There's something so weirdly touching about this scene in spite of the ridiculous premise. One man who can no longer find sense in his life pushing another to be where his life makes sense, with his family
Obsessed with the masterpiece. I don’t blame him for being friends with these guys. The Aesthetic of this song and skit is incredible and hilarious lol
Within each of us are two shirt brothers. One just wants to lash out and disregard all the rules. The other Shirt Brother knows that times can be tough, and sometimes things feel hopeless, but that doesn't mean we should throw everything away. There is still good in the world and really we all should be in the other room listening to our daughter's recital. Those are the things worth holding on to.
I GUESS I'll just keep replaying this until I get what we all want. But hurry up, cause I've memorized this entire video, the facial expressions in slow motion, her little rap she spit, the skit itself, the way he says "I don't know" 0:12 like he really was a lost soul and didn't know. Just please bless us with a full version.
This skit was one of my favorites because it had a deeper meaning at the end. It highlights how well written these skits are. IMO the writing in this show is criminally underrated and that might be because it can be masked by the ridiculous nature of the show.
Tony would just grind on the turnstile. The Hawkster grinds on everything. Everything's a game to him. You say, "go grind on this track", and he's all like, "nah, I'm going on the turnstile".
This ending tore my apart. When he said: “ I’m awake now” it resonated on so many levels. Enjoy life, the moment, the failures. Don’t let society dictate what you should do or how you should feel. Question everything and never take for granted the fact you’re ALIVE 🥰

I also hate that selling out is frowned upon as they deserve all the success they have received, it has been a fantastic experience. It truly depends on what future releases will be because this is the Record Company's first touch with them, and I am not a fan of it so far. If their next album sounds completely like this I am not going to be going to shows anymore and just listen to the old stuff and relive the glory days. Glow On had a diverse collection of different vibes and had to be looked at as an overall experience, so I am expecting the same for the next album. I don't like this as the 1st release though.
@@brianzollo selling out does not equal making music they want to make. you could tell in glow on that they're moving away from the traditional hardcore sound. which is fine. the genre is about as watered down as it can get at this point. glow on was the perfect combo of melodic hardcore, hip hop, and pop punk. whatever they make is going to have their own sound and might not please the original fans. that's fine too. bands aren't supposed to make the same album over and over again.
wouldn't take this as some sort of indication that this is where they are heading musically (although I don't totally hate this) Tim Robinson probably just wanted a pop punk song for the sketch and is a fan of Turnstile.
