The first time I ever heard this song was live at Lake Tahoe a few years ago. They performed it beautifully under a memorable moon and sky. I've probably seen Jackson Browne more than a dozen times in 6 different states and this was one of the all-time highlights.

Wow, i,m 73 and been listening to this song for some time now and just have to comment, I remember the 80's oh so vividly, with the ravages of AIDS, and now given our recent history with Covid, not unfamiliar circumstances. What a beautiful song shining light on life, sung by 2 beautiful people. I shed a tear every time I listen to it.

The release of a new Jackson Browne album has been on the horizon for about eighteen months and I had seen the two releases prior to the release of Cleveland Heart video and couldn't wait for new album to come out. When it appeared on UA-cam I played it straight away, having ordered the CD on pre order months previous, but it had been delayed. Anyway had it playing on the TV in the living room while I pottered about doing chores. I was in the kitchen when the fourth track came on and I stopped in my tracks, what the fuck's happened ? There's a female vocal. I thought something had gone wrong on UA-cam and it had jumped into something else. So headed for living room to check and sure enough it was still showing a Jackson Browne track. Strange I thought, until his vocal came in on the second verse. Absolutely love the song. The young lady has an amazing voice, and they work well together. I keep meaning to check her out on UA-cam but haven't got around to it yet. Still trying to get into Pheobe Bridgers and that's tough.
One of the most beautiful duets written and performed by two geniuses. HOw gifted they are and what a gift to be alive at the time they are singing. God bless you both! A fan from Scotland who has heard Jackson for many many years now. A prophet of our times and Lesley is elfish in her eternal soulful voice. Sheer bliss
