Satan's Muffin Man
You only need 50 wins to spawn Wally
Steven M Attrell I can't get passed 15 🤦🏾♂️
I feel your pain. Thank God Sun and Moon let him kick my ass at battle tree.
I was doing good in the battle Maison. Then I had 2 pokemon taken out by Sheer Cold.
+Torva Typical :/
+Torva well that fucking 100% accuracy sheer cold has taken me out too when i was at stage 93
that happened to me too
Oh good alot of other people get taken out by sheer cold I though I sucked.
Aron/greninja takes care of that though
This comment section is giving me a headache and I'm not even a Psyduck.
This made me laugh. LoL
Since when did you had to be a Psyduck to get a headache...
Noveske watch Pokemon then you'll understand that hilarious joke
had this same team lost 2nd battle
Joseph Shortino I had 5-6iv got destroyed with lucky hypnosis spam.
+Potatoman Man omg was it gengar i cant win aginst that thing
sucker punch it
Vifts You cant sucker punch somebody using hypnosis
i know but most gengars arent gonna start off with hypnosis
woah woah woah, its _not_ called the "Battle Mansion"!?
I've been calling it that the whole time. You're not the only one.
+Magmafrost13 Nope. Maison. French for house.
Magmafrost13 lmao 😂
*Nani!?*
Worked! I'm currently at 80 wins with this team.
In fact, there are a few battles I know full fact I would have never one without Blissy and Glicor. This can probably work with any physical and special walls, but those 2 are the best start.
I'm at battle 65 with this team. I made it to 50 with Blissey, Khan and Multiscale Dragonite, but the Gliscor is a fabulous addition. I run mine with poison jab, but I may put Ice fang on it to see how that goes. Great video!
I love this guys interactivity and enthusiasm and how he explains every single thing subscribe and like :)
i got to 49 then somehow lost. so mad
Thank you for doing this.
It's very helpful. I also like your how to get any pokemon for power saves.
You can always use a separate Kangaskan with power-up Punch to sweep the earlier teams, then use a Kangaskan like this for the more advanced teams.
I'm doing what you did, but it's taking me a few tries because I already lost 4 times in a row, but the farthest I made is 21 turns, which I planned to go further than that. But my goal is to just reach 50. If I ever encounter a ghost type Pokemon, I would use my Scrappy ability with the fake out, but once I face with Gengar, it used hypnosis, and I withdrew to Blissy in order to avoid Dream Eater, and I withdraw back to a sleeping Mega Kangaskan to avoid making another Pokemon to fall asleep. It took me several turns to have the Gengar to waste it's hypnosis and dream eater.
I finally happen to reach 50 battles, but on Multi Battle! I did use mega Kangaskan and Blissy, and served Steven as my partner. He would start out with his Aerodactyl and and we would use the flinching technique, giving us the bigger chance to proceed. It really worked very well. Thank you!
Great guide. Thank you!
Buddy thank u . Your team works like a charm . Got 50 wins.
I just subscribed! You are really intelligent!!!
I like to use my perfectly ev and iv bred Greninja. Its speed basically always makes it go first, its ability protean allows it to switch to any type of move i teach it and ive used a wide range of movesets such as - Dark pulse for the physic/ghost types, Surf for the Fire/ground/rock types, Ice beam for the flying/dragon types, and grass knot for the water/ground types but it also works very well against heavy pokemon like legendarys or kangaskans or miltanks blisseys etc. I also give it the focus sash incase it gets outsped and if someone uses explosion
I thought of my own team that also does really good
Greninja:
Moves
Grass Knot
Ice Beam
Dark Pulse
Scald
EV Training: Sp.Atk, Speed
Ability: Protean
Item: Idk, anything really
Garchomp:
Moves
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Swords Dance
Dragon Claw
EV Training: Attack, Speed
Ability: Sand Veil
Item: Rocky Helmet
Mawile:
Moves
Substitute
Sucker Punch
Iron Head
Play Rough
EV Training: Attack, a bit into Defence and a bit into Sp Def
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Mawilite
U start off by sending out Greninja, just keep battling or send out another Pokemon, BUT Ur Mawile is AWESOME, it one shots most things and since Poison and Steel aren't very common u could just keep using Play Rough...
Ya That's what works for me really good 🤓
@FAIRY TAIL FOR LIFE Rough Skin can stack with Rocky Helmet. But Sand Veil may be also useful when the opponent brings a pokemon with Sand Stream. Even though it's rare it's still a good strategy.
This actually works! Thanks a lot ^^
I got a shiny gligar before the one with good ivs em + nature
I always had trouble with the Battle Maison in the past, so I built this exact team and it's working out perfectly so far! I'm up to about 90 or so. Thanks for the help!
+DukeDarkshadow Figures. As soon as I post this, I end up losing on battle 89. I got screwed over so badly! I sent out Kangaskhan first against a Rhyperior. I obviously use Fake Out first and follow up with Earthquake, but his incredible defense only takes him down halfway and he hits me with a Stone Edge that almost takes me out in one hit. I hit a second Earthquake and finish him off, and out comes Arcanine. Kangaskhan is almost fainted at this point, so I go for Sucker Punch to get some damage in before I die, but Arcanine's Extremespeed out-prioritizes me and takes my Kangaskhan out. So I switch in Gliscor and go right for Earthquake which was a huge mistake. If I had gone for Protect, my Poison Heal would have kicked in. But since I used Earthquake instead, Arcanine countered with Flare Blitz which burned my Gliscor rendering him useless!!! On top of that, he took out Blissey in one hit with a Close Combat. ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! So pissed off!!!
I did it man. Thanks for your help.
Thanks! Helps a lot!
This makes me picture Kangaskhan Blissey and Gliscor with machine guns fighting off an endless horde of zombies
You could also simply use a mega beedrill with +atk and -special atk with physical moves like
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run
- X Scissor
And make sure to have Swords Dance in beedrill's moveset
------------------------------------------------------
By using this, you will definitely one shot every opposing pokemon
beedrill doesnt get swords dance nor could it set up a SD because its defense is so low
@@JustinL186 TM it
@@kliop00023 it does not learn it
Thanks man! got some good amount of points :)
The Trick I learned to sweep through
is The best TMs and using leftovers. black sludge. Pokemon that can heal themselves from certain moves combined those and boom you can sweep through and win.
good video but if your really smart with using certain pokemon, the right TMs and moves plus items.
you can get a good streak .
50 victories with your strategy thx
A nice vid. I'll try the team out. :)
Nothing like using the GTS to trade myself a poison heal Gliscor
Could you give me one too? Plssss
Still waiting for an answer :(
@@enes7640 i can give you one
@@panoskast9949 I aint need it anymore but still thanks a lot mate
@@panoskast9949 you guys still play 🥺
How to win:
Get yourself a Salamence, give it a megastone.
Find a mon that fits your style and that can take ice and dragon moves (in my case Scizor).
Get a strong filler, preferably with strong priority (for me Talonflame).
1 vs 3 the entire mansion with mence and/or finish whats left with the remaining team.
Mega Kanga works too i guess... it almost rivals mence in terms of beeing broken.
Good part is, no long stall battles.
Just got to 110 with this team, and haven't lost yet, so I will try to get to 200 with it.
However, I must say that actually used it for battles 50 and above (because I got to 50 with a faster-paced team).
I achieved a 50 winning streak for singles. And now I'm done with the battles maison.
My team was Mega Blastoise (Scald, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Rapid Spin)
Whimsicott (Encore, Substitute, Psychic, Leech Seed)
Krookodile (Earthquake, Knock Off, Pursuit, Stone Edge)
That was just BRUTAL... but I actually got luckier than the game more often than not.
Conkeldurr w/ Ice Punch (To handle the Gliscor) completely checks your entire team. That's the only obvious way that I can see your team being beaten by. Other than that, a flawless team!
I used this team but modded it a bit, I changed blissey for an assault vest sylveon with pixilate ability, now this will draw more poison types so I changed Return to Facade as when they use toxic on Khangaskhan Facade is mostly a OHKO, I reached the 50 mark and continuing!!!
Good pokemon for the battle maison! Could you make a guide about building a type based team (single, duel, and triple)? (smogon ou please) I'm trying to build teams to become a gym leader.
If you lose don't get discouraged keep trying that is truly the only thing you need to win, I finally was able to beat all the maison monuments.
I just put all the legendary Pokémon that aren't banned in my team
Caprisun Succ like what
@@kingadri9 latios, latias, the regi trio maybe
Hopefully someone responds to me after two years, as I am replying to someone two years after that person replied to someone two years prior to that
@@xvvx641 do you do doubles or singles, I prefer doubles, regigigas skill swap with uxie then skill swap again with opposing mon and then i have mega latios and mega salamence
@@xvvx641 notably you can use the legendary birds, the dog trio, landurous, and his trio, the lake trio, heatran and some more probably
and the better ev. distribution for gliscor is : hp 252, atk 20, def 230, sp def 4, spd 4, which took 2 from def and made no differences in stat when its lvl 50 and put the last 2 ev into sp def to make the stat up by 1
I was only able to get a 51 steak with my Garchomp with choice scarf, Starmine and Charizard...
Thx for the informing vid.
I got ORAS opening week. Its April 11, 2020 while in quarantine I FINALLY unlocked Wally!!! Battled him once and now hes an npc I regularly ignore. Awww yeah😎
Awesome im going to try it out today !! My highest is 24 :3
But with that team i hope i get 50+
Ruben Lopez As I eat this sandwich, I wish you the best of luck.
I just now bought OR, trying to get back into competitions (I used to go to the VGC, every year since 2008). I am making this team to test out and get BP. If it doesn't work, IT'S ON YOU BRO! Just kidding. Love your voice.
I am having a hard time using the team and what would you recommend on how to get better at using the team. I was also wondering what pokemon other than the three do you have on your team
I used your team and on my 20th streak they brought out a Blazekin and it destroyed my entire team in one shot, even blissey.
If you're following along with this video, then I assume Gliscor's nature would be Impish, since Impish raises defense while lowering special attack. The video's move-set is entirely physically based, so that's what I assume its nature to be, since I don't seem to recall the video mentioning Gliscor's nature.
He's definitely impish :) I forgot to mention that in the video lol
Oh wow, thanks for replying on such an old video; I'm currently using your video as a guide, so thanks for making it!
First time playing in the Maison I lost to the Normal Singless boss because I wasn't taking it seriously and I'm not sure if my team was even EV trained right.
After that wake up call I trained them up and even transferred my badass veteran team from Black 2 that claps in the PWT (Flame Orb Heracross being the MVP)
Now for the Super challenges I'm gonna use some of the old boys from Platinum (something busted like Tyranitar, Garchomp and Excadrill in the sand) and even my Emerald Blaziken that got the time travel diploma and a sweet Blazikenite.
I have luck with a fake out team in triples. Meinshao w focus sash choice scarf typlosion mat block greninja kings rock up font. Lopunny fling fang Mega khangiskahn banded terrakion in rear. Lots of fake out's. Sweep with typlosion and terrakion in middle. Fake out threats. Greninjas water shuriken is savage with kings rock. Dark Pulse too. Got up past 50 consistently, and quicker than most strategy.
I am going to make this team dammit
awesome team bro
you have just gained a subscriber
i tried my own team with metagross, noivern and darmanitan only got 33 wins
And here I was, using Gardevoir, Milotic, and Dragonite for the Battle Maison only to lose at battle 67. I need to get out of 66 wins; I don't like 66.
instead of Gliscor I used a Bold nature Tropius, max ev trained in defense and SpDef, harvest ability, sitruss berry. As for tje move set: Air Slash, Leech Seed, Protect, Substitute
also the main problem when it comes to the battle resort... I keep getting killed around 20-40 cause mostly I lose due to getting hit by one hit ko moves...
ive used this exact team and i have lost twice
Kangaskhan doesn't get stone edge. That would be weird so that's why you use earthquake, NOT stone edge.
would you happen to have an extra hidden ability gligar i could raise?
None of kangaskhan's moves hit fakeout only works once for battle and sucker punch isn't 100% accurate return doesn't affect certain pokemon either
You couldve mentioned that ice fang is an egg move before i got a level 100 ha 4iv gliscor
F
You can go to Fallarbor Town and trade a heart smale for an old move
Scale*
Just a question, what can I use to replace Blissey's Seismic Toss? I didn't do enough research to see that it was supposed to be am egg move. Plus, I don't have a Mawile to pass it to her. :(
Aromatherapy
I lost to a damn type changing ice beaming greninja >_>
Tried to avoid using this team since I feel that it's going to take a very long time to get to 200 due to having to rely on Toxic damage for some of the later battles. But after getting to 184 wins and having the Maison steal (not earn) a win from me, I think I'll go with it.
Did you manage?
Blissey should be calm because Blissey has extreme sp. defense.
Blissey's base defense in a weak 10.
I got my 200 win streak that way and it wasn't hard at all just time consuming
The farthest I went so far is either 34 or 35 battles and lost from that Samurott since my Kangaskan already fainted. It's really harder than I thought. It's such a pain and I haven't even reach 40 yet! I only went through 30 twice! I really kept on trying and things just to to get in my way. It's really stressful, but j tried not to give up, even if I have to start all the way over dang it! This was a huge help! I still need to keep on trying no matter how long and hard it takes.
+TheColossalD I like your mentality.
Sarg ent I happen to reach up to 50 streaks on multi battle with Steven as my partner thanks to his Aerodactyl with the flinching technique.
Even tho I’ve never defeated the battle maison I think this would be better
Mega Charizard x with jolly nature: hone claws, fire punch, dragon claw and earthquake
Aegislash with adamant nature and power orb: swords dance, shadow sneak, sacred sword and kings shield
Sylveon with modest nature, pixilate ability and pixie plate: hyper voice, shadow ball, calm mind and hidden power (ground)
I was having trouble getting motivation to train some new pokemon after X and Y. But I got some now
james bruce Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! :D
I have just been playing showdown atm so Thx
well theres just one problem....
this pokemon can only be find in xy and you need to trade it to oras
thanks a lot!
one of my strategies was to have my septile spam earthquake while my salamence got the grass and levitating pokemon with flamethrower but they started spaming frosslasses on me.
I use double battles double rock slide with aero and archen evo
This team is ridiculously good. Although, Chansey with eviolite is better than Blissey.
*One Pokemon that you will not be able to beat later on (around mid 80s wins) unless you save your scrappy Kang is a stall, hypnosis, toxic, dream eater (I think it might have shadow ball, or sludge bomb, too) Gengar.*
You can't seismic toss toss it, you can't toxic it, you can't earthquake it, you can't sucker punch it, and Gliscor's aerial ace is really the only thing you can rely on, but even then, Gliscor is your Defense stall with less Sp Def than Adamant Kang.
I replaced Protect with Swords Dance on my GLISCOR buddy.
So you don't ever get Fake Outed first turn or any first turn move keep Blaziken in front of party for that reason and protect also will raise speed ever turn
With Gliscor couldn't u use Substitute, Swords Dance, Protect and Facade with a toxic orb and toxic heal?
malamar F
contrary
adamant
slash
psycho cut
foul play
superpower
is this good for the battles?
What nature should I get for gligar so I can evolve it and go to battle maison? Also for happiny
KoiandDragon, you're an fan of Enzo Amore?!?!
would this work for any battle or single only? i usually do double thats why
10/10 strategy. Thanks so much KoiandDragon!
I had the Kangaskhan and Gliscor ready to go, just needed to breed a Blissey. Also the logic behind not using Powerup Punch was really worth it - I would always try to snag a boost with it, only to get OHKOed or forced out.
Got my Super Singles trophy finally, after struggling for over a month with several different teams and only getting as far as 42 and losing to hax or type disadvantages each time.
One more thing: there's a spreadsheet I got from a Smogon forum that allows you to search a Trainer name and Pokémon name to find out movesets. It makes fights much easier because you can predict the opponent's moves or work around their items.
lmgtfy.com/?q=Smogon+Battle+Maison+Spreadsheet#
I feel that chansey with eviolite would be better than blissy with leftovers
Been a while since it released
I have 2 toxic stallers. One is Cradily and the other is Milotic. My mega is Mega Banette.
Cult Of Malgus
I know this is old, but what does m-Bannette bring to the table, I want to try it out
Where do u find the razor fang to evolve gligar? And awesome video
i think in the battle maison
Where can you even get kangaskhan in oras
truant durant is much better Imo, all you need is to choice scarf it, entrainment, swap out, protect, set up, repeat until max stats and sweep ^^
NickThe Ninja That isn't a full proof strategy. Magic Bounce leads render Entrainment completely useless. Pokemon that use Protect on the first turn leave Durant helpless on its Truant turn. Also Pokemon with Sturdy or Focus Sashes are an issue unless you're using something like Cloyster or Mega Kangaskhan that can hit more than once
I won muti battle with glalie and Kabutops with Steven 100 streak
Alright I have a Kangaston and a Blissey. All I need in a Gliscor. Just need to check on the old GTS to see what I can trade for it. Hmmmm....Everyone here wants a legendary for it....why?
I think it's ridiculaus that their little poliwag can one hit a fully evolves fully ev pokemon
I have this exact team and I can't get past a streak above 30. I've lost to Alakazam, Mamoswine, Hydreigon, Politoed, and Rypherior. Any help?
Can you get the expert battler ribbon even if you change your team during the streak.
@KolandDragon Does Gliscor's Nature matter? I've got tons of Immunity Gligars & NONE of them have Impish! I've been breeding Gligars ALL DAMN DAY!!! Can I settle for Quirky or do I NEED Impish?
Atomic_Thomas Please Reply...
Atomic_Thomas Yeah, you probably should, because Natures really do matter.
There are a lot of flaws in this team especially going up against most of the teams the Battle Maison dishes out. Any speedy physical attacker with ice punch and some sort of fighting move can sweep easily. Gliscor is by far one of the best Maison Pokemon I've ever used. it's just a hard toss up between Ice Fang/Aerial Ace/Fire Fang/U-Turn. All good moves but it's impossible to pick a definite team that will 100% win. The Maison knows how to cheat, it knows what to dish out to piss you off.
personally proved that this team can reach 50 wins=] thx for the suggestions btw, but i hv no idea wt will happen in the future as i go further, may be many 1hko ice moves and shit? that would really suck.
+Jackei Lau
There's a few physical and special walls that you may not get by if you have a team full of sweepers.
The one that comes to mind to me is a Dusknoir with Toxic, Pain Split and Rest that would have cut through my team with ease without reliable recovery and a Toxic user of my own.
There's also a few Sheer Cold and Fissure users later on when you hit the 60's or so, but they didn't give me as much trouble.
My gliscor has hyper cutter and not poison heal is that still ok?
I know this video is pretty old but wouldn't a chansey with eviolite be better than the blissey? It has more Defense and Special Defense and only sacrifices a little bit of hp.
I know this comment is pretty old, but it's a matter of play style. Very true that Chansey's Defense and Special Defense with Eviolite beat out Blissey, but you lose the Leftovers recovery - which could potentially be huge. As with every decision in crafting a Pokemon team, it's all about preference and style.
@@freeflyonhigh Blissey also got better Special Attack
Power up punch on mega kangaskan is better
I used my team and got to 197 and then after that I could get any more wins and I tried this out, rn I'm at 122.
that moment when you catch 12 Kangaskhan's and none have adamant nature :(
Dingo General breed don’t waste money xD
I keep going over and over your video but I can't find what nature you used for your Gliscor.
Impish
ik im a little bit late lmao but im really struggling to get gliscor and chansey in oras, i transferred kangaskhan from y but cant find any blisseys/gliscors/gligars on gts or on any pokemon ds games i have. Any help?
Gliscor cant be found on all gen 6 games but you can catch a glligar in Pokemon x or y then evolve it into gliscor, as for blissey, it can only be catch on certain mirage spots on pokemon ORAS
"Penetrate through the attraction." :D
