- Along with the rest of the Ironworker Clan, I tried out the most laidback MMO that I have ever played...Palia. In this video I'll be offering my impression from the perspective of someone who has very little experience with casual games. Enjoy! 🍻

A good thing to note is that this game is still in the demo stage. They're still adding new content and improving the game
Very true! It will be very interesting to see how this game grows and evolves over time! 👍👍
I love this game. So relaxing.
Yeah the "Disney" vibe did make me put it off for a bit. Not that I was against it, I just gotta be in the mood for Disney.
When I did decide to try it, I was also pleasantly surprised. Just got into it a few days ago so not super far but it's been fun so far.
Can’t believe you’ve never played Stardew Valley. I can’t get over that part out of everything you’ve said in the video lol
Haha! I mean...it does lay well outside of the scope of games that I tend to play! 😂🍻
Honestly, while I play these sort of games from time to time, the only reason this one is even slightly on my radar is because it has a campaign going on for the Steam release where there'll be an in game plushie that grows in size the more people who wishlist it on Steam. That's such a dumb campaign that I can't help but be at least mildly intrigued.
Hahaha! I can't say that I was aware of that, but I'll have to keep an eye out for it! 😂🍻
Been following this game for a while, think I'll pick it up once it hits Steam 😁
We've been having fun with it! While it's not my typical style of game, I think it's pretty good for what it is. 😁👍
Agent sparkles... Hahahaha... Love it.
Seems like a pretty cool game man. Been addicted to Palworld and this game has some similarities, and my wife loves Stardew valley and I’ve dabbled a bit with it myself. Maybe I’ll give this game a try with the wife if we can find the time! Haha
Ayeee!! Great to hear from you! Some day I do need to get around to trying Palworld. It does look like a lot of fun. Me and the fam have been having a good time with Palia though, and I hope you both do as well if you get a chance to give it a go! 👍🍻
hmmm. fair review. thanks for the info.
You're very welcome, and thank you for checking out the review! 😁👍
I didn't play this game since about 3 months (ran out of stuff to do - beta...). But now, I plan to catch up and figured, while I'm waiting for the updating to finish, I watch some reviews...
It might not be the usual adrenaline-junkie, shoot before ask type of game, but that is the actual charm of it!
You can truly escape your real life to another one where everything is peaceful and everybody (including other players!!!!) is super duper nice!
Some rules are enforced by the community - and not so much the game - but the developers sort of intended players to follow these "rules". You don't have to chop down trees together, but the rare ones, you do cut down together. And no one forces you to gift resources or advise new players, but everybody does. Palia teaches you to be nice to others! It also teaches you to be patient as some things don't play on instant gratification. It takes hours for your house to be built when you collected all the materials. Which may sound bad, but it feels wonderfully relaxing to not be in a constant hurry!
It is a nice switch up option... you know, for times when you start to fight monsters in your dream...That's your brain saying "I am stressed, dude, need a break"
It looks like Disney Dreamlight Valley
Very informitive
Seems interesting
Its definitely a game built to satisfy a more casual audience, but for what it is, I do think it's pretty good. 😁🍻
Nice to see some non destiny content. My friend loves this game.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. It has been nice steeping back from Destiny a bit and giving some other games a try! 🍻👍
Your wife's name is Mrs. Ironworker? What an incredible coincidence!
Skins in free game for money is the best profit for free video games.
League and Path of Exile showed it best.
havent played this because i am experiencing black screen bug but why this looks like the my time at portia game
Hopefully the issue get cleared up soon and you can give it a try! 👍👍
You want a family game. Play stardew valley for real. I was turned off initially too but once I found out there was pve and it feels good I was sold. The gameplay feels a lot better than the graphics suggest.
I really should give it a shot one of these days. It's a game that has remained relevant for 8 years now, so it must be doing something right! 👍👍
I fell out of it for awhile only making it to Fall, but later picked up that old save file and really got into it after I started getting some of the better upgrades.
I prefer the dynasty series (medieval dynasty, sengoku dynasty, etc.) But this game is like animal crossing and stardew valley had a baby and im enjoying it. I am just very bored of fps games...
I would play the game, if the characteres were not that weird XD look at his posture and walk animation. Who walk like that ?
It's been years since my last Skyrim playthrou never played with mods, i guess it's the right time to go back and enjoy a real game.... out since 2011 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am recently playing Stardew Valley. Stardew Valley seems to be a much better game that w/e time gated crap this is. I hate time gated crafting bull shit, that is even present in Warframe.
The one thing I don't like about this game is that the devs clearly don't like anything remotely masculine, they add beards and such but your character will always stand and run around like a very flamboyant boy and they do this on purpose because many people ask everyday for more masculine customization options, but they ignore them all. They only added beards because in this day and age anyone can have a beard
😐
Lmaooo, cope
Can anyone here tell me why there aren’t already crazy amount of people think that Palia is just straight up copying Fortnite, they look almost identical. This is ridiculous, are you guys just going to keep avoiding the elephant in the room.
Because while it might look like Fortnite, it’s not trying to be Fortnite. It feels completely different and plays completely different.
what a waste of time. its not even close to being a finished product. i spend more time reporting glitches bugs and missing items than actually play. Not to mention it looks like a Fortnite clone rather than something new. what is new...Fishing? nope. mining? nope. farming and gardening, gliders, no no no. community tasks take too long to gather people for. They have so much land to explore, but half it you cant get to, wasted space. many places a lot of art work wasted for places you visit once, and barley see without stopping all the time. missions so ridiculous its not funny. invetory management and tracking goals is difficult at best. their newest update made it all worse. it pauses gameplay more than ever and resources are not spawning where or when its supposed to, except liliy flowers, yay. Graphics, thats not really up to devs, thats just technogy getting better. the art work within those graphics is what matters, and they just took theirs from Fortnite, so what are they doing?
All video games are “a waste of time.”
Agreed with the other comment, video games are a waste of time, game more close to Zelda in a way than fortnite, the characters sure he'll is similar to one even overwatch
It's so good. I've about finished the main story in 200hours 🥺 in a month and half... 🫣 It's so good and I'm so sad I've pretty much finished it thus far!
That's awesome, and I'm happy to hear that you've enjoyed it thus far! I've still yet to finish the main quest line (since I've been preoccupied with other games) but being a live service game, it will be interesting to see how things expand and evolve over time! 😁🍻
