  • In this Argali "Know How" video, Brad goes over two different methods for attaching the Rincon 2P Insert inside the tent body. The Rincon Insert can either be attached from inside the already pitched tent body-good for when its already raining outside-or pitched all at once with the tent body when conditions are more favorable. Check out this video to learn how.

Can the 2 person insert be used in a 4 person and still use the stove?

No, but we make half inserts for the Rincon and Absaroka that can be used with a stove.

How much square footage will I lose with the insert attached? Also, I know this is a dumb question, but can you describe the different conditions that I would experience more condensation vs less condensation without using the insert?

You lose a bit on the long sides of the tent. Not sure the exact square footage, but call it 10%. And condensation is causes by humidity in the air, air temps at night and ventilation. The colder it is the more you're going to have condensation issues. Cold temps at night with high humidity will cause the worst condensation. Ground moisture is also a contributor if there is any moisture in the dirt. How well or not well your tent is ventilated can help to alleviate condensation.

Is it reasonable to have the insert attached to the tent prior to going on your hunt? Does it all still fit in the stuff sack when attached?

That's totally reasonable to leave them attached. Will be a tight fit in the stuff sack but it works
