when i do that it says the disc is not compatible with the system, unsuported disc, i got managunz and multiman too
The PS2 ISO's don't work. It just sends me to the home screen and nothing shows up.
When it kicks you to the home screen, if you scroll up do you get the PS2 disk icon?click the ps2 disk to load the game. It’s a two step process.
@@lastlime3792 From what I remember, it would take me to the home screen, I would click on the game, and I forgot what happened after that. I think it just turned off or something.
I'm using a PS3 HEN actually, I'm stuck with the orginal output video of the PS2 games era 480p. Is there a way to rise the output video using this method ? I assume that would mean to change to a CFW compatible obviously? Thanks for the video anyway !
May be a bit late, anyway a program called PS3 SFO editor might be exactly what you are looking for.
@@agentorange7220 whats that
@@spectrum-dx9rm Its just a program that allows you to make your games run on lower resolution, e.g i had to use it on a couple of games because i dont have an hdmi cable for ps3 so i used an AV ps2 cable, which doesnt allow you to run some games because of the higher resolution (its called 80028f10 error if memory serves). I hope i explained myself well. However i think the program doesn't work on PKG files
Im running HEN too. But i cant get my ps2 iso to play on my system. Im getting unsupported message. Even after transferring from usb to hdd. I know my ps3 slim isnt backwards compatible. But if u know a way please let me know.
@@Cracctaylor327I’m having the same issue
Thanks bud- worked a peach
When i enter managunz and press x on the game a notifaction pops up says (TODO)
Wolf H1 same bro, not sure what "todo"
I am literally looking for a way to play ps2 games on my ps3 for a long time ... I can't even remember so i really hope this works , i'll try it
Excellent tutorial. Simple and precise! Will this work for PS1 isos as well? With the different folder name and isos, of course! Great job! Thanks
Have you tried PS1 games? I see your comment but no answers and i bought PS3 just because of some PS2 games and i have some PS1 games i would like to play. 😁
@@DIABULUSKIRA yes you can play ps1-ps2 games just jailbreak your ps3 and install multiman
@@zizulfintzz If you have the original PS1 games you can just insert the discs. All PS3s are backward compatible with PS1 games by default, with no modding required.
@@andersj.gonzalez4823 wtf are you saying lmao
@@andersj.gonzalez4823 80% of ofw ps3s are not backwards compatible lol
Is there a way to play ps2 games without transfering the ISO to the ps3? like playing them straight from the usb or external hard drive instead of from the internal hard drive of the console?
its say unsupported what shoud i do
