Jim. I know what you mean :) but some people have to be told! Keep safe.
Thank You
You're welcome!
Just eat them all already.
Hi Irene. We like to store them for use in Winter. Keep safe.
Bruh, steel wool your pot!

Even better: vacuum bags!
