You can call Arya a DEM in S8E3 depending on how reasonable you think the events were; it has nothing to do with a plot being "canon". The power of resurrection was revealed to exist earlier in the story before Jon's death - having him revived was an arbitrary choice that was not necessarily problematic or illogical, and thus not indisputably a DEM.
Arya has become sort of a Mary Sue figure, but she hasn't always been this way and used to have to deal with her flaws and pains and face formidable challenges.

@@KingLoki95 They are making this final season without the brilliance of George RR Martin, although he did tell them some major plot points. So I wouldn't be too harsh on "the writing." An episode being sad doesn't mean it's terrible writing. I think it's because they are cramming this season a little. (I must admit, though, I was extremely disappointed with Littlefinger's death, and blame that on the writing)
I swear if they go with this whole “Dany is the mad queen and Jon will kill her” thing I just wasted 8 years of my life. Great

@@StabU2Death The vision was actually in Season 2, and if you remember, she didn't actually get the throne in the vision. She was close enough to touch it, but chose not to. The throne room was also covered with snow. I think Dany will either die, or willingly choose to give the throne to Jon. She's becoming more and more power-hungry and like her father though, so I don't think the latter is likely.

There's no meaning behind it. It's just cheaper to have a non-interactive Ghost inserted in post-production than it is to have an actual motion-capture actor in a green screen suit just for a 3-second "pet the dog" moment. They're rushing through this; that's why they couldn't even bother to edit out the Starbucks cup gaff.

@besixdouze I feel the same. Things are so rushed that in one episode, everyone's forgotten about the throne, they are fighting literally dead people and tens of thousands get killed in the fighting. The very next episode, 10 mins of celebrating and then in the same episode they make it all the way down south to Kings landing again. In the span of a single episode. There is no reason for things to be moving this fast but they have to bunch all this BS into 60-80 min time frames just because they want to be done with the show. It's sad
