Guys the only alternative for full screen atm is using theater mode on UA-cam in big screen
Just got a quest 2 this thing is freaking AWESOME! Now I'm probably gonna have to grab a 2nd one for my father and me to be able to do multiplayer. :)
does anyone know how to put it in full screen??
Just use the actual youtube app
Lets get twitch in there too n then the full google browser
they forgot to add 3D settings to it :(
And 360. Shared 360 video. Its a VR social video app....without shared 360 video. They keep missing some of the most powerful advantages of doing all this in VR in the first place.

They’ve neutered this with the last update. You can’t watch videos in full screen. You can’t even watch movies in HD now. God, why would they do that?? This was one of coolest new things to come to Quest 2 and they’ve completely ruined it for seemingly no reason.
Edit: they’ve issued a new update that restored the full screen option. Still can’t watch movies in HD, and the layout isn’t as good what we had before (imo), but I’m happy to at least have the full screen back.

I’ve reached out to the Big Screen guys through their support email. Don’t know if I’ll get a response or not, but I figured it’s worth a shot. I hope that they’ll change it back to the way it was.

Just tried it and it was mind-blowing. The environments you can choose from are 1000 times more inviting than what looks like the inside of a UFO-spaceship with youtube vr app. I selected living room, side-room, and various other environments and you felt you can just chill and watch videos. Both youtube VR and Netflix VR apps are just creepy. The type of environment in which you watch the movie can dramatically enhance the experience of the video.
the quest youtube vr app is not great... this will be interesting
What's not great about UA-cam app on Oculus I find it very good and don't have a problem with it
@@jonnyplaysvr8165 constantly going to low video quality and glitchy and 360 3d doesn't work

I can’t do big screen
For some reason full screen is greyed out on UA-cam in Big Screen for me. Any idea why?

VR is great. UA-cam is VR is crap. It's just low quality video that does nothing to take advantage of AR, usually in a version of UA-cam that's worse to navigate than on your normal PC or whatever. Not sold on this one. Although there are a handful of decent 360 UA-cam videos, so here's hoping they take advantage of those in some way at least--although properly not if you're just watching with another person.
Absolutely 100% correct. UA-cam vr is so disappointing. Nothing has been improved and nothing new has been added. The browsing method is awkward. Oculus has very little experience apps and limited vr documentaries .therefore when I heard of UA-cam vr I was expecting a amazing experience which I believed will be dedicated to vr . I was expecting good quality 3d 180 content and good quality other types of content related to vr. Months and months later its all the same stuff very sad . Gear vr had more content than the oculus quest. They still haven't imported amaze tv as yet .

Nothing amazing about this . The UA-cam vr app should be improved more because there is no good quality vr content on it. The 180 3d videos in library after searching are the same old from years ago Nothing new has been added and the 360 videos are poor quality and very limited content. It's not actually dedicated to vr and as you scroll along it takes you to the normal videos which you can view on your handset. This big screen UA-cam update isn't impressive either. You simply going to watch Yt in theatrical surroundings with people deciding and trying to make up their minds what to watch or show others what to watch. My experience with big screen in general has been poor the movies always buffer and poor quality experience
