@@darkkumori6753 No, power is still constant, which is why i added a switch to control the lights. If there wasn't a switch, the lights would have power all the time, just like the cig lighter.
Thinking about doing the same on my Jetta. Mine is a stick though and has the clutch where u threaded the wire to inside the car. My question is do you know if there would still be a place to thread it?
Not sure. Best bet is to check that area and see if there's any clearance. You don't need much to run the wire. Worst case scenario, you can drill a small hole through the firewall from the inside.
Doing my Jetta soon !!
Awesome job and awesome video. Dude, really like what you have done to that Jetta
Thanks bro 🙏
Looks sick bro
Thanks man!
No problem how much was it
What color is that it’s dope as hell
Thanks! The car is wrapped in Avery Gloss Light Blue.
I have interior leds connected to the cig lighter port, is there enough power in the fuse to supply both
Should be. LEDs use very little voltage to power on.
can you link the switch? and everybtibg you got plz
Hey when you turn off the switch since you piggy backed the cigarettes lighter dose it turn off then the lights are off
Yes, switch only works when car is on
@@JoelsDriveway no but dose the switch affect the cigarette lighters power too

Curious how that 3m tape has held for the past few month.
Still holding strong. Its been driven through heavy rain too. I'll do a follow up on my next video.
I can attest to this. I use 3M for my rear spoiler and it’s held up strong for 4 months so far.
Where did u mount ur rear one at bud
On my diffuser plate. There's an area behind the rear bumper where you can most likely get some zip ties on to hold it
hey brother what rim lug layout are the jetta mk6s I'm also looking into getting rims but I don't know what lugs we got I know its a five lug
5x112 bolt pattern. Check ECSTUNING.COM they have good wheels for cheap

Did you ever complete the install? I've also got a stick and I'm thinking about wiring it through the door area. What did you end up doing?
