Honestly I was very disappointed with this episode because of what they're doing to Dany's character, and of course the pet abandonment and the deaths. Cersei should not be the smartest person on the show but I guess since she has been outsmarting every one, she deserves the Iron Throne. She could kill Jon and his ungrateful ass for all I care now.

He always felt bad about that, in the books he gets super jealous when Arya meets a little lord and it's obvious he hates it because he feels inferior and like he has no chance. It was still stupid, but understandable imo. I still have the hope he maybe gives up his lordship and goes with her to know what is west of Westeros. I'm a little scared he ends up marrying Sansa tbh

I feel the same if only he didn't add the be the Lady of Stormsend bit he might of had a better chance. I feel like she only said no because she wanted to protect him keep him safe away from Cersei, cuz if she said yes but only after defeating Cersei he would of gone with her to defeat Cersei. And also said no because she thinks she might not even make it back alive. Maybe save him the heartbreak of watching her die by causing him heartbreak to stay away. Her list has always been her mission once that's complete she'll feel like she can have a life knowing her family is safe from anyone who would hurt them.
I think Maisie said before season 8 Arya's goals have changed? Didn't she?
And her kill list was everything to her so maybe something changes her mind or Cersei gets killed by someone else so she goes back to Gendry. Or maybe Gendry doesn't become Lord & they travel hence him saying, 'It wouldn't mean anything if your not with me' so he proves it by not being Lord. It would be sweet if the 'I've never had a family' speech got them back together some how.

LMAO that skit was hilarious and Rana is looking good! LOL nice to see Suraj on Team Sansa. Good on picking up on Jon's Ned Stark-isms. I think Jon felt like the honorable thing to do was tell Sansa and Arya because they're trueborn Starks. I think at this point he feels like the North wasn't really his to give away to Daenerys. Jon underestimates Sansa like how Ned underestimated Cersei. Daenerys was right in her assessment about Sansa even though I agree that Jon should keep it real. I don't think he wanted to live with the fact knowing that he pledged away the North when he's actually a Targaryen. They followed him because they believed he was Ned Stark's son so he feels like he put his people in a murky situation. I think Jon is trying to convince himself that he made the right choice in supporting Daenerys too because she's been really intense with him. He needed her against the dead but now he's kind of looking at her funny. I also think Sansa's side eye when Dany legitimized Daenerys was her understanding what Dany is doing. She knows Dany is losing allies and she knows that Dany is alone. Sansa grew up in Westeros, she knows how these people are and how things play out when it comes to family loyalty. Sansa understands now that her strength comes with her family being strong an united. Dany does not have a family.
Gendry got down on his knee and proposed to Arya Stark. Yeah she said no, but she still kissed him. The love is there, but she doesn't think she fits as a lady and she has unfinished business. Which means Gendry probably rejects the title or Arya changes her mind once she completes her list.

Jon also makes stupid mistakes that get people killed when he is provoked. He abandoned the only plan they had in the battle of the bastards all because Ramsay knew what he was doing. Sansa knew better though. I feel like Sansa is the only rational thinker left to take the throne, and she's learned so much. I think she'll be like Queen Elizabeth I.

Never thought I'd say it but........I'm gonna bail out now. I feared this would happen, especially with the show ending. What was that someone said......if u think this has a happy ending...etc. I can see now what the writers are doing/done. THIS episode is the last I'm watching this season. They have it in for my fav's & I'm not about to witness their demise. We lost Rhaegal & Missande(WHY??) so Dany is obviously going to ignore Tyrion & Vary's & go fuck-up KL, killing that bitch & Jaimie(mutherfucker) too hopefully...that is IF there isn't a mutiny beforehand. Jon was naive in trusting Sansa(now my least fav character) Vary's & Tyrion's u-turn within 5sec's of hearing the truth is another major foreshadowing. Dany is done for, this is clear, losing those two will send her over the edge. The mad queen theory(I suspect it's a spoiler) were right. I'm not watching Dany turn into Cersei, smh. It's gonna get VERY messy people. I've had my head in the clouds a little hoping for a satisfactory conclusion..........then I remembered this is Thrones, the've broken my heart how many times already. Damn fucking shame really.

I was doing a post discussion with friends after this ep, we thought what could happen is this: is dany executes varys and assaults kings landing. Tyrion will beg dany to stop, so he well then free Jaime to get cersei out of the city. Kings landing is wrecked in battle. Hound fights mountain in cleganebowl and they both die. Jaime fights euron and kills him, but is fatally wounded. Jaimie and cersei die together by drinking poison. Dany is killing everyone in kings landing and saves burn them all with her one dragon. Tyrion convinces jon to commit treason and put an end to danys madness.jon tries to reason with her but to no avail. He then pledges his loyalty to her before stabbing and surrendering himself for the treason. Iron throne becomes a democracy made of a council of tyrion, davos, sam and bronn. Tyrion gives a speech and the king is voted rather than claimed through conquering. Bran is the king of the seven kingdoms. For his crimes jon takes back castle black. Arya leaves for her own journey, sansa rules the north as she wished. It just seems like the ending to the show is so predictable and they laid ground work in this season so these events to happen.

@@Thenormies Yeah, the Lord of Light theme that is usually played in the same scene where there is a Red priestess (mostly Melisandre) and Stannis Baratheon. For Stannis, there is a track that was made specifically for him that was a modified version of the Lord of Light theme. It's called "Warrior of Light". Night King track makes you sad. Lord of Light track gives you chills. This show has everything. I'd definitely go to his live concert myself if I wasn't lazy.

WHY is it such a big deal? He was a sworn member of the nights watch he was LORD commander he can fall back on his vows. Not only that but aemon refused the thrown when it was rightfully his. they have loopholes out of this.
Cheezeblade but Dany is right, it won’t matter what he wants. It already has started where Sansa is trying to get people (Tyrion) to back Jon and help put him on the throne even though he has stated he didn’t want it. If they get Dany killed he will truly not have a choice. And I know people like Varys and Sansa are very willing to have that happen to make Jon take the throne.
