    I am more than pleased with my T5-X. Fills in where needed and stays out of the way where not. The crossover is precise and the power is quite surprising. Highly recommended. 😊

    I’m pretty happy with my 98 with my Tannoy Turnberry GR’s. Not sure if more speed is my friend. 🤔

    I really LOVE the look of the Classic 99. I am really torn between the Classic 99 and the S510. I have a pair of Harbeth Compact C7ES-3. My room is around 300 sq feet. Using a Parasound Halo Integrated Amp. I ultimately wish to get a REL stereo pair. I want to start with (1) sub first and am unsure if the Classic 99 or S510 is better suited for the Harbeths? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Truly beautiful products.

    Do you think this would pair well with A pair Cornwall IV. Or maybe the 98? I'm interested in in a subwoofer that would pair well with these speakers. I'm space constricted. So, I can't do a pair of subs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Great audio reproduction is a wonderful experience and I can't wait until I can have that experience with both music and movies. But, how do we know when that happens? Where do we acquire best media, possibly certified, to play thru our systems that would be our standard or reference. Where do we go to hear a 98% perfect system with the perfect media? I think my system and room is only 80% and the next 10% is a major battle to achieve and the next 9% would all out acoustical and financial war.
    So, I have ask you Mr. Hunter, what if happen I could earn the funds needed to buy/install/tune your REL sub(s) in my room; would I get that tight blast of a cannon shot during a movie or the perfect vibrational feel of a Timpani drum or a pleasing note from a Double Bass? I sure would feel my audio journey would have reached its peak if I could get to 92%.

      Thank you for reaching out, and for supporting REL Acoustics. The best option for listening to a top-level audio system in a well-treated room is to visit a dealer in your area, and a full listing of authorized REL dealers can be found on our REL.net website.
      Fortunately today there are many options for finding high-quality source material, though generally speaking digital files downloaded to a hard-drive, or physical media such as a CD or Blu-Ray disc, will provide the highest fidelity of playback quality. At the end of the day, your ears will be the best judge for determining if your own home audio system sounds as good as it can in your own listening environment, and provides as much enjoyment as possible.

      @@RELAcoustics Thanks for the reply, but somewhere on planet Earth there must be a system that is the "Gold Standard" for quality. If not, then all systems are good. Yes, good is subjective. But, there must be the one that all others are gauged by.
      I'm a machinist; If I make part to replicate another part exactly then my parts must an exact replica of the original part. Sure, audio in the air is difficult if not impossible to exactly reproduce, but someone must have gotten really close. I wonder who that could be.
      Thanks again and all the best.

    Awesome stuff guys! Will these subwoofers pair well with Dynaudio Evoke 50 tower speakers or do you recommend the s510 to pair with these? The walnut wood veneer would look beautiful next to my walnut Evoke 50's.

      Thank you for reaching out. The Classic 99 can pair well with your Dynaudio Evoke 50 speakers, though due to the improved speed and responsiveness of it's output we would still recommend the S/510 as being the ideal choice for these speakers.

    Is the speed of the Rel 99 similar to the T9x or the s510?

    • @RELAcoustics
      @RELAcoustics  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for reaching out. While the Classic 99 is fast and responsive in it's output, the T/9x and especially the S/510 would be faster by comparison.

    Regardless of price , this or the S/812 for Multiple speakers in one room , Klipsch Cornwall IV / RF7 III / Triangle Delta / B&W 804 / Harbeth C7ES-3 XD and maybe for future speakers ?

    • @RELAcoustics
      @RELAcoustics  2 місяці тому

      Thank you for reaching out. Based on these speaker options that you mentioned, the S/812 would likely be the preferred option for this system, especially for pairing with the Klipsch Cornwalls due to their exceptionally high efficiency.

    Would you recommend a Classic 98 or a Classic 99 as a center speaker sub or a surround speaker sub in a REL 3D system?

    • @RELAcoustics
      @RELAcoustics  2 місяці тому

      Thank you for reaching out. The Classic 98 and Classic 99 perform very well for supporting the surround speaker channels in a REL-3D system, though for the center channel subwoofer we typically recommend one of our front-firing subwoofers since they are slightly quicker and more articulate in their output, such as the T/7x or the T9x. But for supporting the surround channels, the Classic models can provide deep and dynamic bass that fills a room well.
