Ever find yourself wondering what crop will make you the best gold per hour for your exact situation? Wonder no more with the next generation spreadsheet from Aqajj where you can now find out exactly how much gold you will make per hour.
I believe this is more accurate than the spreadsheet that is commonly shared in the Palia discord at the time of releasing this video. This spreadsheet correctly takes into account the replant costs of the crops.

OMG! This was such a crazy spreadsheet to design and test. There is so much data here for everyone to play around with!
I've also kind of changed my opinion in that bok choy seeds are great if you are going for value but the bok choy preserves might actually let you stay offline longer while keeping the high gold per hour rate of preserves. So, if you are looking for the best of both charts, I think I've changed from seeds to preserves for bok choy. I'll be playing around with this idea on our livestreams.
I'm really interested in seeing which crops you are planning on using in your garden and hearing if this helps you see the extremes of both situations and allows you to make a more informed decision when it comes to making the most gold per hour in Palia! Let me know your thoughts and comments here and the sheet might be updated with it in the future.

HAHAHA! It certainly is a lot of math! You don't really need to know the math by heart, you can use the colors and graphs to see what's the best. I believe you'll get it eventually!
Haven't even gotten far into the video, but already appreciating how much effort you put into this. Also VERY surprised you got pushback on the bok choy declaration last time - I switched my garden layout to do more bok choy and started raking in the gold immediately. Edit: I should probably mention that bok choy seeds work very well for me since I have a busy life + full time job, so my Palia playtime per day is quite low. Bok choy in the seeders overnight gives me so much income with minimal effort.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you appreciate it! The reason for the pushback is the fact that the seeds took so long and people mark it down for that. But I’m like you, only have a few hours to play a day so I don’t have any issues letting the bok choy just sit there and run while I’m offline.

I’ve just gotta say, this is phenomenal work! My brain can’t quite comprehend the complexity of it (but I revisit it often and am starting to to slowly understand a bit better)
Thank you so much for your time and mental efforts towards this, it does NOT go unnoticed! Last video I started growing a lot more bok choy and it helped me immensely with gold making, so I was following closely for this update post patch.
It would be cool to see a video with some different layout options - beginner and advanced - and compare with seeds vs preserves vs selling raw (not saying it would need to be you making the video bc I know that’s a big time investment, this is just a general statement) for us visual people who struggle with charts. I’ll definitely be using your charts and creating some different layout options with the gardening layout tool, perhaps I can screenshot them and share to the discord or Reddit threads to help others too. I tend to jump on for about 30 min to an hour twice or three times in a day, so I tend to stick to preserves as they let me log off and then just refill them when I log back on. I'm currently doing a rotation of potato preserves/nappa kimchi with permanent makers for tomatoes, blueberries & apples. I know bok preserves are supposedly better, but since I'm high level in gardening I prefer tomatoes. They yield multiples every harvest, so I don't ever run low on them.

My layout is a hybrid between the crops you recommend, another UA-camrs layout and my own tweaks based on crop need… all I have to say is thanks!, I can easily make 10-14k with my crops.

Wow, man. Props to you for all this effort. One question, what do weeds do? Does it affect anything if you pull right away vs leave it for some waterings?
I love seeing the math worked out like this. I am surprised though that you didn't calculate in worm farms as well (even though I know they aren't as worth it with 1.8)

My brain was struggling to fully comprehend everything but I've found my Groove with my own palia garden.
I grow 4 rows of potatoes with 1 row of nappa cabbage between each pair of rows of potatoes and then the other 3 soil patches I use to grow apples and anything else I need.
And I pickle the potatoes, feed the nappa cabbage to my worm and glow worm farms. And sell pretty much everything

Great video, thank you ! Do you still get only star quality crops from any seed at level 25 in gardening ? I seem to have quite a bit a non quality drop at level 23
I replant star seeds and when I was around 25 I was indeed getting pretty much 100% star crops.
@@Aqajj Oh ok thanks :) If anyone is interested, I got 121 quality bok choy and 42 regular ones from regular seeds at level 23 and it's about the same ratio for my few wheat and rice plants

I did the bokchoy but I was struggling to process them. Despite logging in every cycle. 😭
Bok choy is better the less you play since the processing times are long especially for the seeds. You can still make a lot of money by selling the raw seeds as seen in this spreadsheet but if you only want to sell processed crops, you will still make good money with preserves but seeds will be slow.
Playing hours its on 1000 so wouldnt this not be per day but per month or whatever it equals to?
Well, even at 1,000 it is still per day, it’s just the average of every day up to that point. Sure, as you see in the graph it takes a little bit for the average to level out but I keep it at 1,000 so everything has enough time to reach the leveling out point and is better for comparison similar to other charts with a static number and no variability.

So what are the best crop with the fastest harvesting time from available 10 type of crops for making huge money ?
I'm currently Level 24, all equipments upgraded 1 level up from basic, have 9×9 soil, 2x seed machine, currently I'm more to tomato + rice.
With two seed makers it looks like apple seeds are the best by only selling processed items. If you are willing to sell raw crops so you can make money faster and buy more seed makers quicker then bok Choy is the way to go.
If you copy the spreadsheet for yourself and type 2 in the crafter variable you can play around with the other setting and see what works best for you.

@@AqajjOk thank you for replying. Now I'm choosing tomato for my 9x9 plot. The big reason is tomato can be harvest 4 times before need to replanting seeds. One tomato quality is 34 cent, so 81 tress can produce 162 tomatoes. So can get $5,500 per harvest is already good for me. So 3x harvest (2nd, 3rd & 4th cycle) = $16,500 because majority of 1st harvest cycle dedicated to produce seeds. Also for each 2nd, 3rd & 4th harvest cycle only need to wait 2 days unlike 1st cycle need to wait 4 days. It's already very good to me
That’s great!! Tomatoes are nice since they last a long time and don’t require as much replanting work. They are still pretty high up on the profit scale so if it’s working for you then that’s awesome!

i just wanted too know what plants i should grow and in what format, now im confused and have a headache. i didnt know you needed a degree in agriculture to play Palia.

I wonder if that only works, if you are basically all the time logged in are or if this works if you only logg in 3 times a day. For me onions work perfect 😊😊
The top chart is the theoretical max gold per playing hour, so the less you play the more money you make per hour played. The bottom chart is based on playing 24/7. The candlestick chart in the top right is a visual representation of this showing whether a crop can make money while you’re offline. I haven’t come up with a way to factor in specific play time per day yet. So depending on how often you play, you’ll end up somewhere along that blue bar.

This is definitely a more advanced guide but what exactly is confusing you? Maybe I can break it down a little more.
How much gold do you earn per real day? I’m guessing you run the seed maker throughout the day and sell the next day when you empty them out
Palia is a game, you are a very sad individual
Some people find it fun to run the math and figure out stuff like this. Just because you have a different play style doesn’t another’s play style is sad. Game’s are supposed to be fun for everyone and each person gets to decide what that means for them.
People also should really know that this is a passive income. Amazing video as always

There’s a ton of different garden layouts in Palia’s discord under the gardening channel. If you are looking for one to go the bok Choy route, there’s a video on the channel about my custom layout that will get you a ton of bok choy without fertilizer. The layout is best for people with less play time per day.
