Thank you for the video !!! My original had boot torn. Grease was all over the place. I got the OEM from the dealer for around $250. I might try to restore the original with help of this video to keep it around just in case.
For any balanced assembly, you should match mark the pieces before you disassemble them. Score a line on the axle, hub and bearing so they are oriented exactly how they came off.
maybe a little too late , my 2008 inner , where the bearing comes to the end you can see on the housing on each side of of the 3 roller bearings there is a notch on the end of the casing that are restricting the 3 rollers from coming out
2008 altima v6 to seperate inner i , i put shaft in vice and a good yank will get them seperated , grease real good and can tap back into place using a heavy hammer without causing damage
I bought duralast axles for around $150 a piece, they have no counterweights on them and they vibrate at low speed, i tried a number of different things to reduce or eliminate the vibration, i was able to reduce it but not eliminate, after replacing the boots on the factory axles and putting them back on the car the vibrations were completely gone.
@@mygeniv8377 They have Cardone, Bodeman and other brands for 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5L 2488CC passenger side CV joints axle for around $65 and up to about $90 with a 10 Year Warranty. Maybe you just got a bad part.
@@mygeniv8377 I guess it's the same with any off-brand part when you can't afford an original OEM part you have no choice but to go with an off-brand or used part Lol!. So far I've had good luck with rebuilt, off-brand, and used parts from ebay. Cheers!
Good grease job makes car happy. Thank you for a really clear video.
