      This was the first time I saw this fight, and I have to say I lost every drop of respect and sympathy towards Haisam (that I didn't even knew I had to begin with).
      And that's so true, I can't stand to roll with ppl like Haisam. Injury risk is pretty high. 😅

      Not to defend his poor attitude, but to be fair, someone as competitive and skilled would be frustrated when your opponent is just hiding in his turtle shell till the time runs out. That is the sport and its fair game, but I can understand how Haisam felt too.

      My only complaint is the short time limit for each match, and the way they handle a tie breaker. Also feel cages are better suited to prevent going out of bounds and needing stops for stand-ups or repositioning.

    Commentators: this new haisam, he's calm, he's technical, it's almost like we're looking at a new fighter... Rida then rocks richie in the mouth with an elbow, super aggressive collar ties and then just starts shoving. Then after going the distance, walks away from his team crying. That's some embarrassing shit. Learned nothing from training with Craig i guess...

    I love the format that quintet provides. I wish that more organizations adopted this style here in the states.
    Imagine the same weight restrictions, however, I go against local teams with a representative from each belt. So I would be the black belt instructor, choose a brown belt from the Academy, a purple belt, and so on. That would be awesome.

      In the end you would get a lot of brown and black belts competing with blue belts. Carlson Gracie was famous for shenanigans like these, putting monster brown belts against blues. Competitition dude

      Well, our guys compete regularly and are known at there belt rank. I’m not saying your wrong, but our Blue Belt just took IBJJF worlds (at adult).
      …and most of the meaningful academies in our (Bay) area, from CTA to Gorilla, also have well established schools/teams. Especially with the guys within the IBJJF ranking system. So I don’t know.

      I’m not sure if people know but Eddie is broken . I also think the usage of juice has saved sakus body over the years . I could be wrong but I remember listening to a podcast where Eddie talked about injuries and It made me think if I wanted to continue jui jitsu .

    There is a cowardice when it comes to disqualifying people in BJJ and I don't get why. I am a fan of Rida but he should have gotten a warning right from the start for the slap and immediately disqualified for the elbow. This is not MMA, and that nonsense makes things personal. Complete class from Boogeyman, dude stayed composed even though Rida deserved to get punched in the face.

      Probably angry with both Richie and the referee. The interlocking fingers shenanigans, the almost constant backing away from Richie (he can just stall since 10th Planet was in the lead) and the ref standing them up while he has a dominant position. Rida really needs to learn to control his temper better. Opponents are going to be annoying/shady occasionally, but that doesn’t make okay to storm of pouting like a child afterwards.
