I like that the devs have listened to us and added facial hair. As an older male with a beard it helped me identify with my character a bit more with that addition. Something to add that I think would be nice is you could add color pallettes like warframe has to the cash shop. The palletttes could be themed like Spring colors or autumn colors or holiday themed. That would add a reason to spend a bit of real life cash. I also would love somethings in the cash shop that are cheaper so that if you can only get the 800 coins to get the one pet that there is something to use the coins on instead of needing to save them up.
I hit renown cap and gold cap, ran out of content apart from resource collection then the achievements got bugged and there was literally no point anymore. I played in closed Beta and the game ran like a dream. Following open beta every update brought more and more bugs which were not fixed and I left. Lack of rewards to work towards like clothing, titles etc leave it feeling like an empty grind. The premium shop is hella expensive and the clothing options in there are not great. very sad really it showed such amazing promise.
I love some of the new premium outfits I’ve purchased a few of them because they really resonated with me, I’ve seen for myself too bugs get ironed out and there is definitely an improvement! If you ever change your mind, I’d say give it ago again, if not that’s totally your choice and I’m not going to try and convince you ☺️

But the more i played (even causally), the more the bugs that never got fixed started to get on my nervers and sour my opinion slowly. I said the Chaapa chase event was "okay" at the start and was actually even better after the rework they did for it (I will admit this), but the fact that they had glaring bugs that didnt allow people to recieve their rewards from the limited time event and rather than *fixing them* and helping the players that couldnt, closed the event and basically gave them a 'sorry, maybe itll be fixed next time'. The bugs piled up one by one over time. The lack of response from the devs in their discord slowly piled up too (It took months to get an accessibility channel despite hundreds of people asking and pleading for one.). The final straw for me was after completing most of what the game had to offer (somewhere around August/September) and i was on my achievement hunting phase by catching all the bugs and fish I hadnt already, I looked to see what i was missing and all achievements were undone. I took a break after this. I decided to come back when they did the food rebalance..... This was literally the worst patch. The "rebalance" broke any need to have a social gathering to make foods (formerly "cake parties"). They completely removed the need for Jam??????? in any recipe without any warning. The rebalances were broken because you would LOSE MONEY putting things in to worm boxes. I am/was on the fence, but the fact you do not even touch on the cash shop makes me even more wary of this and shy away even more from this game. I did see in a video that one can only receive certain pets ONLY IF one spends RL cash and I understood it was not cheap. I understand people must make money, but adding a cash shop in Open Beta, and Paywall items even before Full Release is a big no no for me. Too bad, because many aspect do seem very nice, bad sadly for me do not out balance what I consider the big no no. Would also be nice to have this on Steam. The real downside is I will miss out on a seemly wonderful community.
The reason I don't touch upon the cash shop is because its only optional. There is nothing making you use the cash shop in the game and they just recently added a free character customization mirror where you can go back and re edit your Palian. The pets are a bonus to purchasing an outfit from the shop which is nice but the game is free to play, the outfits in this game are the only ways they make money and considering it is ultimately up to you to decide on whether or not you want to do that. This in itself is not a bad thing per se, but to paywall items in a non full release game is considered bad etiquette. If the game is good, and provides me with many hours of entertainment, I am more then willing to buy cosmetic items that appeal to me, because this is the way to keep the game running as long as possible for people (and myself) to enjoy. But to offer overpriced and/or paywalled items in a beta, just gives me bad vibes. Saying it is optional, for me, is not an excuse for paywalling or overpricing items in the cash shop.
