That’s SO cool! I imagine once you adapt to head tracking, it would become intuitive and freeing. If we were able to fly around like a Super Hero, we wouldn’t simply look in the direction of our flight path… our head would be on a swivel. 👍👍
Yes, exactly how I thought of it when described. Goggles 2 and motion 2 are on its way. Will get the Avata later, as I do want the full “fpv” experience.
Great demonstration of "Head Tracking" with the Integra Goggles & Motion 2 Controller. I'm just now realizing I have a lot of training to do in learning how to really fly my Mini 3 Pro! If you can do that with the Goggles/M2 controller with Head Tracking on, I should be able to replicate those same actions with my DJI RC joysticks and gimbal wheel with some practice. Now the work (and FUN) really begins!!!
omg.... I was wondering if and HOW this would be incorporated.... man... too many decisions now for goggling up... love this ability; exactly what i dreamt of to be able and do...
That would actually be brilliant in the bigger drones for search and rescue be like being in a helicopter but you can fly your course and still look all over. Great video my friend look forward to some more videos 😁 👍 👌 🇬🇧
having a small drone for search and rescue is probably more versitile... you can pack it in an out of an area. Larger drones would require a vehicle of some sort for transport.
Nice demo. I just got my goggles and controller today. Can't wait to connect them to my Mavic 3 and Mini 3 Pro. Your videos always make it easier. Thanks.
Awesome video, but when you turned head tracking on at 2:17 it looks like obstacle sensing was disabled. Is there an option for both head tracking and obstacle sensing to be on simultaneously to stop you from flying into something while looking the other way?
The image looks kind of Messi... Is there any way to stabilize the camera using headtacking? Even minor head motion makes the image not steady .Why the image is not stabilized? Thank you
I love the addition of being able to use the goggles integra with the mini 3 pro. And am able to us the Rc controller. Once you have them linked to the mini 3, you have to take off and fly around for a couple of seconds then turn goggles on and you now can use the Goggles and controller. You just won't have a picture on the controller screen. It will say in red, only able to fly with motion controller, but you just ignore that. Just glad they updated the firmware so I didn't have to get the Motion Controller yet. 😂 Then before landing or flight without goggles, just turn goggles off why hovering and the image come back on the RC controller.
I'm curious to know how it can improve on inspections with the Mavic 3, Head Tracking + Explore Mode could change the perspective of how to do inspections.
The only question is now this for flying ,yes that amazing awesome . But I realized we loss tracking features but I’m not mad at all this a game’s changer I just got my Avata integra. I just up grade from my spark now I’m going order now the maverick mini pro too
This looks very cool and I imagine it will take some time getting used to it. Hoping to be able to get the AVATA kit at some point and then I'll have the goggles and RC2 to be able to bind with my Mini 3 Pro. One day
Great video! Do you find the reception is better with the goggles? It seems like you don't have to face the drone directly like in the regular controllers. Perhaps the antennas are 360 degrees?
I was ready to buy the mini 3 pro and the integra goggles but I didn’t realize it wouldn’t work with the RC Pro controller. I holding out because I can’t imagine the motion controller being as accurate as the RC Pro flying the drone
You can be incredibly accurate with the motion controller. Due to how intuitive it is. I spend 99% of my time FPV full manual, but also really enjoy how close I can get with a motion controller and head tracking. The control is much smoother and less mechanical than dual gimbal control for almost everyone
Very cool. Thanks for this video. It's exactly what I needed to see. I have been on the fence about getting an Avata, but I am honestly a bit intimidated by trying to learn to fly completely manual from scratch as I have limited time for my hobby, and that learning curve looks steep. Also, I am very concerned about flying lots of places with how loud the whoops are, especially the Avata. But I think now, that the Integra and motion 2 controller combo with a mini pro 3 might be the way to go. That way I can get the best of lower learning curve fpv with all the great arial photography features of the mini 3. And if I ever decide I want more, the Avata drone only could be picked up later to add on with the hardware I already have. But again, thanks for such a great and straight forward of how these two techs can work together. Looking forward to getting to try it myself.
Great video...I have been using the goggles 2 and motion controller, but was hesitant on my turns...this shows me I can look left or right before initiating a turn...thanks for the video!
It looks like there’s a useful indicator at the top of the googles screen that shows how far left or right your head is turned relative to the forward direction of the drone, i.e. the position of the white circle.
Awesome tutorial Aldrin ! That head tracking feature is insane can't wait for my Motion 2 to come in . I have the goggles 2 from my avata plus i have the Mavic 3 so hopefully i can get similar results ! Thanks again brother ! FlySafe & StayBlessed 🙏
i forget which button you press but when the head tracking and the drone flying gets really confusing and you literally get all turned around, you should be able to press and button and instantly sync them back together (i.e. cancel head tracking).
Nice vid there Mate👍Could you tell me please if I only use one SD card or two both being for drone and gogs. Seems a thick question maybe to some, but i just aint got a clue 🤣 😅 by the way you're tutorials are clear cut and very helpful. Cheers from Jake 🏴
I live in San Diego and have been looking for places to fly. This looks a awful lot like Poway. Are you flying in the San Diego area and if so, what places would you recommend flying?
How´s headtracking with the Mavic3 (PRO)? i´d bet this is a lot more fun and hopefully the same than with the old googles an the old mavic pro! Tracking controlls the gimbal / controller controls the aircraft...
I could see one person wearing the goggles for controlling the camera and the visual observer using the motion controller to control the drone using LOS.
That is really wicked! They should make the circle red ⭕. Is there any way to smooth out the motion through settings? I was hoping the Goggles gave the same view as the RC Controller.
Awesome video, Thanks! I have a Mini 2 (love it) and I wasn’t going to get the Mini 3 Pro unless it had the goggles interface……after seeing your video the other day with the goggles I bought the Mini 3 Pro (should have it today or tomorrow)….can’t wait….. this video answered one of my questions 👍🏻. But my other question is; will DJI include the Air2S with this interface?
How does the goggles battery hold up against 3 pro batteries. I just assume everyone has at least 3. I was also wondering how you find the signal and what distances your getting. I'm lucky if I can get 300 meters from my house with the hand held.
Just like being a pilot in a plane ! With any luck GOODBYE to vlos rule as they claim you are blind sided. Buckleys chance I know. Been waiting for ages for this , bought controller and goggles 2 already just waiting for them now.
Your video brought me to the world of motion2/integra goggles. I keep getting the "device not bound..." and can fly 5 times. I also use the rc-n1 so need to be able to switch back and forth... Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thank you
What are the differences between running the DJI Mini 3 Pro with Goggles Integra vs Goggles 2 and Motion 2? Why the Goggles 2 are more expensive than the Integra?
A downside I see with Head Tracking is the rapid movements of the camera. It gives the feeling of not having image/video stabilization. Would be nice if you could engage something that still enabled head tracking but "dampened" it to smooth out the camera movements.
The smoothness will come from your head movements. I wasn't trying to make cinematic movements in this video, I was just experimenting and testing to see if it works.
In your opinion, for someone who has never flown a drone is either the DJI RC or the Motion Controller 2 easier to use? ...Head tracking seems pretty awesome.
How does this work on mavic 3? Does camera move more to the left and right instead of turning the whole drone? Does the obstacle avoidance still work on the bigger drone?
You wouldn't fly the mini 3 pro in tight spaces you would the Avata. There's a trust and confidence level that's different with an Avata that's designed to take a crash, the Mini 3 is not.
@4:25 Aldryn you say: "....the DRONE is now turning around" . Presumably you meant to say... "the CAMERA is now turning around". Correct? Hi from Ireland. Great channel, been watching your videos for years since the Mavic platinum was released.
Very cool! Excuse my ignorance here, but is there a way to adjust the gain and expo so the footage is less "FPV looking" and more cinematic. I know myself well enough to know I wouldn't be able to resist whipping my head around like crazy to look at stuff. 😂🤣😂
This is not new. i've done this with my mavic pro and the original dji googles re.

Great video. Super helpful. Also I just came across your Tesla channel which has been super informative as well 👍🏼
Been wanting to watch this video 🤣🤣🤣 Great job explaining it. Very cool.
I could see this feature being really good for first responders, more intuitive when searching for survivers or people
First responders are not legally allowed to use DJI products if they are employed by government in the United States.
@@xyzyyz why, that sucks, just because some politicians think Chinese is bad, first responders should have the BEST equipment 😔
EXCELLENT video and explanations of how it really works,, THANK YOU,,,
Good video Aldryn. Nice option to have on the drone.
Great video man! I’m curious also about obstacle avoidance. Can it still be enabled using head tracking?
Thanks!
Seems to automatically turn off.
does it work with the mavic 3?
Awesome Video, Thanks

Hi, do you have to choose between head tracking and recording? Also when recording can you move the gimbal up or down? Many thanks!
Will you test this out on one of the Mavic 3 series at all to confirm it works?
Excellent review, Thanks.
Thanks,i was wondering if head tracking would work and didn't see it in any other video
So cool that fpv finally has arrived with the Mavics. Will the Integra goggles bind with the Mavic 3 classic via RC controller that comes with it?
Can only the goggles be used or should the joisticks be used..?
Love your informative videos. Thank you very much.

Can the head tracking also work with the google 2 or only this unit. Used with the mini 3 pro. Thanks
Really really cool !good job dji😮

Can you make the movements smoother in the settings? This way it’s nice to do for looking around but I expect we‘ll see many more jerky videos.
Thanks for the demo and yes what a trip!
Will the DJI FPV goggles work with the mini 3 pro as you were using the integra googles.
Thanks
How´s headtracking with the Mavic3 (PRO)? i´d bet this is a lot more fun and hopefully the same than with the old googles an the old mavic pro! Tracking controlls the gimbal / controller controls the aircraft...
Watching this 5 months later, I wonder if DJI ever made it possible to use the RC controller with the Integra Goggles (2)? TIA for any info on this.
Can the motion controller be used without the goggles?
I used the first fpv goggles with the original mavic and it wasn’t good at all, it picked up all the jitters from ur head when u moved slightly.
I could see one person wearing the goggles for controlling the camera and the visual observer using the motion controller to control the drone using LOS.
Well brutha, can you demonstrate flying the M3P with goggles while also echoing what you see through the goggles to a tablet symaltaniosly?
That is really wicked!
They should make the circle red ⭕.
Is there any way to smooth out the motion through settings?
I was hoping the Goggles gave the same view as the RC Controller.
then turn head tracking off, and you will be back to goggle and controller orientation being the same
Does it work with dji mini 3 as well sir?
I'm waiting for Dji to drop support to use look around with goggles and control altitude with controller.
Hmmmm i might to try this. i flew the Mini 3 Pro for the first time with motion controller yesterday

I keep getting the "device not bound..." and can fly 5 times.
I also use the rc-n1 so need to be able to switch back and forth...
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

excellent video and thanks for showing us how to do this.
It is important to understand, however, that when you turn head tracking on, it disables obstacle avoidance.
Are there goggles that can be used with the mini 3, not the mini 3 pro? Thank you.

Motion controller is surprisingly very intuitive
Hi, in Goggles is limitation of maximal altitude above start point. How many of maximal altitude you can set ?
How does this work on mavic 3? Does camera move more to the left and right instead of turning the whole drone? Does the obstacle avoidance still work on the bigger drone?
Hi, I am a DJI Avata owner and I am interested in trying this experiencecol.DjiMini 3 Pro, do you think it's worth it? Is it fulfilling or not?
Very cool 🤝😎
I am hoping that they'll add support for the Air 2S!
How much total flight time do you get with the goggle's battery? Also, how do you zoom?
this is pretty cool. I always wondered why they never implemented this and now they have.
So what makes the Avata different now that you can do all this with the gps drones?
You wouldn't fly the mini 3 pro in tight spaces you would the Avata. There's a trust and confidence level that's different with an Avata that's designed to take a crash, the Mini 3 is not.
Can you learn and practice headtracking on sim....?
what if your arm gets tiered, can you put your arm down in your lap if you are sitting and still fly with head tracking or the joy stick?
Maybe I should return the Avata and get Mini 3 Pro. Quieter, 249g, longer flights make sense.
I got the RE Goggles ( gray one) , is it to make it work on the Mini 3 ? ( dont need head tracking) 😎😎
Tienes un video cuando lo conectastes
Is there any reason - other than DJI wanting everyone to buy new kit - for this to not work for the Mini 2?
Might be O3 compatibility
Is there an RTH function with the Motion 2 Controller??
@4:25 Aldryn you say: "....the DRONE is now turning around" . Presumably you meant to say... "the CAMERA is now turning around". Correct? Hi from Ireland. Great channel, been watching your videos for years since the Mavic platinum was released.
Cameras don’t turn left to right. So the entire drone turn but maintain ls its direction.
How long distance drone can fly by using goggle 2?
Is this the DJI googles integra?
Can you still fly with a standard controller
What's the range of the goggles and the hand controller?
That’s pretty sick
Does the Head Tracking work on the Mavic 3? The option does not seem to be there.
Thank you
Nice, i need this goggles!
which version of google is recommended?
Is the FPV experience with mini 3 pro + Integra and motion 2 actually comparable in feel to the Avata? Of course in case of relaxes and steady flying.
No the avata is way more immersive.
@@FlytPath OK. Thank you 👍
Other than moving your head very slowly, is there a setting to smooth the footage when using head tracking?
