Two Sides of Consent: Hearing No and and Saying Yes
This talk will consider two different approaches to the issue of sexual consent: hearing and recognising when someone does not consent and knowing how to communicate a 'yes' when one does consent. These issues will be considered within the context of positive sexual behaviour, as well as the prevention of sexual harm.
    About the speakers:
Holly Barnes-Bennetts is a lecturer in Media and Culture at the University of Worcester. Holly is also completing a PhD researching practices of positive sexual consent at the University of Worcester. This follows on from her Masters by Research completed through Bournemouth University. Holly is broadly a gender and sexualities academic with additional interests in research as activism and digital activism.
