- Here it is, my Christmas special. In this episode I'm talking to Rebecca Nagan, Robin Stevens and Neil Brewer about their time on Rosie and Jim.
Loved listening to this! I’m 32 years old now and I showed my 2.5 year son Rosie and Jim and he loves it… just goes to show how timeless the show is. Wish we could get this on Netflix or some sort of streaming platform
I think we NEED a new Rosie and Jim series purely for the nostalgia and it would be so lovely for children of this generation to see. This interview was just wonderful as I grew up watching Rosie and Jim as they were a huge part of my childhood and I would love to meet these three amazing people one day :)
Another wonderful interview! It's so great hearing the genuine love these people have for the fantastic children's telly they helped to create. Neil saying he wishes he could go back and do it all over again actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I found your channel, it truly is a treasure trove for those of us who grew up with these shows. :)
I have to say Jack that is the best interview you've done yet. 3 guests in one podcast makes triple the laughs along the way. You should try that again in the future.

I had been looking forward to seeing a Robin Stevens interview on here for a while as he was on two of my favourite shows as a kid (Tots TV was the other) so I was pleasantly surprised to see this video. It did not disappoint!
They seem like lovely people and I hope they do something Rosie and Jim related in the future.
This is taking me back to the fourth grade! My dad just switched my family from Dish Networks to Bright House Networks (it's called Spectrum now) on Valentine's Day 2008 and I spend the day eating all the candy I got from my school party. A few days later I come home from school and find BBC Kids on Demand on the Kids on Demand, and there's one show called Rosie and Jim and I had heard so much about it from the Internet but never watched an episode, and I remember I watched every single episode over and over and over again on demand, I'd rush home from school to see what John was up to and if Rosie and Jim were going to be discovered but they never were!
I only watched John and a bit of Neil and Pat, but years later I actually watched the Neil episodes while going through my uploads.
This interview has made 10 year old me very happy!

Rosie, Jim and Neil were top entertainers who entertained a whole bunch of children from all over the UK and they were and still are national legends of children's television.
Glad to have this podcast with Robin Stevens with his real voice. I'm hoping you could eventually do a podcast interviewing Richard Waites (the actor of Cuthbert Lilly in Zzzap! Hamilton Dent in No. 73 and The Commander on Parallel 9 etc.) in near future.

Robin Stevens even appeared in a few Rosie and Jim eps as cameos such as the policeman in the Hats episode with John, and a man resting by the river in the brass band episode with Neil

You should make another video like this but this time get Anne Wood founder of Ragdoll Productions onto the podcast because she was a role model of children's television programmes and she made many great children's shows including the likes of Tots TV, Rosie and Jim and Brum plus many more as well.

It has taken me until I got to 31 to twig that Jim, Tom and Pob all have the same voice artist . How did I as a 90's kid miss that ?

Thank you so much for uploading this to UA-cam I was wondering whether it would be possible to do a podcast on Anne Wood the founder of Ragdoll Productions because she produced iconic television programmes for children from the likes of Tots TV, Rosie and Jim and Brum plus many more great pre-school programmes.
I absolutely love that podcast it is fantastic and great to listen to I was wondering whether it would be possible to do an individual podcast where you interview Robin Stevens himself because it would be great to hear about his journey on Tots TV as well as other children's television programmes he starred in it would also be great to interview Neil Brewer himself as there are some things about Rosie and Jim which I have always wanted to know for example what it was like having to learn all the different songs for each episode of the series it would also be great to hear Neil playing them on the concertina if he still remembers how they went.
