I farm silk from the vampire crabs that spawn in the flooded fortress at night. They give 3-6 silk and you can catch several of them, relog and catch more, rinse and repeat all night.
Something you missed with the house plots which I also saw players don't know is that the 2nd and 3rd slot are free, you only start paying with the fourth.
@@elvis_ismyking530 Unfortunately your storage remains the same, meaning you can still access the same storage/stuff from a chest on the other plots. On the upside your writs are also the same so you don't need to unlock them again. Also the trees, rocks and bushes that are still on your plot from when you started stay in the same place.
The trees on your other free plots can have trees added and it will not affect your first plot. Note-there is a glitch that will have them show up sometimes on your first plot but when you relog they are gone.
The silk questions is definitely for the investigator furniture quest since its either grind for the level 6 recipe that needs 5 silk thread or spend 580g per piece which is extortionate.
You know one thing id love to do is be able to name the rooms. so I can keep some things in it if I have to rearrange my house then I will remember what room is what. =)
Gotta say I really am liking the community on Palia, I never play MMOs cuz I don't like how people behave, but this is a whole different vibe and no one gets horrid if I use the wrong name for something 😅 can't wait to have another plot of land gunna build a massive workshop 😍😆
"Swag stag, disco bambi, Elkton John" these are all amazing, lol. I wanted to say too in order to even get the gazebo you have to buy more plots! Which costs a million and a half + doll hairs, but it's worth it, the gazebo is beautiful.

You can actually flare himself and not startle him. It doesn't count as a hit, but it does help for tracking. And concur, one hit is all you need to get loot from him. It's 100%. The Azure stone hoppers drop 3-5 silks, a honey lure and you are set. Jewelwing dragonflies will drop 10-12.

For cooking you don't even need to add ingredients if the recipe has a "mix stuff other players made together" portion - I managed to reach lv 10 + get 100+ starred stakes by cooking with 2 other people where one prepared the butter & the other one the bread while I did the flip minigame (person hosting started the recipe so it used their meat) so I didn't even need to use any ingredients
Just discovered the game like, 2 days ago, and already hooked XD Thanks for those tips really, especially the hunting thing. I wasn't really aware of that so I thank you for explaining the diferent types of arrows. I kinda get also teh plot limit thing, if they were to up the soil limit, they'd have to drastically drop the value of crops you can sell I think, for economy purpuses, otherwise you'd be able to make a shit ton of money pretty fast I think. But you know what? I'd be down to get more soil and drop the value price definitly :p
In the Grove you can go through and hit each tree once and let everyone else do the chopping and you still get the loot from all that you did one hit on. 😅
a very important thing to note about azure chapaas is that when you hit one with a slowdown arrow, only the real one will be affected, the clones will scatter and leave the real one at your mercy... a very important (not really) thing to note about mujiins, they are an infinite source of memes... we all eventually get that one time we cut down a tiny tree, only to have several generations of a mujiin family just swarm us for a mere moment before booking it in all directions, leaving us slightly jumpscared and very *VERY* confused for no particular reason

I keep forgetting we can use multiple plots for other things other than building houses. If we ever get a farm for our plot, I'm definitely using my second plot for it and use a third plot for gardening when we get more gardening soil.

Unfortunately that isn't true, several of the recipes require you to find all of their pieces as a quest, or are given through fishing like Sashimi, and you have to find them that way. I've eaten Sashimi dozens of times and still do not have the recipe.
Yes, i asked in the discord today and you're right 😅 I have every recepie but onigiri and pokebowl sadly. I have them in my inventory but not the recepies...
I’m new to mmo’s and trying to understand the world and etiquette. Watching your vid, I don’t know why, but it never occurred to me that with the multiple plots that you could build a small city. HOMG! 😮
I've only been playing a week and I didn't know about getting the hit and still getting the loot and achievement which blew my mind when I found it in game. I got a hit on the disco deer but couldn't get it cornered so I just went fishing, and then I got the Sernuk Hunter accomplishment show up on my screen and was confused as heck since I was fishing 😂
Another trick for multiple people hunting Elkton/Disco dear, or Rave Moose as I like to call him, is if you fire a flare arrow at him, you'll get credit, and the flares won;t spook it, so like several people can fire flares at Sparkly McHooversen and it'll just stand there grazing until someone shoots a real arrow at em. Of course flare arrows do no damage, but it's a good way for people with bad aim to get a hit in before everyone starts pin cushioning him. Unless they changed it in a patch, but I've had several times in a hunt I forgot I had a flare arrows on and shot him, and couldn't get another shot with regular arrows, and still got the loot when the others took him down.

I have been running out of dispel arrows like my watering can has a hole in it 😅 now I know why I keep hearing fireworks go off lol.. I wondered what their purpose was in the game 🎯 I'm not a gamer and only joined this so I could spend time with my kids lol, been playing around a month on pc now and getting the side eye from my daughter when I miss a jump or have to ask how do I..?! 😂😂 Esp fishing..!! They all think mums hilarious 🤣 🤔🙄 but I did get a high fire when I took out disco Dave alone and got the horns to prove it . Probably the only accomplishment with bragging right lol😅

Suggestion on the dispel arrows - just use one per Disco Deer! Or Dave, as you called him, love that haha! I usually say Elkton John! Anyway, you only need one shot on Elkton/Dave to get the loot. Let the server know where he is, then just wait...they will come running! You get to save your arrows, you still get your loot!! If I'm not hunting Elkton, I use slowdown arrows. Much easier to keep my pockets full of those! Hope this helps!

Jel comes to your plot when you start dating Tish to talk to you about it, and since I was already maxed out with Jel and wearing his pin he asked me if I didn't tell him because of what is between us. Then he says something along the lines of "I'm grown, I know how to share" and then goes right into telling you about how to get with his best friend and make her happy haha!
hi! im a new player that just started last week. i read something that said you can start romancing characters at level 3 friendship with them but i was wondering if there are any drawbacks to this. can you still progress on friendship? will i miss out on any lore or quests?
Romance all you like or as little as you like! The dialog changes a little, but you still keep leveling them up the same way as friends, too! Still get all the quests. :) If you DON'T romance, you can't get their photo. That's a romance reward!
8:07 I brought inside fully grown flowers, "planted" them onto the floor, had to water them again? and they gave more seeds. Anyone else have that? Not talking about the new bud plants, but the fully grown, already given a seed flowers...? So at least as far as I'm concerned, I can replant the fully grown flowers, inside, and get another crop of seeds of the same. Just FYI.
you can in fact tuck rose bushes and other flowers further back, after first placing them on the ground somewhere, then moving them in free move @Ravynia Gaming

Honestly, preserves are the best way to make money consistently. Grow your food, turn it into preserves, and then I turn mine into glow worms/fertilizer and sell it all. It's a steady paycheck each day. Hunting and mining are what I do to get that extra cheddar, but gardening keeps money in my pocket!

This video is actually a little older, I'm over 600 now. I've been playing since launch! :) And I'm not even CLOSE to some people I know, who have over 2000 levels now!
I dont see many players use animation canceling. Almost everything can be sped up that way, mining nodes or chopping trees. Especially Hunting is boosted by that because you can run, jump shoot and cancel the recoil animation and keep running. The Sernuks are just a bit faster than the player and hunting is getting so much easier. The magic Sernuk just needs 6 dispel arrows and it will never use its dash if you can keep up with it
I'm not good at timing the animation cancel, and I like the speed and feel of the game so I don't bother with it. If you can get good at it though, it definitely does make things quicker! It's just not for me. I use it harvesting in the garden sometimes but that's about it.
I didn't hit Elkton, I shot at him and it scared him so he ran, others tracked him down and killed him but I got loot. So you just have to scare him to get the loot.
I'd love to know how to keep track of all the characters' wants. They tell us and I don't think it tracks it in the game. I constantly get these mixed up.
It does track it! Go to your menu and click the heart tab for relationships. Click on the character you want to give a gift, and if they have told you what they want that week it will be in their weekly wants! ❤️ I always ask them when I'm out and about and run into them, and then go and gift everyone at the same time after grabbing all their goodies at my house.
Actual pathing is coming soon, but I currently have that floor piece from the Ravenwood set and the butcher blocks from the Gourmet set around my plot as pathing.
I second that, definitely let the server know you're hunting the magic deer and they will work with you. They will flare and shout out the loot, and if someone is actively hunting they might party up with you so you can share their hunting horn or work together :)

You can put things on shelves! Sometimes what I do is put the shelf low on the wall and then decorate it, then move the whole shelf up to where I want it. :)
I’m a switch player! Here’s what I do; Place shelf on wall low down somewhere. Put items on the shelf. Move shelf back up where you want it! Alternatively, I’ll sometimes keep a spare dresser in my inventory and stand on that to load up the shelf while it’s already where I want it to be.
I do have a error that keeps popping up when I try and install on the kids PC it keeps telling me my Intel graphics needs updating but it nvr works. If anyone has any ideas let me know
It could be that the PC doesn't have specs powerful enough to play the game. It could also mean that your GPU driver needs an update. Find out what kind you have and you should be able to google search how to update it. :)

Purple snakes give 8 silk sometimes.

Yup! Sometimes it doesn't work if you only 'add' the ingredients, you do have to actively bake, flip or stir. That's the only trick. :)

As a new player I am actually pleasantly surprised about how much freedom we actually have over decorations and customizations of our plots.
I always use the bugglass so I can see the rare Bugs and they all Drop Silk. But that also expensive in the beginning.
You have a BEAUTIFUL house :) I love the game. I think the fun of it is not only the game play but the decorating :)
Decorating is my favorite thing in the game!! I'm working on a flower farm right now, and I'm SO excited about it!!

Elkton has the best drop rate, the other two have a 1/1000 chance, so it's rough out there.

I dont see many players use animation canceling. Almost everything can be sped up that way, mining nodes or chopping trees.
Especially Hunting is boosted by that because you can run, jump shoot and cancel the recoil animation and keep running. The Sernuks are just a bit faster than the player and hunting is getting so much easier. The magic Sernuk just needs 6 dispel arrows and it will never use its dash if you can keep up with it
I'm not good at timing the animation cancel, and I like the speed and feel of the game so I don't bother with it. If you can get good at it though, it definitely does make things quicker! It's just not for me. I use it harvesting in the garden sometimes but that's about it.
And it's only for PC players 😅

I didn't hit Elkton, I shot at him and it scared him so he ran, others tracked him down and killed him but I got loot. So you just have to scare him to get the loot.
I'd love to know how to keep track of all the characters' wants. They tell us and I don't think it tracks it in the game. I constantly get these mixed up.
It does track it! Go to your menu and click the heart tab for relationships. Click on the character you want to give a gift, and if they have told you what they want that week it will be in their weekly wants! ❤️
I always ask them when I'm out and about and run into them, and then go and gift everyone at the same time after grabbing all their goodies at my house.
Can I move existing harvest house to a new plot?
Sure can! When you pick it up however, all items will go to storage. So you'll have to redecorate.
One thing I'm still trying to figure out is where to get the curtains

How do I get paver stones to put outside around my plot?
Actual pathing is coming soon, but I currently have that floor piece from the Ravenwood set and the butcher blocks from the Gourmet set around my plot as pathing.
xD i must be doing something wrong im level 41 way past level 10 and i only get renown so no metals, or do mean levels in each skill?
It's in each skill! Get to level ten in each skill. :)
My problem. When I do get a shot. But I've been losing where they t and getting to notice but no one flagges the loot
Try asking the server to flag the loot! Sometimes people don't realize other people are hunting. If you ask people to they will flare it. :)
I second that, definitely let the server know you're hunting the magic deer and they will work with you. They will flare and shout out the loot, and if someone is actively hunting they might party up with you so you can share their hunting horn or work together :)

Said that the first 3 plots are free. The 2nd plot is saying i have to pay like $50k how come people are claiming they are free when they aint?

I play on switch and how do I put things on the different shelves or can I not because I play on the switch.
You can put things on shelves! Sometimes what I do is put the shelf low on the wall and then decorate it, then move the whole shelf up to where I want it. :)
I’m a switch player! Here’s what I do;
Place shelf on wall low down somewhere.
Put items on the shelf.
Move shelf back up where you want it!
Alternatively, I’ll sometimes keep a spare dresser in my inventory and stand on that to load up the shelf while it’s already where I want it to be.
I do have a error that keeps popping up when I try and install on the kids PC it keeps telling me my Intel graphics needs updating but it nvr works. If anyone has any ideas let me know
It could be that the PC doesn't have specs powerful enough to play the game. It could also mean that your GPU driver needs an update. Find out what kind you have and you should be able to google search how to update it. :)
