Is the CY29RC a clone of the G290RC with just a 2 bolt top? I wanna know what Chung Yang engines are equivalent to what Zenoah engines. Also, does the ADA S2 and Sikk Torque have the same sound?
No and no. Zenoah makes one engine and Chung Yang mankes the cy29rc..the pipes have different power bands and sounds imo the s2 is a much better pipe not only is it thicker/ stronger its also got a really good low to mid range power and still pulls top end like crazy! I prefer the zenoah g290rc engines only bc they are 4 bolt vs the 2bolt cases, 4 bolt is obviously more reliable. Although I haven’t had any issues with the CY29 after i used the steel reinforced base gasket.
@@JesseK410 Ah ok. Yeah I just got a G290RC put on my Sport making it a Super Sport now, along with a Sikk Torque pipe, along with some other things such as wider bars. I wanted to put an ADA S1 pipe, but I couldn’t find one, so I just went with the Sikk pipe. Fuckers going to haul ass. I’ve been meaning to mod it for years, but just got around to it.
Both actually lol...if you run the silencer its not so bad but absolutely not as quiet as the stock muffler can. But you could expect 3-5mph out of just tossing a pipe on, give the engine some more fuel and I assume you run a aftermarket air filter already.

Yesir usually just need to give it some more fuel. By turning the H & L speed screws out slightly. But you always wanna check your spark plug to get a good idea of how its running. You dnt want the plug to be white it should be a nice coffee color, light brown is good! I always test mine WOT loaded then instantly kill the engine and pull the spark plug to see. (Make sure you let it cool before touching the spark plug)
Yes it’s normal for a 2 stroke engine to smoke its the oil in the fuel burning off. Perfectly normal in fact if it wasn’t smoking ide be a lil concerned. 🤘🏼

Unfortunately i dont want to sell it. I just built it with all brand new parts from DDM and the rest i had. Its got several discontinued parts i would have a hard time replacing and this build is special to me bc i painted it the same color as my car! 🤘🏼 not for sale sorry man.

I used the spacer and the ADA mount that has the bearing built in..

Ada s2. I have the dominator pipe too. Its basically design just for rc cars thats why its so small..and ohhyeah definitely really loud haha.

Its honestly not to hard. You can always go by what color the plug is to figure out if it’s running lean or rich..

What coil do u have? I like that spark plug cable
I used the factory coil and added the MSD wire and plug cap! Works mint and never falls off its a nice tight fit

What’s top speed
40mph on this one with the S2 and clutch setup could probably go faster with my S1 pipe and removing the clutch
