@BowTiesRCool OK, I thought youtube was just about sharing videos with people - not getting some personal view count up. I'll just have to keep looking about and see if I can find an unwatermarked HD version elsewhere.

@scullyluster i hadn't found anyone else on youtube who had put this video up in widescreen, so i was the first i know about to put this format up, and more people will want to see a full widescreen video and the idea of youtube is to get people watching YOUR videos, so if i watermark the only widescreen video of this, then other epople will be less likely to steal it and i will get more views than otherwise, it's not to annoy poeple :)

@BowTiesRCool Yes but you've just copied the BBC upload from their website, converted it and uploaded it yourself. What's the difference between that and somebody copying your version and "stealing" it? And, to be honest, what do you care if they do that anyway?

@scullyluster well yeah ultimately it's about sharing videos, but when u run a channel u want to try and get people to choose to watch your own videos rather than other channels
