Running Commentator: The next competitor is over 90 kilos. Color Commentator: He's pretty big. Running Commentator: What does he need to do here? Color Commentator: (laughs) Well... (literally trails off and doesn't say anything)
Yeah, at around 1:00:45 Verzbickas knee snapped. It looked to me he had plenty of opportunities to tap out; he just didn't want to. The first was at 59:28, leg fully extended (very dangerous) but didn't tap. Then, at 1:00:21 (almost a full minute later) leg fully extended, still no tap! Then, at 1:00:38, he had a fully extended leg again and Jones gave him 6-7 seconds to tap. Verzbickas was being stupid at this point: didn't tap, so knee was gradually extended until it cracked at 1:00:45. I don't fault Jones for this. BJJ is a SUBMISSION sport. If you're given fair warning and don't tap, you get broken!
Surprised they banned heel hooks, but to be fair, even a trained fighter can have a hard time knowing to tap to it because there is no pain compliance before their leg is wrecked.
Didn't know about Quintet until I heard Eddie Bravo talk about it on JRE last week.
Similarly here, it just popped up on my recommended and I was like "wtf is this, why have I never heard of this" :P
AND IT’S RUN BY SAKURABA?!?! HOW DO I BUY MY TICKET?!?!?!?!
Yo my man Stewart Fulton trying his hardest to make mei say more than a couple words at a time
She's a terrible announcer and unfortunately meisha wasn't that much better either
I like to see fighters over 40 still competing, that make me think I could keep training too
I know a guy who started at 41 and now keeps winning Gold medals at big tournaments as a 46 year old!
Sakuraba is super classy, what a legend!
I’m pleased with how this looks 😅
The best, most important part of a whole new game.

I love this format
Thanks so much for uploading this 😊🙏
Sakkkuuuraaaabbaaaaa!!!!!😊❤😊❤😊😜
Craig Jones popped homies knee, you can hear it.

That was very loud I am actually surprised he could stand up
Craig is just amazing omg and Hideo Tokoro was just amazing too even outweighed fought well but Dan Strauss is just very strong and skilled.
Respect to both
It is crazy how good Craig Jones is. Taps out Marcus Sousa in less than a minute.
Souza is soft. Sprawled out on the ground lay dying from an eye poke.
Nakamura why don’t you do standing passes....
It is good that they actually demonste and explain illegal movements to audience before starting.
Great Jiu Jitsu but the color commentary is not very informative
Thanks
This is so much fun!!!
excellent rule set
Thanks for the upload :)
32:42 those two are 40 and 41 years old??? No white hair, no wrinkles, they look like 25!!!
This is normal for Asian men...
If you look closely, he looks younger than the average Asian man! I thought to myself.😆

Legendary
Great event and fighters...
only 10th planet can match polaris line up, but still polaris still won.
Poor ishii lol he always gets a 4 minute rounds, his potential always gets wasted. They just have to defend for 4 minutes and he is out.
I think they could fix that but introducing a rule that the heaviest fighter starts first on both teams
Lmao announcers have no idea what the submission was at 1:19:00
Me neither, what was it?
Removing heel hooks was stupid in my opinion, they are fun.
SMewth aZ a ghOst oN roLler sketz! 👻
Lady commentator is clueless
Mei 'Uhuh' Yamaguchi, lmao.
Good
Pff Team Polaris is so strong insane
I want more
Just so the top comment doesn't spoil the results for you... 😉
This rule format doesn’t DQ you if all you do the whole time is defend and run away. That’s a big flaw.
Problem with this is that, when someone is heavy, 4 min round they just drag the game untill time end.
