- Here is a video on how I created this epoxy free alcohol ink mugs. To seal and gloss up my mugs I used Brite Tone from the crystalac company. Brite Tone is an epoxy free alternative. Its a non toxic water based top coat. These mugs were inspired by Christi Brown. Her Tik Tok is Gracefulrainart. Be sure to check out her Tik Tok... Her work is AMAZING!

Hello
While looking @ how you add and subtract the ink, I think that you waste a lot of ink. You could tape off the rim instead of wiping away the ink. Just a thought! Thanks
Great video! Do you use Brite Tone all the way to the rim of the mug? Is it safe to drink directly from the mug?

You have Gold Decals... OMG... What are they, and HOW can I make them?
What is the Name of the Gold Decal?

Hello ! Did you find them ?? Thank you
Hi Melissa, I am brand new to crafting. After the cups are finished what are the washing/care instructions please
After how many hours we need to spray that Krystal clear varnish?
Have you calculated the cost of 7 layers of Bright Tone? I'm curious how much you are spending just on that part compared to 1-2 resin layers.
What is the use of isopropyl alcohol ?
Is it ok to put hot liquids in the mugs with brite tone? And are they microwave safe?
YOU have no idea how many YEARS I have waited to FIND the
Right GOLD for my Mugs... and what you're using is PERFECT...
I am so happy... Your Mugs are SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL.
Thank u!!!!!!! I have been looking for tutorials like this with Crystalac and inks. Can u do one for wine glasses with mica powders? I can’t find a lot of videos for Crystalac BT with mica powders.
You’re welcome! I definitely can 😊
Why the sanding then recoating?
Is this water proof? We can use it ?
"THUMBS UP" people
What to do if we dont have a spinner ?
I wat to see what the cups look like now
Question:
Is the Britetone clear coat FDA approved, so we can touch the rim with our lips? Right?
I'm very new to this.. but know that we have to have a Clear Coat that we can drink from.
Thank you so much for making this BEAUTIFUL Video... Love it.
You’re very welcome.
So the FDA does not regulate coatings since they are not intended for consumption. Brite tone surpasses compliance with any FDA , OSHA and EPA standards. There are no toxic or hazardous ingredients in the product and it is food safe when dry. Hope this helps 😊

Hi, there.
Is it ok to put hot liquids in the mugs with brite tone? And are they microwave safe?
Thanks,
Hello, this video is so helpful, i have a question though for you. Can you use glitter on the mug and it hold well with the bright tone? I started experimenting with making halloween mugs but use mod podge and glitter. I like your method it looks more official. Could glitter be used though?
Thank you in advance!
I can't find the Gold Vinyl in your description box... HELP
I removed the link because the vinyl was no longer available on the website where I bought it . But I’ll find you another vendor that sells it and I’ll send you the link .

OHHHH MY GOSH...
YOU are so precious... (I think I'm going to cry with JOY)...
I'm serious, you have no idea how much this means to me...
YOU are a God-send.
(how many people cry over beautiful gold vinyl)... ME!!
The reason this means so much to me, I am moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico (US) to RE-Open my Acting Studio... and I want to give out personalized coffee mugs to the people who volunteer their time to help the kids with the Acting Studio...
I know how it feels to give many many hours... days... months and years to help at the Theatre and barley get a "Thank YOU" card... which I never received...
I have been looking for the EXACT Gold you have in this Beautiful Video... You are a very good artist...
Again, Thank YOU so much for taking YOUR time to reply and to help me out!!!!
God BLESS You....
AND... when I get my New computer, I'll be able to subscribe to your channel. My very old 11 year old MacBook Pro computer will not allow me to do that.
I'm waiting to get a new computer when I move back to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I found it 😊😊

Why so many coats? Did you mix the clear cost eith water,m
Great tutorial! Thank you! Can I add glitter to the brite tone?
How many coats of Brite tone would I need to just seal my pen design or waterslide decals? Just to make it last longer without spending too much time on each one?
LOVE THIS Video... So BEAUTIFUL
Thank youuuu 🥰
Can any cup be used or do I need a stainless steel cup of some sort
Hi when the mugs are ready the client can microwaved?
Why 7 coats of the britetone?
Where to get these stickers used on mugs
I was just doing some research on alcohol ink with brite tone. So many do it different or not at all. So brite tone is ok as long as you seal it before adding BT. I want to do this on a plastic Starbucks cup. Do you have a video of that?
Hi . You can definitely do it on a Starbucks plastic cup. I don’t have a video on it but I can definitely make one. The process will be similar to this video.. except I would spray paint the Starbucks cup white since they are clear. The method I used in this video is just one way of using alcohol inks. You can use them in many ways. You can also use them directly on the cup without pouring alcohol on the cup first. I’ll work on a video using Starbucks cups using different alcohol ink methods.
is it safe to have your lips on the britetone?
Do the top need to be white
Do you need to sand the mug
Hi there what are you using to turn the mug?
What temperature should it be for it to dry?
I’m just starting out. Can I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun?
Yes.. that's what I used at first. Just put it to the highest setting :)
Can you do the same process and designs for pens?
Yes definitely! I have been wanting to make pens like this as well. The process will look the same 😊
Is it washable or not...??
Yes. Hand wash only
Great tutorial! Please share the font that you used on both mugs. Thank you.
Thank you 😊 The cursive is called "darloune" and the other one is "happy student". Both from dafont.com
@@MelissaCrafter thank you so much!
I love you tutorial. Keep them coming
Thank youuuu for your constant support 😊❤️
These are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
What font is this?
The cursive is "darloune" and the other one is "happy student". both from dafont.com
Is the handle hard to coat?
Not really. I coat it before I turn on the turner. Making sure the whole handle is covered . Then turn on the turner and coat the rest of the mug .
Great video!!! Thanks for always answering questions and helping 😊
Always 😊❤️
