Knightmare was favourite loved that show as I was total heroquest role playing nerd when I was a kid

I really can't believe there aren't many UK kid channels anymore which is crazy first Pop Girls removed then Kix, and now CITV channel is gone forever, why are they doing this because if they keep removing kids channel then there won't be any past cartoons/anime on freeview freesat to watched. What has happen to the old days when there are more cartoons to watched on the weekend just like in the 90s/ 2000.

Francis's puppet characters were the best in my childhood. I still get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye smiling when thinking on Francis Wright singing Wishing as the Psammead.

I love the Thomas advert and it’s funny that Micheal Angelis is mostly taking quotes from series 2 of the show which was narrated by Ringo Starr

I knew I wasn't deluding that Muller Rice ad with the mouse, I've not been able to find it on UA-cam. Also, man, whatever happened to the Wonkalate, Bursting Bugs, and the Campino's strawberries and cream sweets? They just up and vanished, though it's the Wonkalate I can taste the most from memory, and in general, it'd be nice to get the old Wonka chocolate bars back, especially with the recent Wonka movie keeping it relevant.

I nearly choked to death on one of those campino things in the passenger seat when i was a kid. Completely forgoet the name until i saw the thumbnail. Those things were lethal man no wonder they dissapeared soon after coming out.

Man, ads really seemed quieter back then, they weren't trying to be annoying, loud, or overly long spectacles for something mundane, just a quick show of what they had whilst trying to fit in a bit of fun. Also, that Tesco ad got a laugh from me given to get the best prices now requires their club-card.

What a lovely bloke Tim is. I didn't watch Mike & Angelo as much as other CITV shows but i do feel really strong nostalgia for it, especially the theme tune, it just takes me back to very particular time. It was lovely hearing Tim talk, one of those people who you could listen to for hours. Thanks for this, Jack, I've only just found your channel but I'm gonna be going through your other interviews now! As someone else mentioned, it would be great to get someone on from My Parents Are Aliens.

You should try and get Jane Pardoe the animal lady in tots tv

I actually need Tots Tv to come back. Seeing so many clips of it just makes me happy. I think it’s the case for all of the adults that grew up on it.

Robin Stevens what an absolutely legend of great children's television programmes from the likes of Tots TV to Rosie and Jim and lots more brilliant shows. I love this interview and it is nice to hear about Robin's other work apart from the stuff he worked on with Ragdoll for example the BBC series for children Corners that was very similar in a way to CITV's fun and fact show How 2 which ran on CITV for a very long time and it was really interesting how Robin did Jo Corner on that programme. I love hearing behind the scenes secrets of Tots TV and it is interesting how Robin mentioned that Andrew Davenport used to do Tiny's voice I always have loved Tots TV and to think it ran for a staggering 5 years starting in 1993 and finishing in 1998 is just amazing it was a brilliant pre-school show. I absolutely love your podcasts Jack they are brilliant and great fun to listen to I love the guests you have interviewed

If it is not too much of a problem would it be possible to make a big podcast where you talk to everyone who was involved in pre-school television as it would be interesting to hear a podcast about that and what it was like working on children's shows

Wow what an amazing interview to stumble upon. I LOVED Mike and Angelo. He still sounds the same as his character back then even his laugh sounds like Angelo. When you guys mentioned about it being a golden era. Your right! You just don’t get TV like that no more… well you don’t really get children TV anymore. You and Tim should do a watch along with an episode. Would love to listen to a commentary version x

He was part of a litter of kittens and he was named after one of the characters from The hit Sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. Howard is the jewish one.

Before Children’s ITV and CITV the children’s segment was called ‘Watch IT’. Thames Television also has the Thames Television Children’s club this all consolidated into Children’s ITV😊

Sad to know the house that was built was left to go to pot and got vandalized and trashed. The farmer who owned that on his land should of kept that going. Would of made a lovely little tourist attraction. I would of paid to see it.
